Altho I feel sad that they're going to the military, I'm not feeling empty coz there's so many content and knowing Bighit, they'll be releasing more and more to keep us entertained while the guys are gone. I used to think 2025 is too far away, but we are already halfway 2023. And the members keep in touch a when they get a time off too. I've made it a personal goal to collect all their albums while they're gone. And saving up to travel in case they hold a world tour (I'm guessing my country won't be included again so I'll come to them this time lmao).

I will for SURE be saving money for their comeback concert because I'm determined to see them perform live again, but this time with my mom who has never seen them live, except when she saw Yoongi live for the Agust'D concert.
1:16:31 I remember being part of this. Everyone was scrambling and trying to spread the word to meet the goal. It was hectic but fun. Sucks that the organization turned out shady but BTS' and ARMYs' intent was goodhearted.

36:00 as the oldest, he was the first to enlist on December last year. He's now an instructor in his base, job position not many soldier trainees can do, since it requires strength, discipline and hard work. He got that in him 150%. He had a rank bump recently too.
J-Hope got in in April and after the 5week mandatory training, he became an instructor as well, you can see why with their 2 short profiles here ;)

Really enjoyed your reaction. Side note; Their ages are off by 1-2 years due to Korea having a different age system that just changed last week. JK was actually 13 when he joined the group and that is why he told the guys thank you for raising me. Suga would work extra side jobs to bring money in to help pay for his meals other things for the other members. The guys have actually been together longer than 10 years as well. RM and Suga lived together since 2010 and then the rest of the members started joining. V and Jimin went to high school together and have a closer relationship with each other because of that plus they are both 95 (the year they were born) and why sometimes you will hear the word soulmate when it comes to them too because they are best friends and can read each other easily. BTS lived in that one bedroom apartment for a few years and then were given the option to move out on their own but they decided to stay together and got a bigger apartment where once again they lived there for another few years. They once again had the option to move out on their own but once again decided to stay together till 2021 when they finally got their own homes. I think has been key to them being super tight plus how they resolve their issues. They are brothers who love, support and defend each other. No other group is like that. There is no jealousy or competition energy amongst them. They actually help each other out in their solo projects. The more you dive in, the more you learn about them. How can you not respect and love them. They give us so much hope to keep pushing because there is light at the end of the tunnel . If you want to learn more, check out these videos. I think Korea went to international age the end of June, so every one got a year yunger. So the year they were born is accurate.
@@eileencullinan2936 never said the year they were born. It’s about when JK says he was 15 when he joined but he truly was 13. There are clips where they are asked how old they are and they look at RM and he tells them to give their international age so not to confuse people.
Im just reading what Taylor put on the screen. It said he signed at 13 and debut was 2 years later when he was 15.. I saw what he said in the clip ,which is confusing.

Bang Si Hyuk is a genius. He was able to see the talent in this boys then he is also an amazing producer. Kudos to "PDNIM" for putting together this joy to us. Kudos to Taylor aways. The tiny guys are called Tiny Tans and then they have some characters BT21
There is so much BTS content. They really paved the way for the younger idol groups...ie Stray Kids, when it comes to online content. If it weren't for them, SKZ code, SKZoo, etc. and similar content from other groups would probably not exist. (Fun fact - Lee Know was once a backup dancer for BTS and you can catch glimpses of him in some of their stage performances). There are a lot of things that are missing from this intro now that it's a year old. Jin and Jhope are now serving their mandatory military time (18 months minimum) with the others to follow soon. They got matching tattoos (only Jimin and JK were members that already had tattoos), and they released an anthology album in June of last year "Proof" that included a few new songs, the vocal line (Jin, Jungkook, V & Jimin) had a song with Benny Blanco & Snoop Dog released ("Bad Decisions"), J-Hope released his solo mini album "Jack in the Box", played Lalapalooza, and had a single collaborating with J-Cole ("Hope on the Streets") before his enlistment, Jin released a solo in collaboration with Coldplay ("The Astronaut") as a gift to ARMY before his enlistment, RM has featured on several songs (Balming Tigers' "Sexy Nukim" and Colde's "Don't ever say love me"), released his solo album "Indigo" and seems to be working on another album? before he starts his military enlistment, Suga produced and featured on Psy's "That That", released his solo album "D-3" and has been touring (he will serve a different type of enlistment due to a long-term injury that prevents him from serving like the others), Jimin released his mini-album "Face" (enlistment TBD), Jungkook had a single with Charlie Puth ("Left and Right") that was released last year and something to be released in a few days from now ("7") and V's stared in a few reality shows with some of his friends/Hwarang castmates, and his album will be released sometime soon (TBD), then the rest of the guys will enlist with the hope of reuniting in 2025. So many other things (brand endorsements, government appointments, etc.) have happened too that it's way too much to remember/write down, but these are the highlights.
Facts that some still cannot accept even up to these days. Some are still in denial. Many artists are looking up to them and most of them even said BTS did paved the way but BTS being humble beings said that it's all because of every group's hardwork but still they did open the gateway for others to promote more outside SK.

60 year old army ex academic. BTS ARMY comes from all age groups and walks of life. They are special and it's good to see reactors respecting their work, talent and characters. They stand for a lot and there is no group that ticks all the boxes yet remains humble and sincere to their craft and their fans. Each and everyone deserves love and respect. We may have our biases but OT7 is the best.
Lowkey got emotional watching this. I've been ARMY since 2018 and am so eternally greatful to these boys. They have taught me so many life lessons. They were the first k-pop group that i stanned. I am missing them so much while they are on this break and all going off for their military service. Once you're in it, you're in it for life with them. Let's continue to support our boys forever. You did a great job of carefully going through the video, probably the best I've seen. I'm a 72 yo artist in California who started down this rabbit hole in early 2019, watching a ton of BTS content. At my age, I get concerned about the future world my grandkids will grow up in, but BTS has given me hope with their incredible positivity and global influence. You have a great positive attitude as well!

They didn't even disclose their donations, sometimes the info just got leaked or released by the media. This video also showed the side of ARMY that people don't talk about often, the good ones. 💜
BTS has worked harder than anyone I know. Their discography is over 300 songs. Then add in the solo work they're doing now. Their collaborations are numerous (Warren G, Snoop Dogg, Nicki Minaj, Lil Nas X, Wale, J Cole, the Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki, Desiigner, Halsey, Charlie Puth, Juice WRLD, Coldplay, etc...).
After they finish their mandatory military service they will reunite as a group in 2025. 💜 Borahae.

BTS is a 7 member group who is now in their 10th year with a 350+ track discography largely written and produced by the members themselves conjoined by their inhouse producers. The leader 'RM' has 210+ credits making him the youngest most credited artist in Korea and the rest of the members are not far behind. BTS is known for being extremely profound at articulating what they introspect and composing it into the sound they with their artistic knowledge believe will deliver the emotion of their lyricsm. They began with their roots in hiphop but have experimented their way into currently having above 10+ genres in their discography with the main being hiphop, pop, r&b and electronic, but majority of the time its a fusion of these genres, or their subgenres. Like latin pop, old school hiphop with boom bap, rap rock, dance pop, ballads, emo hiphop, jazz etc. Since they articulate so well, their music is very human oriented adressing extreme mental health issues (all they way from comforting, motivating, to eery delivery with raw mvs that youtube asks for viewers discretion), sociopolitical commentary etc. Their discography shows the growth from school boys to the tribulations of youth, to addressing temptation, to reaching maturity, to loving onself, to finding the core essence of the mind (i work in the field of psychology and i have yet to find an artist that is as profound as bts in accurately potraying psychological themes) to fighting the pandemic to now doing solo albums as each of the bts members complete their mandatory military. They will come back as a group in 2025!
I loved spending this almost 2 hours with you. You read every caption and totally immersed yourself in this beautiful story of our BTS. People who laugh about K-Pop should give themselves an hour to just watch this. The guys have nothing but exceptional messages about life. When they say ARMY are all ages it’s true. From young people to us older folks. I’m 65 but there are 70, 80 plus adults and we adore BTS. They cross all boundaries from age, sex, genre, language, and cultures etc. take your time getting to know them so you don’t burn yourself out. After all, they’re on an 18 month break due to Korean mandatory Military duty. They’ll come back together in 2025 so you’ll have plenty of time. Getting tickets is hard. They sell out stadiums in 3-5 minutes even for a 3 day concert. Their largest arena was 90,000 people. Stadium numbers are closer to 80,000. People fly in from all over the world to watch their concerts. Well anyway welcome to BTS World. We’re happy to have you and I’ve subscribed because I don’t want to miss your journey with us! I love how he said that J-hope and jimin were the top two when in came to looks in his opinion because j-hope would receive backlash for not fitting beauty standards. He made up his mind purely based on seeing their personalities and smiles and I loved that. 💜

Jimin is such a pure person, once he started crying and embarrassed himself for making two mistakes in a performance, it shows how different he sees himself from everyone else. If that had happened to another member, he would have told him that it's no big deal and completely normal, but he's so strict with himself🥺💜

Currently BTS has around 1000 awards and counting. Today all members speak English and Japanese. Jin spends his life eating to help Armys with eating disorders Jin also plays the guitar and piano. Jin's fun fact: He made the song Super tuna in 2 hours.
V also plays the piano.Jungkook also has a black belt in taekwondo
Jung Kook was 13 years old when he became a trainee. He came to Seoul on April 24, 2011. Age in Korea is calculated considering pregnancy as the period of life. Therefore, in Global age JK was 13 years old and in Korean age he was 14. Jin took him to and from school every day.

I have not read through all the comments, but I am sure everyone has mentioned that the guy in the end with Jimin was RM. You just didn’t recognize him in that clip. JK was actually around 14 when he joined because the Korean age and the international age is slightly different. So when he says 15, he was actually closer to 14. At any rate, he was very very young.
I hope you get thoroughly immersed, and enjoy your journey with BTS and Army! Their discography is well over 300, especially when you add the solo projects. There will no doubt be songs that you are not as fond of, but that is just fine. Not everyone likes every song!

The color purple story was actually made up on the spot by V. The color purple doesn’t actually have that meaning, but for V it did, and now it does for Army. What prompted him to tell that story was that all the light sticks in the audience were covered with a purple film. If I remember correctly, to signify unity, beauty, a field of flowers. I’m sure someone on here was there, and could verify the story better.

I have been an army since 2016 and I started loving myself after them
There’s SO MUCH BTS content you may go sleepless for days AND Kdramas is a whole different animal… my 1st Kdrama 2021 I watched Tale of the Nine Tailed and got hooked on Kdramas and while looking on UA-cam for info on tale of the Nine Tailed came across BTS - car karaoke- and the rest is history for me with BTS… I LOVE all 7 of them, 1st was RM, then JIN, now my bias is SUGA, but they’re all wreckers… I have 17 BTS cd albums and solo cd albums… never been to one of their concerts, probably never will be able to - cost wise, distance and too many people - social introvert🤣… I’ve seen PTD concert on Disney - absolutely blown away -- and saw the BUSAN concert online day of and on prime video…. They are just AMAZING… They make me smile, laugh, happy and cry… I’m 64yo, my son calls me a fan girl, I guess I am and will be (BTS) FOREVER I still have a lot more BTS content to watch, it’s never ending 💜💕🫶🏼🫰🏼💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

I remember early 2014 i think. My mom get mad because i keep buying posters of bts and watch their videos. Now after how many years i got surprised my mom ordered online some bts merch and gifted to me with or without celebration/occasion and her listening to their songs also.
I am a bored now 63 year old. Been Army since 2014. Honest to God I have seen and read everything. Every question you had I was shouting through my phone I wanted to teach you everything I know! They saved me after my mother died and there are many of us that feel that way. BTS connects like no one else. You literally love them and cry with them through good and bad. I had been a Kpop fan before but BTS was more than music.
