I have never seen an ev owner driving car beyond 100kmph/h in highways in India .So I think people who buy EV is not looking for power but efficiency.Maruti’s strong point is efficiency,low maintenance if maruti can deliver on these than it will be a runaway success.

Not likely to be much price difference with Creta EV. Expect it to be more than 16 lakhs for base variant. We need middle class cars like WagonR EV, Swift EV etc at less than 10 lakhs to make EVs sales figures higher.
Why do these indian reviewers don’t understand that the front design should be aero efficiency design. It should look subtle than upright. All electric cars will have same design characteristics. Creta and other indian cars are ice platforms so they may look different.

Aero efficiency is absolutely important, but if that was the selling point we wouldn’t have seen the onslaught of Crossovers/Urban SUVs. We would still be driving sedans. If road presence wasn’t a key USP, we wouldn’t have seen cars like Hummer EV, and all those fairly upright Rivian EVs. Designing a vehicle is a mix of two aspects - functionality and desirability. Mostly desirability works well for manufacturers when it comes to attracting buyers.

Talk to people who already own and how they charge, don't rush into it. If you still want better efficiency and don't want charging hassles go for strong hybrid or upcoming fronxx hybrid.
So I've just booked Windsor It looks ugly no button not that great of milage But it's super luxurious and super spacious given the exact mileage as promised The main point is that they give a lifetime warranty over battery So yeah it's a win win situation
If anyone is buying an EV for city purposes only then why they should pay a premium to get "Born EV" (like e-vitara) over a conversion EV(like curvv or creta)? Range is not really an issue for city commutes so it makes more sense to go for the cheaper conversion EVs right?

No matter what anyone says, Maruti designs its cars with Indian customers in mind. Now, they are also focusing on safety and innovation. The same approach will be seen in the EV segment as well. It’s worth noting that they don’t rely on gimmicky marketing terms, and I truly respect them for that.

Creta EV should be Dead on Arrival. Even BE 6 base model has much better battery, charging, power, torque, handling, suspension, safety, range than top model Creta EV. Makes no sense to buy Creta. Even the base model is overpriced by 3 lakhs. Windsor is much better option at 15-16 lakh or BE 6 from 19 lakhs.
they could have given:--- moon-roof, a bit longer in length, hydraulic co-driver adjustment, a better head support...and, at least 18'' alloy wheel size. The reason maruti lacks ....

I think Motoctane said price is between 18-24 lakh if it is true then maruti is trying to rip you off complete BS car. If they try to compete it with BE6 they are gonna get absolutely demolished. BE6 is miles ahead of this car.
Koreans ripping off us. ICE creta start at 11.11 lakh which include 43% gst, now ev creta at 17.99 only has only 5% gst. So even with 38% gst advantage its very expensive. Remember its not born ev but same creta chassie. So just for fun deduct gst , ice engine and transmision expense and add battery for ev it still cost under 11 lakh for hundai, now supposed 3 lakh profit margin, in end its 14.99.

I personally didn't like the interior, it is dark, busy and does not seem spacious. It does not meet the new age EV standards.
