At 6:06, the review implies that “The Underwater Menace” is part of season two and, at 7:44, the review implies again that it’s part of season two (stating that ratings would later slump in series 3 & 4). To clarify, this story was part of season four, not season two.
For US fans, the DVD cases haven't been consistent since like 2015. So, I've mostly opted for the steelbooks because I can get them sooner.
I love that they continue to have reversible covers so your collection can look the same even as they change logos
I might be on my own here, but I wish this one had "Special Edition" in the title like the 2021 version of The Web of Fear. Also it's odd that there isn't an option to autoplay the Animated B/W 1+4 with the Surviving 2+3 in the DVD menu, because it's been an option on all the other animations with surviving episodes since The Faceless Ones

Me too. I just think it should have been faithful in its animation given episodes 2 and 3 survive
In Region One land we always get a basic dvd or blu ray. You guys get those amazing blu ray sets & steel book versions. All of our releases are very bare bones. No disc specific artwork, no booklets, no nothing!!!

I was watching episode two and three of The Underwater Menace on BBC iPlayer and now I think the animated episodes should be on there too.

i like the fact its animated but why arent we hearing anything about the next animation i mean we got the confirmation for this back in august so why hasnt the next one been teased

They should have done the episodes 2 and 3 like they did with the others optional how you view withouy changing.
The Television Centre of the Universe - P2 from the original dvd release hasn't been included, do we know why?
Possibly saving both parts for one of the Collection box sets maybe? 🤔
Probably just wasn't considered relevant. After all, it features Peter Davison, Janet Fielding, and Mark Strickson, all from the 5th Doctor's era and Part 1 was included on The Visitation: Special Edition. To be honest, it had no real reason to even be on the original Underwater Menace DVD and was probably just put on there because there weren't any more DVDs planned that they would have been able to put it on.
This looks good. Too bad Region 1 has to wait until the new year before it is released.

@@KathleenHolland-nk8nkRegion 1 / Region A always has to wait when it comes to Doctor Who DVDs and Blu-Rays. The Underwater Menace Blu-Ray doesn't release here until January 9

This is one animated story that I won't be buying due to the various animation errors, they seriously need someone to act as quality control on these releases
It’s a fine story, but it’s reputation was tarnished by the garbage 2015 release. That release ruined the story’s general popularity, to the point where people called it one of the worst ever. Glad to see it done PROPERLY
