- What’s it really like as an entrepreneur working from home and a personal office space? Here's my day in life as an entrepreneur and founder of a media company, AEZ Media. A lot has changed since I quit my job as a Senior Digital Marketing Manager years ago, some good and others more challenging. Thanks for sharing and I would say it's the life of a "Young successful entrepreneur".. When I was an entrepreneur, I was sleeping in the office 3 times a week, I had $1500 car that I was sleeping in just to cut on transport and fuel related costs, I used to eat $1 sandwiches and no social life. That's the reality of a young entrepreneur who is trying to make it and it was brutal but I learned a lot in life and now I do appreciate those tough days. I have for now decided to just do a 9-5pm high paying job because I was most of the time depressed and not worth it. Thanks for sharing this and I wish you more success in your business.

You mentioned moderation as a key word. To avoid burnout, I always try to strike a balance between working hard and taking time to enjoy life.

Hey Andrew thank you very much for sharing how you manage your life as an entrepreneur, it is inspiring and at the same time you make it feel achievable for those who are starting.
I also decided to start a path of thriving on the skills I believe are applicable and profitable, so I truly appreciate your hard work and how you show ppl that.
I was curious about how you mentioned your hustle period, in which you worked practically all day, everyday. How was that period for you, in terms of the stress you accumulated throughout time? Was that a problem for you or you managed to keep it in check?
I am asking, because I find myself susceptible to stress and it manages to cloud my thoughts, judgement and decision making process, it sometimes manages to get between my relationships also (making me a little irritable) and also not letting me rest appropriately lol.
Anyways, I thank you in advance for your answer and knowledge, hope you have the best 2023 possible!! :)
Thanks so much for sharing this great question! Stress and balance are definitely a challenge for just about any ambitious individual. I personally do my best to deal with stress/burnout by using it as a signal to slow down and reassess priorities. As important as our careers, salary, business, and goals are in life, our health and relationships are more important.
So my 2 cents is to use stress as a signal to possibly slow down and do our best to balance life and work harmoniously like yin and yang. Good luck Cristobal, thanks for your support, and I’m wishing you an amazing year ahead too!
