Will it drive 120 ohm headphones to decent volumes? that all i'm concerned with.

Thanks for watching. I don't know that I can answer your question easily without more info. I use this headphone amplifier in conjunction with a professional recording interface. My HD 280s have an impedance of 64 ohms, and this has no problem driving them. Apparently the rule of thumb is that a headphone amp should have an impedance of 2.5 to 8 time LESS than the headphone impedance. This amp has an impedance of 47 ohms, so you should be good to go.

Any idea about the limits on impedance?

Thanks for watching, Hirak. Here is what Fifine lists on the specs page: Input Impedance 47KΩ; Max. Input Level +16dBu; Output Impedance Approx 47Ω. I hope that helps!

I'm not sure what you are asking, but I think you are asking if this is a good headphone amp for use in the studio. Yes - It should work just fine for most home studio needs. It has one stereo input, and 4 stereo outputs (just be sure to use the correct cables for stereo). Each output has its own dedicated volume control. As long as you don't turn your source (recording interface) output up too high, the signal will come through the headphone amplifier nice and clear.

      @@JeffMillerOnline is for récord music

@@inventadoconomy9754 This item does not record music. It is a headphone amplifier - it receives an audio signal from another source (typically a recording interface), and allows up to 4 people to listen to the source signal. I hope that helps! Thanks for watching and writing.
