for anyone curious about what happened at 28:00 with the Sardinia-Piedmont war, there was a REALLY cursed Risorgimento interaction. Sardinia-Piedmont had a civil war, which Austria jumped into, presumably because they preferred the revolt government's IGs. Then, it looks like to me, the revolt tag (who Austria supported) used Risorgimento to annex the regular Sardinia-Piedmont, which is why they left the power bloc, and were on Austria's side against France. There are no war goals because revolts use the "annex TAG" war goal, in reference to the revolt/original nation.

The trade type of power bloc works as a customs union btw.
Do a Challenge as Prussia, where you are only allowed to build up military infrastructure and to expand your industry by annexing country’s and/or vassalising them.

Challenge idea: can you dominate the world in Vic 3 without building anything besides your military?
You can't construct anything that doesn't directly feed your war machine; all you can do is keep (and upgrade) your starting buildings and buildings in regions you take over.

@9:30 Well, you figured it out quick when buying goods from UK but it crashed because of the reduction of subsistence farms because of the wine. Subsistence farms make a good number of crafted goods, like liquor, clothing and furniture in the beginning of the game. While the new established vintner could still make decent income because wine is drunken like water in your country, everybody else had to struggle to get some better goods, dropping the living of standard. Less population buying because of increased prices dropped the GDP because companies sold less, and then increasing the production of agriculture with mandate made it even worse as the people working on wine could buy more for higher prices.
