Cpa exams are way harder
CFA numbers have grown over same time period. At its very hard. Harder than CMA. Soooo there’s that. Stop shilling for AICPA
The real issue is the cpa is too hard to obtain and they keep making it more difficult to pass. Also most people don't go to college for accounting because the salary is so much lower than other business degrees like finance.
150 has to GO!
I don’t disagree with that part. But many states require 2 years public accounting exp, work exp verified by cpa. and don’t forget $$$. Those things have to go. That’s short list
Started out in tax for Deloitte and now a PM for big tech. I don’t know why people why wants to stay in accounting with shitty salary
And shitty lame lifestyle
The CMA is a WATERED DOWN CPA. I'll take the CMAnext year after I finish my CPA because i won't have to study much and it'll be easy to add a few more letters to my name.
Also... can we not ignore that the CPA gives you the ability to oversee audits and to represent clients in tax court... while the CMA is for industry people to get into management without having to get a MBA
Y’all still don’t get it
I been applying for accounting jobs for years with no luck. I think they just wanna fill the market with foreigners
