The National performs its song, Sorrow, repeatedly in a six-hour live loop at MoMA PS1 for A Lot of Sorrow, an original work by Icelandic artist Ragnar Kjartansson.
I attended an amazingly intimate performance by The National at MoMA PS1 today. They performed "Sorrow" repeatedly for 6 hours. This video is not 6 hours long.
Wow. You think they would get sick of playing it after 6 hours. Amazing song, but I think I would eventually get sick of it. Wouldn't want to spoil it for myself by burning it out like this.
Certainly that must be lot of sorrow :( this band is amazing
awesome.
is there any web sight where the whole 6 hours live..I promise to watch it all in one sitting....

+1 for use of violin bow. Any other wackiness? Vocodor? Autotune?
