Money doesn't buy us happiness, family gives us happiness. This story reminds me of a Greek myth with the title called "King Midas and the Golden Touch". The king who spent his time counting all his gold in the dusty dungeon and less time with his daughter Marigold, got a cursed gift from a Greek god. Everything he touched turned to gold. The palace, furniture and the garden. Midas let his greed take the best of him that he should have realized what he was doing. He even turned his own daughter to gold, looking like a lifeless statue. King Midas regretted what he had done, so he called out the god and begged him to get rid of this curse. All he wanted was his daughter back and everything he had. At the end, Midas used pure water to change and brought things back to normal and his beloved Marigold. Yes, the king finally understand that gold doesn't buy happiness, it's love. He did love his daughter more than gold. Because of his greed, impatience and lack of self-discipline, he nearly lost her for good. But luckily, he didn't. He had learned his lesson.
