Rumpelstiltskin is fair and honest.. never did he lied about his deal.
That's so awesome because his name was Rumpelstiltskin I knew that he will ask the Queen his name I'm worried that rumpelstiltskin will take Her baby child
Can't get enough of this story
Keep coming back after years 😊
To be honest the king is greedy,
I knew it's just a tale but Rimplestiltskin is the hero cause he kept all his promises.❤
I keep wondering why the little man, who saved the girl's life and spun straw into gold ,is the villain, while the greedy king stands as a hero.
noone was described as a hero
there were only greedy people
Don't think too much. It's a fairy tale. Not the most suitable place to exercise logic.
@@vinayaktripathi8883 yeah
He was not as arrogant as the father
It was weird @@Joemight13
I LOVE RUMPELFORESKIN IT IS MY ALL TIME FAVORITE FORESKIN-LIKE STORY
Read this story when I was 8 and I was terrified lmao. Definitely my favorite Grimm fairytale now
This story scared me as a kid. The villain, the daughter, exploiting Rumpelstiltskin and backing out on the deal. Life was hard enough on him with that weird name.
I love English Fairy Tales.Their my favorite videos to watch.
I love this story
Plot twist:the king was still so greedy that he took the child 😂😂😂😂

SHE JUST HAD A SINGLE EARING LOL I DONT KNOW WHY

At first, I though the little man was trying to help the girl but at the end I knew he was a villian.😮
NGL, THE NAME IS WEIRD and the story is good also!!🎉❤😊

Am I the only one who sees _Rumplestiltskin_ as being the closest thing to being a hero in this story?
Sure, he's socially awkward, and he's not the prettiest gnome you could ask for. But he saves the daughter's life three times. He's not running a charity; if he does some valuable work for you and saves your life, then he expects to be paid. Fair trade, right? And yet, even after he saves her life for the third time, and she agrees to give him her firstborn baby in trade, he _still_ feels bad for her and gives her a chance (slim though it may be) to be released from their bargain, even though he's well within his rights to just poof over, grab her baby, say "Pleasure doing business with you" and poof back on out!
The king is clearly the villain. Prescribing _execution_ for someone who gets caught telling a tall tale to him? That smacks of tyranny! "Spin this straw into gold or I'll kill you!" The king's a rotten prick to the core. So why does the daughter agree to _marry_ him? There's a word for someone who threatens your life: "Enemy". And as a matter of principle, people _don't_ marry their enemies.
Ik this was 11 months ago and you might not even see this but he is the king so he gets to say who he marries it doesn’t matter what the woman says i think just a thought
Um... I agreed with you until the last sentence. Marrying enemies is EXACTLY what was done to avoid war and make allies of them, especially in medieval times.
@@timothyjholloway You're talking about marrying one noble house to another in order to soothe rivalries. The miller and his daughter are commoners with no political rivalry against the throne, so your example doesn't apply here. The daughter isn't marrying the king for the sake of politics; it's more like the result of Stockholm Syndrome.
And what kind of sentiment are you trying to convey with the "Um..." part of your comment? It kind of irks me when people do that.
@@BloodyBay Awww. So you don't think it's politically, socially, financially, or otherwise advantageous for commoners to marry into the royal family when they have the opportunity... for similar reasons that rival houses or even warring kingdoms might marry into each other's families? The king didn't ask to marry her, he commanded it.
Did you find my use of "um..." offensive? Well, it just seems that talking to you in a more serious, non-casual tone would suggest I took you seriously, as if you actually believed what you were saying was true and weren't just saying what popped into your head, for better or worse.
Maybe, after the woman's father had put her in an awkward and desperate position that she resorted to taking a gremlin-like creature's help three times, she was the kind of person, having grown up with a loudmouth, narcissistic lunatic for a father, that would take the king's hand in marriage! It's not as if she or her father had the high ground, is it? Or like she OR the gremlin ACTUALLY spun straw into gold!
While you're talking about principles, why don't you tell us how Rumplestiltskin converted straw into gold. Maybe we could apply such magic, alchemy, or chemistry to other areas of modern life. THEN we can see Rumplestiltskin as the "hero" he is, even though he gave up a newborn child owed to him "on principle" then KILLED himself by stomping his foot through the floor, all because someone gave him his own name! Just who is the loser in this story? The king, who was either tricked into marrying someone incapable of replicating her special skill, or decided the gold she's made him entitled her to a legal obligation shared with him and the combination of their fleshes into his royal bloodline, even though she was related to a blustering loudmouth? The daughter who, in defense of such a useless father, managed to become queen based on her gold-spinning skills? Just what part of "Rumplestiltskin" should I take seriously enough to talk seriously about?
Hmm....
@BloodyBay
I agree.
Rumpelstiltskin was t-posing his dominance
I feel kind of bad for rumplestiltskin.. After all he helped her in time of need and saved her life somehow.. She even became queen!
relaxing music
Well she also tried her best to be fair when he saved her life by trying to give him other things she had which could be fair for both of them but he said he'd rather have a child of his own then any treasure.
This stories are wonderful all of the stories I watch it and always when I am so bored I watch this stories this stories are WONDERFUL

This story is so similar to the one my grandfather used to tell me as a kid .. it's from a bengali folktale.. the first part of the greedy king does not exist though. It's just the child and the subsequent storyline.

Rumpelstiltskin was so funny, it danced and sang(sung) SO FUNNYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!

I like rumplestilskin very much I have it in my daughter's story book
LMAO YALL REALLY DID YODA LIKE THAT
I love this story!!!!! Make more your please
This is my first time hearing this version of the Rumplestiltskin fable. Although the millers daughter is in a terrible life or death situation coerced by the young king, I want to know why she would enlist the help of The little man that appears obviously in a hellish way. On the 3rd night when the daughter promises her first born baby to Rumplestiltskin, and he comes back to collect his transaction for helping her, she withdrew her end of the deal. Has she truly learned the moral (if there is one) to the story? I can assume that the moral of this story from the perspective of the daughter is : cheat someone that helped you, all to gain status in life, and cozy up to the king who once threatened to kill you if you did not produce gold out of straw. And from the perspective of Rumplestiltskin, he spared the life of a helpless daughter trapped in her fathers lies, and expected some equal transaction for offering his help.
And lastly, was the king satiated of his lust for gold in just 6 or so buckets full of the golden thread from the preceding nights that the millers daughter supposedly spun? He’s married to her, she should’ve spun gold every night, no?
The greedy Prince was the villain. The kind green man just wanted a child so badly he helped that girl who about to die
Im in 4 grade and i ALWAYS watch youuu
Girl in rumpelstiskin very lucky
This is the best one I've seen so I'll look at the next one

The queen was lucky that the king did not ask her to spin straw into gold after Rumplestiltskin dies or else she will be doom.
YES OHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
YES...YES....YES....
There's nothing like luck either you are blessed, favored or curse I am preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ
@@tessybayem3899 I just _love_ how you Christian proselytizers will grab onto any word or any excuse to awkwardly shoehorn your dogmatic agenda into _any_ conversation, no matter how irrelevant religion is to the topic at hand. A conversation about geese being aggressive jerks? "This is just one more travesty, because geese were much nicer in the Garden of Eden before our Original Sin called down THE HOLY BLOOD OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST THE MESSIAH AND THE REDEEMER, AMEN!" A conversation about diesel engines? "I've been a great diesel mechanic every since I gave my life to OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST, WHO SHED HIS BLOOD FOR OUR ETERNAL SALVATION, AMEN!"
...and by "love," I mean "detest". Some days, I may even mean "throw up in my mouth about". It depends on how sweetly OUR LORD LUCIFER, THE FIRST LIGHT OF THE FIRST DAWN WHO NOBLY BROUGHT WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE TO HUMANITY AND WAS CAST DOWN FROM HEAVEN FOR HIS HOLY DEFIANCE AGAINST OUR MALEVOLENT CREATOR, AMEN has been whispering in my ear over breakfast, I guess.
Rumpelstiltskin never dies, he will come back
