Westminster receives grant to fight street racing

About $80,000 has been given to the Westminster Police Department for car gatherings and illegal racing. FOX31's Kim Posey spoke with the police about how they're getting the message to racers.

Simple solution:
Have audio sensors setup along with smog sensors. Your car is louder than a jet taking off, no more registration. Not to mention those folks at the testing facilities getting percent hearing damage.
Imagine how fun street racing would be with quiet mufflers. Balls snipped.

This has been going on for years in the parking lot at Mexico and Colorado Blvd and they race up and down I-25 and 6th Ave late at night. Very dangerous.
