Same here. I saw during the game that Foster hardly moved, but seeing the header now you can see why. Oldham were no pushover but 5-1 flatters them. That was some of the best we have played all season
I know Mullin gets all the plaudits for his outstanding goals contribution, but my word Elliot Lee has been fabulous for Wrexham this season. What an unbelievable signing. Quality and class oozing from him, and he pulls out finishes like that one. Super.
Mullin just makes goals every game, but elliot lee is the best player technically speaking. way too quick, great ball skills, passing, agility.. guy is definitely another level
The number of chances Wrexham create is actually frightening. Results like this are so important too, no disrespect to Oldham, but it could've been more. With the league so close and Notts County still to play, goal difference may still come into it (which is just wild to even fathom).
I paid for the National League subscription and watch the matches live as I live in Fresno, CA But I always enjoy watching these highlights! Great job by the editing team! Oldham seems a tad bit tart in their play and I am glad that a red card was given. No need for unsportsmanlike behavior.
oldham are frustrated ... not that long ago in my life time they were in the premier league but bad management and misfortune has them right on the outskirts of the football league . i live on the border of oldham so know many fans and i feel for them... no need to play dirty like you say but frustration brings it out of some unfortunately ... at this level on their day wrexham are almost unplayable. wont be surprised if they keep climbing to league 1 ... will get very hard from there though as there is significant investment involved to get in and beyond the championship... this wrexham story is fantastic though and definitely a model for how to run a club and get a community on board . the notts county game on monday was one of the best games of football i have watched and that is in 30 years of following manchester united my club ... i think like many wrexham are my 2nd club now 😂
Barnett might have the highest probability to make it all the way to the Premier League with Wrexham. He is just amazing with the ball, and really understands defensive angles and formations. If they make it though, this team may be one of the favorites in League Two next year, and they'll add players. Jesus. I wouldn't mind being in League One for a few years, as this team right now is such a joy to watch.

I remember when Oldham Athletic was in the Premier League. Didn't realize that they'd fallen all the way out of the Football League. It's a shame. But Wrexham have a few quality players; it'll be important for them to hold on to them - I can see sides further up the league coming calling.

The one thing I observed was the comments that the players made when they transferred to Wrexham. They love the town and the people. It seems like a great place to raise a family. So I think that counts a lot towards who you play for if you're that kind of person.
Championship bench, league one rotation, league two starter, NLeague star so, yeah what's the point being a player for a championship team where he can't have playing time, he might not have the same salary at Wrexham but with exposure he can make a good transfer with a guaranteed playing time. Good move for him.

I know social distancing is important but FFS ... apart from that Mullin should be given a call up ... just because it's 'National League' is irrelevant because at worst he's more than the standard of Latvia and Armenia and he's possibly near to the level with Turkiye ... for me, if Brennan Johnson is aiming to emulate Giggs and start crying off, then he's a good shout

Likely in need of upgrade and damaged / degradation. I think though that once the capacity problem is sorted ( Kop end ) we will likely get more new stands. Many like myself believe we could go up and also fair well of another chance again. I think investment is inevitable
Oldham fans were above there. Safety committee won't let them place away fans above home fans. A bigger away following would sit in top and lower tiers. A smaller away following would sit where the seats are covered and Wrexham fans who are members would be able to buy tickets in the upper tier.

Watched the red card a hundred times and i can't see a malicious elbow. To be fair the Wrexham player had his arms up pushing Fondop in the back as the ball was in the air.

This is the national league. It’s not a part of EFL. Winners are promoted into EFL through the EFL League 2. Still a quality performance by any standard.
