For the IQ thing with RM he has an IQ of 148 and 98% of people all over the world are below 130

Omg guys it's so frustrating not to have the sound in the video. You missed SO MANY vocals and rapping which honestly completed the guide. You were completely safe with Taylor's guide, she made it so there's not copyrights problems at all + it's samples of the songs every time so you won't get copyright for 5 seconds of music... Just so you know we wouldn't recommend a fan-made video reaction if it had copy rights issues.
Anyways, to comment on a couple things you said :
    - about Jimin (AND Michael Jackson) nope they're not "experiments" they're just counter tenors 😂 It's one of the rarest vocal range for males but it does exist and it's definitely amazing ! 😊
    - RM did not spend time in an English speaking country before debuting, he actually learned English by himself watching English shows such as Friends. Props of having a 148 IQ I guess 😂You also said you didn't know the scale of IQs, well 130 and above are low-key considered geniuses so yeah... he's smart. 😊
    - Now you were asking about their relationships with women and stuff. Well, to make it short, we know literally NOTHING about their possible relationships. As far as Armys and the public knows, they never been in relationships since their debut. But we don't actually know and we gotta respect their will of keeping their privacy. Just know that the culture over there is way different from the American culture... And the Kpop industry is known for being more strict about this kind of drama. Now BTS got so big they could literally do whatever they want in my opinion, they basically own Big Hit at this point 😂 I'm just playing but tbh I wouldn't be surprised if some of them never really got into relationships. As far as hookups, none of them are "in the streets" like you asked 😂 Even tho they share a lot with us, they're very private people and they actually care about what they represent for people. So if they do have hookups (and let's be realistic, they probably do) they're not public about it and know how to keep it all private.
Now to be more general, I understand you guys are new to BTS and don't realize how huge they are. But you got to understand that they easily top international artists as a group and EVEN when they release solo stuff. Jimin's "Like Crazy" for example debuted as top 1 on billboard and it's only his first official solo work. You saw it in the video, Armys are very loyal and support their causes. They have one of the biggest fanbase in the world, with people from all around the world, of every age and genders. So reaching numbers is definitely NOT a problem for them and the least of their concern to be honest. Anyways, I hope you'll react to more (with the sound please) 🥲

I appreciate that you guys were reading the subs so attentively but I feel so bad that you missed snippets of some amazing songs that showcase each member’s talents (not really bc of me, I’ve watched this countless times, but you deserved a proper intro to their sounds) I know copyright is scary but when it comes to BTS music I don’t see a lot of reactors having problems with it. Usually only live performances at American award shows get really targeted. But you should be fine letting the songs play out, and if you’re reacting to a MV just make sure the logo intro for big hit or hybe plays out on screen and you should be fine.

  • @nerd1858
    @nerd1858 Рік тому +42

You don't have to worry about copyright block with BTS music videos as long as you play the Big Hit intro and don't try to monetize them you should be ok. This introduction isn't a worry for copyright block. Live performances can be touchy depending on who broadcast it

😂 I am so cracking up that you didn’t get the correlation of SUGA to shooting guard - ‘Shoo Guar’ is actually what his name sounds like coming from his own mouth. EDIT: I’m sure others can explain it better to you, but I’ll just say this, they all auditioned, were chosen to be part of BTS, trained for 2-3 years before they debuted in 2013. There are other docs out there that gives that type of info. EDIT: Also muting all the music took away from you being able to formulate a quick list of stuff you may want to react to. Especially the members you weren’t familiar with, you were left knowing no more about their individual musical style, than you started with.

Thanks for watching this to learn more about the boys!
Random comments on questions you had throughout the video:
    - ARMY stands for Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth
    - lol yes Suga is cause it sounds like the first two syllables of shooting guard
    - The way kpop groups are formed more or less, there will be a bunch of trainees (being trained in dance, vocals, etc) and out of those some will be pulled to form the group. After the group is finalized and prepared, they debut.
    - I don't know the exact dates but RM and Suga joined in 2010 and Jimin joined last in 2012. Then they debuted in 2013.
    - Yes Jin was recruited for his beauty haha
    - about hierarchy in Korea: There's literally different language that you use depending on how old/what status the person you're talking to is. It's a big deal.
    - RM is the only one fluent in English, but they all speak it at least a little and are working on it.
    - When they talk about iTunes #1's, they mean like in how many countries it got to #1 on iTunes.
    - This one is a guide to the members, I'm sure someone has a good recommendation for a BTS history video tho

    Greetings from Brazil, guys!
When people say they're brothers, it's no joke, they lived together for so long, they would die for each other. If you look at Jungkook, he moved to Seoul to be a trainee when he was 13 years old, being away from his family, the members basically raised him. All of them have the number 7 tattoed as a brotherhood tattoo, as they are and always will be seven.
You listened to JHope, RM, Suga, and Jimin before in your reactions. Maybe you heard of Jungkook before, he opened the World Cup last year, his song "Dreamers" with Fahad (a singer from Qatar) is part of the World Cup official soundtrack. Jin and V are amazing singers, Jin released a song called "The Astronaut" last year that he sang with Coldplay in one of their concerts. And V not only has acted for a drama before, but he's the singer for a lot of OST's for dramas, and every single one of them get top of the charts.
Oh, and I understand the muting of the video, but I think you lost a lot of the "mood" of the moments by worring about the volume all the time. Also, their voices are the most important thing, they're musicians, it hurts seeing them singing but not listening to it. Jungkook singing acapella and you not hearing it was torture x.x but it's fine!

Guys please dont ever mute the songs You missed the whole point of Taylor Guide but I can see you wanna learn about them genuinely and I really love that. keep it honest and enjoy. Jimin has very unique vocals he can growl too when he wants but we love his angelic soothing vocals more. He can hit the highest notes effortlessly thats why every other reactor is whipped for him.

This was too painfull for me to watch all the way.
It hurts that you didn't listen to the guys it sets the mood.
I hope you read the comments cause you need to learn Soo much. Oh and a person is considered a genius if they have an IQ of 120.....so yes he's Very smart . He taught himself English by watching the TV show Friends in Korea.
Suga was a basketball player and was a shooting guard on his team.
I wish you all luck in your journey thru being reactors to music ,but you need to learn much more.
Remember one thing, Army will be watching and if you need help you can always ask and they will answer.
Thank you for trying to learn about the guys I hope you listen and watch this again on your own so you come to understand it better and the members. Oh and in Korea, unlike the USA it's regular for guys and girls to be very close, hold hands, hug, be close, cry and be such close friends and not be looked down on like in the US.
    Good luck guys.
    ❤💜💜💜💜💜💜💜❤
Oh, and the dates at the bottom of each member when they were introduced, is their date of birth. 😊

bang pd is an artist, he's a producer.
spotify used to unfairly segregate BTS a LOT, wouldn't put their [hit] songs on genre playlists, only had them on kpop playlist but they still have 38million monthly listeners. now it's starting to be less unfair, slowly, but bts are still disadvantaged in some ways imo. the video you reacted is from may 2022. Spotify presence for solo projects/members is progressing as well, eg, Jimin has 14million monthly followers after his first album release from about 2 months ago. He was on a few playlists, but tactics which sabotaged his placing in billboard charting in turn affected his duration on Spotify playlists. You compared jhope's monthly listeners from even before his first album release, and compared him to the Weeknd who is an artist who is played twice hourly on the radio (payola?) which is weighted heavily for Billboard charting. which affects as i mentioned, how long a song will be on spotify playlists. so monthly listeners is not really a "telling" guage of popularity if some artists are allowed to be on playlists and others are not.

  • @ralphy383
    @ralphy383 Рік тому +14

YES they made content when they weren't complete.
SATOORI RAP is the first ever song written by jhope, suga and rm.
They made it in 2011 before the vocalists came in.
Originally it was just supposed to be rm, suga and jhope in a hiphop crew (there were about 4 more rappers who were RMs friends set to join in 2010 but they left due to difference in opinions and the company being broke.)
Beginning of 2011 it was just Rm Suga and jhope at the dorms and they wrote satoori rap, a song about their different accents. Jhope and suga are from the west and east of Korea respectively and rm is from near the capital city seoul... so all their accents were different.
In mid 2011, bang shi hyuk starting recruiting potential singers for bts and informed the rappers that their original plans for a pure hiphop crew has changed. They were going to have to dance.
Also NO bang shihyuk did not recruit the best members.... what he did was find people who are passionate in working hard. Jin and jimin didn't even sing and jk was a 13 year old teenager who just started out. Rm and suga and V and jin did not know dance (suga had potential to be a bboy early on before his accident though, but he only did after realising that they were gonna have to dance. )
Jhope didn't rap until he came to the dorms in 2010 and was stuck with a bunch of rappers and he thought might as well start rapping...
The thing about all the 7 member is that they were all hard workers and passionate people who were willing to try something new because of their love for music in different ways. Dancers sang and rapped and
rappers and singers danced. They did it to become bts.

In kpop groups leader is not the most popular member or something like this. Leader is someone who can connect agency and the group, take responsibility for the group when something bad happens, making speeches, always be ready to stand up for the group. It’s kinda like a class president in a way.

ARMY was founded on 9th of July, this year we will have 10 years anniversary. To this big event we will get released for us an official book about BTS, the selling will start on our birthday, but it is probably sold out in the presale, it has only 1M copies the first print. it has 15+M officially registered members (members are paying yearly membership charge). and 85+M in total with all the professions ages and genders. Army has several twt account where a help is provided for free, like law consultations, programming learning, UX/UI design and more others. Army is giving freebies at all bts events where fans are accumulating, like concerts. Army has their own fandom etiquete - the main target is to protect our artists

    Suga explanation:
So, Suga in Korean is 슈가. In Korean 슈 this means shu but when you're writing you have to write it as SU because H is silent in korean (SHOOTING SHO ITS SOUNDS SIMILAR TO SHU) AND 가 this means ga in Korean (GAURD FIRST TWO LETTERS). you can only understand how shooting gaurd is Suga only if you know Korean (hangul) 😅 i hope i make it clear 💜

10:21 They are not blood related at all even though three of the members have a commonly used lastname KIM; all of them come from different backgrounds but four of the members SUGA & V are from DAEGU along with JIMIN & JUNGKOOK are from BUSAN, SOUTH KOREA.
11:08 That 148 was RM’s IQ for the longest time since until he having to retest during mid-exams or KSATs and what I thought was his new recorded IQ at 190 turned out to only be his english composition test score, which I have to go back to rewatch #ProblematicMan to see what his new IQ is (if mentioned). Also, he learned english during his teen years watching “Friends” and later taught the rest of them along with JHOPE who shared in teaching them english as well. *All the members can speak decent amount of english to hold full conversations.*
19:11 Through HYBE, JHOPE contacted the original artists Webster & YoungB agency where he bought the 2006 CHICKEN NOODLE SOUP rights for nearly 1.5mil USD b/c he said it the reason he found the passion of dance at a young age as you can see. From what I heard YoungB was honored & surprised that someone like J-Hope connected with such a vintage song, gladly handed over the copyrights to him so it could live on.* Later, he teamed up with Becky G to remake it with a twist which impressively has a mixture of three different languages Korean, English & Spanish 😭 ITS UNBELIEVABLE now knowing he has now enlisted to complete mandatory military service after JIN previously enlisted and once the remaining members complete their solo projects they’ll also be enlisting toward the end of this year & probably start of next year so that they can try at least make their return sometime in 2025.

The part you were talking about Jins part BTS albums has a storyline the start was BU or Bangtan Universe ,there’s an explanation to it. He was scouted because of his looks he literally started with no musical background and no dancing background he auditioned as an actor as he is an acting student that time in one of Korea’s prestigious university. What we see now is the fruit of his hard work .

    Massive comment incoming,
I'll try to answer as many of your questions as I can and give some tips and additional information.
0:15 Yes she is a fan who creates amazing content about BTS.
1:53 Did you ask what music that is? Black Swan by BTS.
3:11 it isn't really equivalent to the Novel Peace Prize, however it is still an incredibly honorable merit which is difficult to earn and most recipients are much much older by the time they achieve the prestige of such an award.
4:24 It says LA up the top left.
4:50 Yes Big Hit is now a subsidiary of Hybe Labels.
5:00 We do not know what the initial inspiration for BTS' name was but it is unlikely that it is related to Bang Sihyuk's name. Bang and Bangtan are, as far as we're aware, unrelated etymologically.
5:45 He was the CEO for Big Hit and created the group name Bangtan Sonyeondan to be a hip hop focused boy group/ band, and then he held auditions so people could apply for various positions like rapper and dancer. Seokjin was scouted for his good looks, which is, for better or for worse, a big part of idol culture - an appearance which is deemed acceptable and even pleasing to Korean beauty standards. [He jokingly calls himself WWH because, generally speaking, the world does find him attractive for his fine features (he has often gone viral) - full lips, a strong brow and jaw, and a very symmetrical face, which humans generally find pleasing.]
7:30 Yes, they have very high social media engagement with fans, including UA-cam videos and other platforms such as instagram, twitter, weverse, and tik tok.
7:40 Western media tends to be fairly insular, whereas American culture has been global for a long time, so cultural interactions have, until recently, been fairly one sided.
8:10 Bangtan truly love and care about army, which hopefully you will come to see, so they make great efforts to interact with army and provide us with high quality and consistent content and interaction. They have often said that Bangtan's reason for being is ARMY, so you will come to notice that they are unlike many artists with regards to their dedication to their fans.
8:38 Bangtan Sonyeondan means Bulletproof Boyscouts, so ARMY goes with the military theme. Bangtan is the armour (bulletproof), and army is well, the army. So bangtan protects army as both groups fight to effect change in the world.
9:05 RM used to mean Rap Monster. It now stands for Real Me, as Namjoon does his best to be his true self, whatever that may entail, rather than being only a rapper. Korean last names are single syllabic, as with the very very common surname Kim (3 members of BTS have that surname), and first names are double syllabic. Koreans also give their family name first, as it is still quite a traditional culture and family names hold a lot of historical and cultural significance. Hence Kim Namjoon, even though his first name is Namjoon. Same for other members.
9:22 Namjoon got his Runch Randa stage name from a friend who used that name as a gamertag. We don't know of any meaning beyond that, as far as I am aware.
9:50 As with most entertainment labels in Korea, Bangtan weren't the only ones to audition and train but simply the only ones who had the perserverence and talent to complete their training and have the strength and will to keep going when other trainees had quit or been let go. But yes, Sihyuk had a vision for a hip hop group which would change the musical scene in Korea and give Koreans music which was more raw and personal than what idol music tends to be.
10:17 None of them are biologically related.

    • @ChrissyMatcha
      @ChrissyMatcha Рік тому +1

10:30 Leadership in idol groups, and especially with Namjoon isn't the kind of leadership with which you are probably familiar. It doesn't seem like Namjoon is the leader sometimes because he isn't, as you think, more important than anyone. He doesn't have that kind of ego - which would be frowned upon anyway - he is more like a guiding and supporting force. They are indeed all equal, both to eachother and to army. Namjoon has the social and language skills to lead Bangtan on the international skills. He is very mentally and emotionally mature. Not that the others are not, but him no less.
10:43 Jungkook's solo song within BTS - Euphoria.
11:10 0-70 is impaired, Most people average around 100. 130+ is above average and it shows Namjoon's top 1.3 per cent results. Korea has also notably one of the harshest schooling systems so that would be an extremely small percentage globally. Namjoons' IQ is 138 and Einstein's, for reference, is estimated to have been about 160.
11:30 He is the only one who can speak with little to no trouble, hence fluent. The other members can speak varying amounts of English. Fluency doesn't mean absolute ability, so it doesn't mean Namjoon is the only one who can, simply the only one who has little difficulty.
12:50 Namjoon's Mono album is a solo work outside of BTS.
13:07 The members don't often go live during their music making processes. We tend to see their processes after the songs have been released in behind the scenes content.
14:30 We aren't sure what Yoongi's name translates to exactly, but one of the meanings of the name is shine or gloss. Hence Yoongi using it as his stage name.
14:33 Min Yoongi, Gloss, Suga, Agust D.
15:00 Suga is pronounced Shuga. SHOOting GUArd. Hence SHOOGUA > Shuga > Suga. The correlation is simply that it uses the same sounds as the first syllables of shooting and guard.
      16:25 Total at that point.
17:00 They did not release official tracks and albums but you can go back and see some of their earlier, predebut work.
17:10 They were under the Big Hit label, which was slowly sorting out which trainees they wanted to eventually debut under the BTS name. There were other trainees who did not make the final selection.
17:30 Trainees will usually work on their skills before they debut, so dancing, rapping, singing, producing, and other skills which will help them with their idol lives in the future such as acting, languages, etc. Think of being an undebuted trainee under a label as kind of like being a student. Once you debut then you are considered an official artist.
18:10 A great majority of other groups and artists, western and eastern, do not really hold a candle to Bangtan. I will try not to be too subjective here. The more you look into Bangtan, the more you will notice not only the variety of their skills but the excellence to which they have trained those skills. Western pop artists generally do not also rap and dance, Rap artists do not generally sing and dance. If they do it tends to not be to a super high quality. A lot of artists do not also produce their own music to the extent Bangtan does. Part of the reason why Bangtan is so big is simply because, objectively speaking, they boast a high level of excellence in a myriad of skills and fields which makes them an all kill who can charm any sort of fan. You name a genre and they probably have a song which covers it. They cover a myriad of dance styles too, a broad range of subjects in their lyrics, not to mention their other projects of which there are a ton. Webtoons, games, apparel design, acting, modelling. You haven't really delved too deep into the rabbit hole yet, but hopefully you will soon be able to appreciate why they are considered legends.
19:17 The pronunciation of Jung is closer to Jong for the English speaking tongue. So Jong Hosok is maybe a slightly better transliteration although it is still somewhat inaccurate.
19:40 Hoseok was indeed a street dancer.

    • @ChrissyMatcha
      @ChrissyMatcha Рік тому +2

20:40 As mentioned earlier, you come into a label generally just as a trainee and then the company may decide to debut you as a solo artist or as part of a group, or if you're unlucky, you may never debut at all.
21:45 Namjoon and Yoongi helped him to learn how to rap, though he also took lessons the same way other trainees take lessons to rap, sing, dancem etc. Hoseok's style is also a little oldschool and some of his influences and role models are sometimes made obvious.
21:55 All three rappers can sing and have made greater ventures into vocals in more recent years though they tend to still be overshadowed by the vocal line, to non army.
22:05 So to have a copyright credit you would have had to somehow contribute to a song as a producer or writer.
22:30 Bangtan is a top 15 most followed artist on Spotify at 65 million. Hoseok is just outside top 100 at about 14m currently.
24:00 They made a little bit of content before the entire team debuted officially.
24:55 Kim Sokjin is a slightly better way to pronounce than Se-okjin. Same as Hoseok.
25:30 As mentioned earlier, basically for being handsome. Many talent agencies will take naturally good looking people and train them to be idols, rather than taking people they consider less good looking who may already be talented. Although Seokjin has his own talents even if he was not initially a singer and dancer; i.e. acting, and one might consider his will to put in the hard work a talent in itself.
25:47 Well, you can be a guy and acknowledge that another guy is attractive? Like objectively speaking. Talent scouts won't look at the same gendered person and go, oh they're attractive but I won't approach them because that would be weird or suggest that I like the same sex.
26:40 As the subtitle said, Seokjin plays a CHARACTER, not that Bangtan's albums are about Seokjin, but about characters played by Bangtan who are kind of like proxies and representations of their thoughts and feelings, and whatever the songs and albums may be trying to convey. Seokjin isn't the only one who does acting in the videos and promotional/ extra content, but he plays a focal character.
27:10 Bangtan writes music about their personal feelings about themselves, eachother, the world. The video content conveys their thoughts to us visually and the members play characters who dramatise such ideas. If there is a lyric about being sad, one of the members will play a character who might be crying. I hope that makes sense.
27:30 They ARE actually rapping about themselves and each other, since they are the ones who write the lyrics and produce their own songs. But it's in the manner of music which can be left up to interpretation so listeners can engage and feel as though it's their thoughts which are being understood and sung. It's like if you wrote a book about yourself but created a character who was just like you to show your thoughts and feelings.
28:20 It's within Bangtan's discography, even though Seokjin sang it solo, so it is a BTS song, and therefore a "boy band" song. Plus Namjoon has a writing credit on it.
28:55 Namjoon and Yoongi did help the members learn more about rapping, though most of the members already had a liking for hip hop and likely took lessons to learn various hip hop related skills; i.e. rapping and certain dance styles.
29:25 Seokjin initially wasn't very confident about himself, so he jokingly calls himself WWH to make others laugh and make himself feel good. He has grown more confident in his appearance and his place in Bangtan, but he's always good natured about it, and most people generally agree with the opinion that Seokjin has an attractive physical appearance.
29:30 Seokjin is indeed the eldest.

30:07 Yes. Countries in the east such as South Korea, China, India, etc. can still have conservative and archaic views on social norms and expectations. Although things are slowly changing, as ever, with globalisation, modernisation, and westernisation.
30:20 In the US and western countries you'll find "boomers" always thinking they're right, which is similar.
30:30 It's their additional content. They record themselves when they go on vacations and when they're doing various activities. In the Soop, In the Seom, Bon Voyage, etc.
32:05 Well, it wasn't really a serious song. Just for fun.
32:20 The next three are the maknae (youngest) line. The very youngest of which is indeed Jungkook. You actually have reacted to one of their songs - Jimin's solo Like Crazy.
32:40 Born in '97, so Jungkook will soon be 26.
33:20 Meeting a person who inspires you the way Namjoon inspires people is certainly a good reason to be happy. To have someone in your life who imbues you with their intelligence, their passion, confidence, willpower, and drive. A person who will show you how to lead a fulfilling life; like a good older brother.
34:13 They had their first US television debut back in 2017.
34:55 Not sure what you're asking here. Jungkook's family name is Jeon.
35:00 As mentioned earlier in the video, hyung basically means older brother, and can be used for males you are close to, such as cousins or friends. Jungkook is the youngest, so the other 6 members are all his hyungs.
35:25 She put most of the songs up on the top left.
35:45 Although Bangtan feels honored to be compared to the greats, they generally prefer if you don't. They're just Bangtan, so Jungkook isn't Michael as that implication would be disrespecting the other members. Jungkook has a style which adapts well to the styles and abilities of the other artists.
36:47 Their webtoon is called Chakho. They also have a biographical book coming out soon and have done other small literary pieces in the past for their albums, cookbooks to help international army try Korean recipes, etc.
38:15 JK is one of his nicknames, yes.
38:30 What do you mean they're not innocent? South Korea and the US have different cultures. Idols and celebrities are held to quite strict standards, so being a "demon in the streets" would be frowned upon. Asian cultures still expect a high degree of politeness and whatever they consider to be "correct" behaviour. If you mean who's really strong? Jungkook and Jimin are probably the most achieved when it comes to martial artists, some of the other members have some training also.
38:40 Sorry, I might not be understanding what "out here" means. But it might be a matter of cultural difference. South Korea and some other eastern countries have such expectations for idols and celebrities.
39:40 Only Namjoon speaks fluently but the other members can get by with basic conversation, however they generally lack the confidence.
40:25 They were trainees, and so they were basically learning how to sing, dance, rap, etc.
40:40 Bangtan debuted mid 2013. Sihyuk had Bangtan finalised in 2012, then they trained a bit more, and then debuted in mid 2013.
41:30 For Namjoon they said his ALBUM had the most number 1s. For Taehyung they said this SONG had the most number 1s. So those are two different categories.
      41:50 Yes, globally; period.
      42:00 OST means Original SoundTrack.
42:30 The members all have their different charms when it comes to performing. Taehyung is considered very attractive, like Seokjin, and so his visuals are often considered his strong point. However the more you learn about Taehyung, the more of his other charms you'll find, like the other members.
42:40 For army there is no this member or that member. Hoseok has his own charms when performing. It often sounds silly to people who don't know bts too well yet, however after learning about them properly, it becomes very apparent how precious each member is, as part of Bangtan and as individuals.
47:58 They DO break eachother's and their own records, but the three mentioned in this video so far have been distinct. The other two were the MOST number 1s, Jimin's OST was the FASTEST to reach 100 1s.
49:10 Having followed Bangtan for a few years now, they really are very kind and generous. It is a great reason for their status. A big reason for why army truly love and adore each member.
49:20 If you watch reactions for Bangtan, you will also see the reasons why they have fewer but equally passionate male fans. They are amazing artists and amazing people, truly. I hope you will come to see it one day. There is no capping here, some people simply are kind. There are no big or violent incidents concerning Bangtan members, Again, it might be a cultural thing. Acts of violence and such would be shunned in South Korean society.
52:30 Xenophobia is prejudice against people from other countries.
54:00 Bangtan and army are a lot bigger than you probably realise at this point in time. Hopefully you will want to continue your journey and let them have a positive impact in your life as well. Yes, there is much charity and kindness in the fandom. Though there are the bad sides of fandom culture as well, but such is life.
57:20 Army generally don't appreciate Bangtan vs. each other or other artists, since that's a competitive culture Bangtan doesn't support. But of course that's for you to decide.
Also please try to pause occasionally and speak your thoughts rather than speaking over the video. If you'd like to become a bigger reaction channel then that tends to be one of the key points of reaction videos. Also one of the better formats is to have the video you're reacting to smaller and at the center so that your audience can watch along with you.
You'll find Bangtan and army are more than just artists and a fandom. Hopefully you will discover the true reasons for why they are so sincerely beloved. I look forward to future BTS reactions from you guys.

So they all speak and understand English to some degree, what this guide said is that RM is the only one fluent. The others are still learning, some are better than others. But they have no problem memorising lyrics and singing in English, or communicating in a more basic level if needed.
Also, RM’s IQ is kind of MENSA level, genius basically. He didn’t spend time in the US , he just learned English watching the sitcom Friends when he was young.
Each one of them brings something different to the group , you will see what we mean in time I hope.

I hope you continue your journey. Its a story that has inspired many people and ARMY fans. I’m sure other fans (ARMY) will feel you in all the questions you posed. There are other videos that document their journey as a band. Basically, all the members auditioned independently from each other. Bang Sy-hyuk, recognizing their talent, signed them, offered training, originally as a hip hop group. They debuted June 13, 2013. They expanded into other genres. I recommend “Who is BTS” by XCeleste, and “The most beautiful life goes on: a story of BTS“ by Rice Squad. That’s all for now.

In Korea it's a bit different from the US. There are Entertainment companies which sign idols, for as little as their looks, and then train them for years and years. Some get trained longer than others. They train them in everything, it's like an intensive school. They train the entire day, from when they wake up to nighttime and some companies have monthly `shows` where trainees have to showcase if they've improved by doing different performances. So when they got signed, they weren't just automatically put out as artists. They had to train. A lot of the people who get signed never become idols because they get eliminated if they can't keep up or if the people in charge don't think they fit the image/vibe/whatever else.

Basically in kpop, there are entertainment companies/labels. People audition for them and if they get signed on, they become "trainees". The company could already have an idea to make a group before signing on trainees, or it could be that while the trainees are training in singing and dancing, they see which trainees seem to fit together as a group and make them a team. Bang Si Hyuk wanted to make a male kpop group and were looking for people to audition and get signed on, RM became the first member and Suga became the second even though he initially signed just to be a producer, slowly they found more people and these 7 boys made the final cut

In South Korea, in kpop, it's very common for companies to send employees to look for talented young people in schools, parks, streets, basically anyone can audition. If you're chosen, getting into the company is like getting into a small boarding school. You live in dormitories with the rest of the trainees, far from home. The training can last from months to years, and they eliminate people until the best ones remain and form the group. Big Hit was a little different, small and broke, they relied a lot on their talent to get ahead because they had no influence in the media. The bts members were chosen and trained for about two years before debut. They turned Big Hit (the company they are part of) into the most profitable company in their country. And thanks to them, HYBE was raised, a company in which they have shares given by the CEO who formed them as a group (Bang PD). He knows that everything he built is thanks to BTS. BTS is the only musical act that contributes significantly to their country's PBI, they are the pride of South Korea, the leaders of the Korean wave in the world.

This is my opinion and I'm not mad. I'm just educating hopefully 😂I just want to say that there's literally nothing unmasculine for men to wear makeup like not at all. I'm always baffled to see people judge them for wearing makeup saying they are girly for doing so. BTS? girly??? Haven't people seen them rapping? That's MEN. It's just the beauty standard in Korea which btw even normal men in Korea do wear basic skincare like sunscreen and moisturizer which I'm aware that no man in western do but it's normal in Korea. I like men wearing makeup but are very much gentlemen than men looking "masculine" but too much of a man to be gentlemen. Also, don't be shocked if you see them being over-affectionate with each other. Trust me there's nothing weird going on and they have lived together for more than 10 years they are already a family. I like BTS because they change how I think of a man. A man can be masculine but soft. A man can be manly but also caring. They could've only made a harsh, manly rap song about scx, drugs, and dissing people to attract rap fans who are mostly men (since they originally targeted hip-hop audiences). Still, they also make music about self-help, self-love, and motivation. This to me is an artist that deserves respect. They ignore what is expected of them being a boyband and truly influence people to be better.

2:07 As of this year they’ve won 970+ awards and record breaking milestones which they continue to strive.
4:14 BTS began as undiscovered talent but well known by the locals in their hometowns but many tend to get confused when seeing this specific scene which is from their episode 8 finale of mini-series #BTSAmericanHustleLife that was filmed in los Angeles (2014). It was part of one of their missions of learning how to ‘self-promote’ by standing on the sidewalk trying to randomly invite people to their mini concert as well as learned from a few western artists under the supervision of coolio and warren g throughout the episodes before they performed at the end of the show with their debut songs “no more dream” and “we are bulletproof pt2” along with an ending encore to show what they’ve learned during the final episode.
9:01 😑It maybe weird to you but their LAST NAMES are called out first and FIRST NAMES are second, for example KIM (family name) and NAM-JOON (first name). *RM is his stage name which stands for “REAL ME” but some continue to think its short for RAP MONSTER / RAPMON but in fact he’s grown out of that name and this guide introduces the members in the order they joined BIGHIT and BTS; when they debuted their ages were 15-19 years old back in June 2013.* Since RM is the leader, he goes first then oldest to youngest.*
RM (28) - leader, middle member
    JIN (30) - oldest
    SUGA (30) - 2nd oldest, upcoming 30th bday but he’ll be going on a U.S Solo Tour
JHOPE (29) - he’s six months older than RM
JIMIN (27) - three months older than V but around the same age.

    JUNGKOOK (25) - youngest

He gave the guys more decision making power as they learned their craft. They learned producing.
RM has song writing credit on every album. He is a genius academically and as a lyricist.
He learned English by watching the American 80’s tv show FRIENDS. He is the only fluent English speaker.
Cypher 2 is Suga and RM’s response to Be Free the one mocking Suga and RM switching from the underground to K-Pop.
Suga was first hired as a producer, Bang asked him to join the group as a rapper. He told Suga he would not have to dance. A person can be a K-pop trainee for years before they ever debut. The standard contract initially is 7 years. K-pop focuses on performance. If a trainee is still school age they attend school then vocal dance etiquette lessons. They spend 12-14 hours each day. 28 days a month Training iif not attending class. As a trainee, you can not date, BTS #BTS

All they're saying is that within the concept of each music video or storyline he plays the main character...... So if they did a story about a homeless man then hed be the one acting as the homeless man, if they did a superhero theme then he'd play the superhero, if they did a story about fathers then he'd play the father in the MV lol thats all
Hes acting within the music videos

My recommendations for you for the remaining members to check out would be:
Namjoon (RM) - Do You, Wildflower, Still Life or Intro: Persona.
Jungkook (JK) - My Time On On:E Stage, Euphoria Live Performance in Osaka or Stay Alive (7 Fates of Chakho Webtoon) MV
Jin: Epiphany Live Performance in Osaka or Moon during the ON:E Live Performance
Taehyung (V) - Stigma or Singularity
BTS Live Performance where you can see how they perform & sing would be Dope, Baepsae, Fire & Run or Idol Melody in Seoul or Live Performance of “Magic Shop” or “So What”.

not sure which record you thought was mentioned twice, don't have time to scroll back, if anyone wants to clarify please do. if it was an itunes #1 in 100 countries, i thought one mention was regarding the fastest accumulation, and the other one was the most tunes on his mixtape that hit #1's in 100+ countries or something like that?

I hope you don't regret not listening to the musics used in that video😂, They have more music for your reaction to do just in case, it's ok if you listens to it.
