    A little tip for efficiency I learned a long time ago- when I'm cutting around ponds like this one, I'll track down the entire length cutting the top in one pass, then angle the cutter and track back the other way to cut the slope. I'm much quicker when I do that than cutting the top and slope to the waterline in one pass. Of course, that's just me, but it really helped me time-wise.

    The pond looked great. I just couldn't listen to that machine scream like it was in pain the whole time. Thank u for the video.

    Trying to determine which way this machine shoots out the most cuttings. So doesn’t clutter up the pond more than necessary. Maybe should sweep in one direction.?

    That cutter sounded like it was struggling to spin or the machine was struggling to run that cutter.

    Is that machine supposed to make that grinding noise? Sounds like the blade is not fitting correct.

    I seen people with brush hogs in my area along the ditch lines like that nail sector blade in one place and then drive the machine 50 or 60 yards and then back it up

  • @nathanscott7910
    @nathanscott7910 3 роки тому +5

    It seems that it would be faster to just set the angle of the cutter to that of the pond bank and just drive forward along the bank.

    Is the spooling sound because you are toggling the cutter off and on? Does the machine not have constant flow capability. It would suck to have to hold the button down the whole time.

    trying to find a solution to cutting grass in road side ditches about 1/2 mile just grass and weeds, monthly cutting. Guys with weedeaters isnt safe or fun and takes 40 hrs time. Trying to find a stable, light and good reach mini with a cutter. Need to reach 11' and be able to cut, while tracking even if super slow. Thinking I will need a 3.5-4 ton for stability and a rut or similar base light 30" or so cutter. Any suggestions?

    Not sure why you wouldn't cut from the waters edge in every time and limit the mess in the pond.

    *How much would it cost to rent one of these for a day? Or how much to pay someone to come out to do an 8 Hour Job?*
    We definitely need to do this on our property, especially with Fire Season at hand!

    Great video. What exactly is that pond used for? Is that for stormwater runoff? I live in California so I have no idea what ponds in the south are used to for.

    Boa tarde , muito boa essa máquina cortadeira , so que tem ter um limitador do corte , para não pegar o chão , como está acontecendo nesse trabalho . Outra coisa ,o corte tem que ser da esquerda para direita , para a grama não cair no lago . Parabéns pelo invento 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👍

    This bank that you're cutting down at about 37 minutes, looks intentional. Maybe someone pushed it up there so water wouldn't flood that field?

    I hope you didn't give a lot for that thing,, a young guy with a weedeater would be faster, this thing loses momentum as soon as it hits grass and takes a while to recover it's speed..
