I can confirm it’s the same as the Raptor bike. I bought one when your last video came out on it before the price increased. Have had some issues with noises (fan blade rubbing and sprocket adjustment), the videos Fringe sent me to fix and adjust it were of the Bells of Steel bike. Same monitor, base, wind guard etc. Raptor is just a different color scheme with turf tires included.
Same exact experience. purchases for $705usd before price jump and arrived with the belt noise rubbing on the adjustment. it eventually went away (the sound) with using it. they sent me BoS videos for repairing it (which did not work for the repair). however it is def the same bike. does anyone know the best calorie conversion for echo? I estimate it to be 1.5x. 50 cals on echo is about 75 on raptor/Bos.
Physics nitpick at 5:27 The bigger metal blades are harder to start up not because they need to move more air, but because they have more rotational inertia. When the blades are moving slowly, the air has plenty of time to get out of the way (just listen to the woosh or feel the blowing!) Heavier blades or blades that are further from the point of rotation are harder to speed up (think if the flywheel platform had a bigger wheel!) Great stuff as always, Coop & co.
The width between the pedals is called the "Q Factor". I'm a recently retired personal trainer and Spinning instructor, and it's come down to either the BoS Blitz or the Concept 2 BikeERG for my home gym, but after this review, the Blitz it is! Thanks for this review, Coop!
I have the scwhinn airdyne for 10 years now. Love the bike but what I would love to see is adjustable arms. I adjust the seat height a lot to place focus on different leg/hip ranges. I would love to elevate the handle arms as well to align with shoulder placement.
Another great review that literally saved me $$$! Thank you. I had the Fringe Raptor in the cart, ready to buy when I saw your Blitz video. My Blitz was delivered last week in perfect condition. Assembly was straight forward and easy following the enclosed directions and BoS assembly video. I even used the included wrenches (if you can call them wrenches). My only complaint is the seat which is not a deal breaker and no worse than the majority out there. I ordered an Airhawk bike seat to replace it. I've been using their cushion products nearly 20 years for back and hip pain.
Hi Coop - love the fact that you guys are listening to us. A request for a future review: can you guys review what the best plyo boxes (more specifically padded/cushioned) are on the market right now? Thanks!
Just bought mine on Amazon prime, delivered today on time (3-days after ordered) love the quiet belt drive and how stable it is, sturdy tough build, air shroud is nice and included. comfy seat, first day impressions... impressions
This is a great value. Had my eye on it ever since As Many Reviews As Possible reviewed it a few years ago. I remember commenting about it in a few of GGR’s videos so I’m glad Coop finally got one. It’s unfortunate Fringe Sport jacked the price up for the Raptor Bike. That was far and away the best deal for an air bike when it launched, but now it’s back to BoS.
I had one I sold it right away....the seat will move back asap because it's such a poor design...no matter how much u tight it it will still slide back while your biking hard so annoying....bells of steel know what im talking about.go to their site and read the other comments... same problem as me...I had to literally tape my seat around with a electrical tape 10 times jist so it won't slide back on me....good price tho I guess
Mine just arrived yesterday, put it together today. The quality seems really great so far, and the packaging was amazing. It shipped via UPS, and the outer box was beat to shit. Fortunately it was packed so well in the inside, it was in mint condition. Communication with the company is great, and the owner even threw in a free Tshirt.
Got to say thanks to y'all at this channel. Had been toying with the idea of getting a piece of cardio equipment for the house. Really helped peak my curiosity into air bikes. I was considering the Rogue Echo, but with a price tag of $966(total with shipping and taxes) with the addition of a wind guard that was hard to justify. Especially considering I live so close to my gym. Thought about the Titan fan bike but came across this review. Really glad I did. This seems to be the best fit for my wants/needs and only $60 more than the Titan fan bike. $699 with free shipping on the way to my home now. Thanks again!
Something I’ve always wondered, why are air bikes and spin bikes two different categories? In other words, why not provide a static handle bar on a bike like this for people who want to do long, slow sessions rather than HIIT sessions?
You can still do long slow session on air bike while moving arms or crossing your arms and just movie legs. Also, they’re different categories because the airbike is limitless resistance and typically no ghost riding whereas on indoor bike and bikes in general you can sit still and let momentum keep going. Also the resistance is different you have to change it manually usually. But yeah I agree they’re very similar. I believe someone made some stationary handles to add onto their Echo air bike if you search.
Thanks Coop. You are my go to channel for growing my garage gym. Awesome seeing how much everything has grown with your team and channel. Keep up the amazing work and thanks again. Yes please threaten these companies more. Always cracks me up.
The best cheap fan bike is one you can afford. I got a free 90s schwinn airdyne fan bike off Craigslist this year. And does just fine for the average person. I couldn't see a reason to spend $500-900 for a new fan bike
Bells just swapped mine out because the paint on the fan literally blew off while using it. I had yellow paint chips all over my home gym. The fan had zero primer on it so we’ll see if it’s a fluke or a mfg design issue.
I had been looking for a used Echo bike for a while and after this review I managed to find a cheap Blitz bike. Only thing I don't like is the seat adjustment like you mentioned. It does slide around on me sometimes so I wish it had clicks for adjustment but overall Its great. Thanks Coop and crew! 💪
I grabbed a Sunny Fitness air bike for 30 bucks a couple of years ago. Amazingly, it's a belt-drive machine. Eager to hear your thoughts on that model as an ultra-budget option, Coop!
Going down the tech route, it would be cool if you could review some of the available velocity-based training systems. Thinking home gym owners rather than commercial facilities (so probably excluding the $2k GymAware), I'm thinking Flex, Vitruve, RepOne, Vmaxpro etc.
In Canada, the BOS Blitz Bike delivered to my location is $285 less than the Rogue Echo Bike delivered (free shipping on Rogue!). For $285 difference, and this is probably something you won't be buying very often, which one am I buying?? No idea if bells ever do sales on these in Canada or free shipping. Longevity is usually king with me. With both built in China, do we think that either is going to last longer than the other?
never knew they had these so cheap until 2 days ago and I just found out of these in general couple months ago seen shannon had one it's really no need to get the overpriced ones when these are still way better then a regular exercise bike
After watching your review, I bough this bike. I love it. At the gym, I used the Assault bike and Echo. The Blitz seems easier to pedal. Does this mean that I reach the meters/calories faster than those other bikes? Or is the resistance calibration similar?
Rogue Echo Bike appears to have 1 belt directly between pedal shaft and fan blade shaft. This bike and Fringe look like they have 2 belts connected to an auxiliary shaft. Schwinn AD6 has 2 belts while the more expensive AD7 (Pro) has a single belt. This appears to be the main difference between the cheaper air bikes and the top of the line bikes. Is there any impact on reliability or functionality between the two bike designs?
I agree on the fact when you mentioned that these bikes come from the same factory (not exactly, in some cases). Maybe not all of the components but yes, from the same if not most from the same "component" manufacturer
Another great review, Coop. I have learned a ton from you over the last couple of years; thank you. I have to say, though, that i hate the way you pronounce “assault.” Lol Also, where did you get your stand for your Prime Adjustable Bench
Future review request: the Maverick bar by PhenoX fitness. Very intrigued by this product due to its modular capabilities, but would love your thoughts!
Man I’ve been asking about the Vulcan thrasher for almost a year. I’ll just keep watching and keep asking. My heart is wounded a little more each time a bike is reviewed and it’s not the thrasher. Still love y’all tho. :)
GGR. You guys should go and check out what they’re listing this bike for price wise now. Your link has it at 700… directly onto the website is a different price.

I had a Schwinn Airdyne decades ago, & liked standing off the seat. I've heard tha some bikes' hand-levers get in the way of standing. Please mention which bikes do or don't allow for standing.
I have the bos flat bench with the fat pad and love it. Other than that, I have a big mish-mash of different brands all thrown in a little homegym which has saved me thousands of dollars not joining a corporate gym
Something like a Europe Special would be super cool. Most of the stuff you review we cannot get here in Europe, but maybe at some time in the future you have the chance to come over here and check out some European products or even get them mass shipped in one crazy special event? Or find a crazy European guy or girl you can collaborate with?
Hi, I ordered a blitz bike over a week ago. Today is the 9th day and my order STILL is processing. I’ve reached out to their Customer Service and no one seems to know where it is, or when it will ship. Surprised because their website says. 1-3 days of processing. Anyone who ordered one please help me out here how long did the shipping take??
A good comparison point is the cal / meter between those and rogue / assault for crossfit games .. can these really be dependable to replace them ? How consistent are the screen recording
Do you think the Tru Grit Grit Bike is the same bike as the Raptor and Blitz? If you say Grit Grit 3x in a mirror, the Flyers’ Gritty will show up behind you.
The seat slide is terrible for the price of this bike. Other than that great piece of equipment I just wish they wouldn’t have been so cheap with the lock.
Please do a review on the best rack mounted pulley systems. Cheap vs Rogue Slinger vs UPS system vs stand-alone machine.
I second that
Slinger and a rhino can't be beat
Surplus Strength UPS is best and can be used with a Rhino.
Well, not just the best. Include plate loaded versions. Got plenty of plates.
Gluck's Gym review of this a few months ago was pretty good 👍🏿

Hi! How long did the shipping take for you? It’s been over a week and mine is still processing…
@@neharahman7828 I had mine in less than a week. Alberta to Southern Ontario.
@@cgoblin That sounds great, I called them and apparently the order was rerouted from california warehouse to Indy. I guess an expected problem!

THANK YOU... similar to my thoughts on the "tensile strength" of bars meaning anything... yield strength would be more useful.

Two votes for soft pylo boxes! The cheap ones are not very stable, and the expensive ones are 2-3x more $.
Consider this vote #3. I'm training teens and need some boxes. Deciding whether to slap some together myself or not...
Just bought mine on Amazon prime, delivered today on time (3-days after ordered) love the quiet belt drive and how stable it is, sturdy tough build, air shroud is nice and included. comfy seat, first day impressions... impressions
Hey Coop,
Is there any way that you can do a review of the BoS Residential Air Bike?
Respectfully,
Nicholas
Can you do a review of their new Residential Air Bike vs. this?

This is intriguing. Basically a belt driven Assault Bike. Great review as always!

Fortunately it was packed so well in the inside, it was in mint condition. Communication with the company is great, and the owner even threw in a free Tshirt.
Has it held up? I am interested in making this purchase as well. Thank you in advance.
Coop doing a burnout on an air bike was something I did not know I needed to see but I'm so glad I did
No offense, Coop but you should use Thayers witch hazel for your neck scars. It will soothes the rashes and razor burns, prevent ingrown hairs.
He needs to grow a beard and stop shaving ASAP.
I've got a witch hazel bottle full of ass whup I'll come over there and open on y'all
I bought this bike about a month ago. It is one of the best investments in my home gym;

It’s $900 now. I was going to purchase one today and seen the NEW price. So disappointed.
And now we wait for them to raise the price by $200 😆
$849 now while a Rogue echo Bike is $1300. All in CAD
On Amazon it's 1k now lol
You should review the sunny tornado bike. Another budget option.
Bells just swapped mine out because the paint on the fan literally blew off while using it. I had yellow paint chips all over my home gym. The fan had zero primer on it so we’ll see if it’s a fluke or a mfg design issue.

Hey coop, I think you could do a video on replacing or attaching turf tires to airbikes since you like them so much, y’know good ol’ diy stuff
It was until Coop recommended it. Now it has been marked up 200 dollars.
I have the Scwinn AD2 that I bought for $175 and it’s been great.
I was asking for this review, thank you so much.
Also Fringesport really isn't accessible in canada and the Canadian pricing on this is even a tiny bit better than the American pricing so go BOS!
Coop, the width of the bike is referred to as the Q Factor.
stance width in the bike fit world

Another great review, Coop. I have learned a ton from you over the last couple of years; thank you. I have to say, though, that i hate the way you pronounce “assault.” Lol Also, where did you get your stand for your Prime Adjustable Bench
i love my raptor bike!!! bought it just before the price hike.

Good review sir. Welcome in Canada anytime, but come to Toronto, not Calgary. BOS have a facility here too! 😂

What about the GoPlus Air Bike that's currently on Amazon for $279.99?
For a European market e review of the ATX® Air Power Bike would be interesting as they are one of the leading home gym brands
Damn it I wanted to buy this. Now it's gonna be $300 more when I go to purchase

Hmm, I really like the review, but what was the "big secret" at the end he promised? Must not have been that big, lol. Great review as always!
It’s basically the fringe sport raptor bike. That was the surprise
@@chasedolieslager4657 Thanks!
Would like to see some reviews on leg presses, specifically home gym rated, that are out there.
No no no! I was planning on buying one of these. Fuck! Now their price will go up. Damnit GGR!
Have you herd of anyone braking the belt. Just wondering. I guess it’s not under a lot of heat like a automobile where the belt will dry rot or crack.
We need a review on the jacked up power rack pro!
I think the price just went up in Canada. Not sure though, but I think it used to be 759$ CAD and now it’s 849$ CAD
Thanks Coop
Can you do a review on the new floor GHR by Titan and compare it to a regular GHR?

Yes ! Finally 😀 thanks
Coop is leaning up!
How about a review of the Proform HIIT or Bowflex Max Trainer?
Is this same resistance as the Echo bike? I’m wondering this as a lot of people say echo bike has tough resistance.
A good comparison point is the cal / meter between those and rogue / assault for crossfit games .. can these really be dependable to replace them ? How consistent are the screen recording
following...
Coop, try velcro on the wind guard.
Can we get a calorie comparison to assault and echo?
1.5x conversation for echo bike ? what do you guys think at garagegymreviews?
Would it be difficult to paint that fan blade ? Not my favorite color and to be honest, partially why I don’t want it lol
Review the Vulcan Strength Scull Rower
Very thorough review on this one. Fringe took an L with that announcement.
Review the Nordic bench for hamstrings by Rogue please
Would you pick the rogue echo refurbished, this or the Fringe?
I wish someone made an airbike which added magnetic resistance along with the air resistance.
Do you think the Tru Grit Grit Bike is the same bike as the Raptor and Blitz? If you say Grit Grit 3x in a mirror, the Flyers’ Gritty will show up behind you.
Please do a yoke review, rogue, rep, Titan
How does this bike compare to other belt drive bikes like the Echo and Schwinn AD7 in terms of noise?
Wonder how this compares to the Titan bike that is currently on sale now for $570 🤔
Coop did you hack rep monolith arms onto a pr1100 rack?? If so what did you use to do it?
I'd still like to see a review of Xero Prio's :)
Man, Fringe really hurt Coop with their price hike. There's some healing left to do. 😁
I need one of these, but my fat ass just wants to bulk and push my max up. why am I broken?
Can u review that ebike just for the hell of it? Looked sweet
I miss all the single product reviews
Please review the American Barbell Eagle Bike
Man, Coop is starting to get some guns showing through. No more of the sleeper dad bod look.
Can you review my favorie: The VersaClimber ?
how about the cascade Magnetic Rower and fan bike?
Coop how about the Surplus Strength UPS?
Can you do a review on a trugrit air bike it’s also a belt drive
The seat slide is terrible for the price of this bike. Other than that great piece of equipment I just wish they wouldn’t have been so cheap with the lock.
I wish I had room for this. I'm at the point now if I buy something I need to sell something 🤔
