What a cool ring! Good for you! I had no idea they even made replica rings for fans to buy. I'm not even a huge sports fan, but I always dreamed of having a big ole honking ring like that lol. Thanks for sharing.
I was ecstatic when the Chiefs came back and beat the Bills in the Divisional Playoff Round a week ago in probably the greatest football game I’ve ever seen (13 seconds to drive into position to kick the tieing field goal to send the game into OT where the Chiefs won), then sick to my stomach when the Chiefs gave the game away this past weekend to the Bengals when they were initially up 21 to 3 in their 4th consecutive AFC Championship Game. All I can say is that you never know what may happen in life and I’m so thankful I bought this Jostens Ring as a permanent family keepsake to always remember that for at least that one season, no one was better in football than the Kansas City Chiefs. 😃
Thats really cool im a Steelers fan and for Christmas yesterday my parents got a set of all 6 Replica Super Bowl rings and they are awesome i want to wear one in public just to see if anyone says anything to me
I own the replicas too Yeah people always look at them although I have owned them for 3 years and keep them on the box to keep them nice and not wear them down
Raiders fan here. Jealous a bit that we're probably not gonna see a Super Bowl victory in my lifetime; but happy you own something memorable that you'll cherish. Glad you got your son one too. I'd maybe invest in a safe or somewhere else to keep the ring when you're not wearing it; it's almost like a flashing neon sign that says "STEAL ME".
Ironically, the Raiders (i.e. the old Oakland Raiders), are my second favorite team. I'm old enough to remember them winning Super Bowls XI, XV, and XVIII. I even met Ben Davidson, and Ken Stabler when I was younger. I'd like to see the Raiders do better. It's been a long time for them, but then again, I waited 50 years, until my Chiefs won their second Super Bowl; i.e. Super Bowl LIV. Before that, Super Bowl IV was a very very long time ago. And luckily, we just got another one. I'm enjoying things while it lasts as nothing ever lasts forever. :-)
It’s a beauty! I’ve been wearing it recently, especially since the Kansas City Chiefs just won another Super Bowl! I’m humbled and very lucky to own this special ring. GO CHIEFS!!! 😃🏈 🏆
This ring will belong to my son when I pass away. I let my son hold the ring in our basement from time to time. It is an expensive ring, however, and not a toy.
@@anthonycicala3424 Yeah I understand I actually have a authentic replica of the Patriots 2018 super bowl championship and my dad has a 85 Cutlas that he never lets me drive with 500 horsepower to the wheel but he lets me rev the engine every now and then
Hey Anthony. I'm looking to buy the Dodgers World Series Pro Elite ring, but im having issues with Jostens giving me accurate information. Do you know the exact weight in grams of the ring?
I'm not sure about the Dodgers ring, but its a very nice looking ring. My Kansas City Chiefs Limited Edition ring weighs in at about 69 grams, which is approximately 2 1/2 ounces of actual gold. With respect to weight, remember that the ring is hand crafted to be unique for each person, undergoes a beautiful polishing, especially if ordered in real gold, and will vary in weight and size based on each person's finger (some bigger and some smaller). From what I understand, the actual Kansas City Chiefs players/coaches rings are bigger, heavier, and a lot more expensive, because of the extra details (e.g. I've heard the Jostens video on UA-cam that says the players/coaches rings are approximately 100 grams, which would be huge! The actual players/coaches rings likely cost approximately four times as much as my ring (e.g. about $50k each). With respect to the Dodgers ring, my advice would be that if you truly love that ring, then buy it, and don't pass up the opportunity. I'd also recommend that you if you are able to, get it with real gold and genuine stones. The genuine article in person is even better than any video or picture could ever possibly do justice. Either way, it will be a keepsake that you will hopefully have forever, and I would tell you that although expensive as heck, I have absolutely no regrets with my purchase whatsoever. I'm giddy everytime I take it out of the box and have received lots of looks and compliments everytime I wear that ring. People can instantly tell its not some cheap fake. Hope this helps and beat of luck with your decision.
I asked Jostens a few simple questions. A) What is the cut, color, and clarity of the diamonds. B) What is the overall weight of the ring. Up to this point, I learned more from watching your video, then I have from speaking to Jostens representatives. If I'm paying top dollar for something, I want to know what I'm getting ahead of time. I understand there is a huge markup in the jewelry industry, but I just want to be in the know. I appreciate your feedback and the video.
@@TheRightFieldPavilion sure thing. I asked them the same questions before I purchased my ring, so completely understand. I was told that for my ring, clarity is "SI" (they didn't say SI1 or SI2), and color is G/H. I don't recall what was said for "cut" but I'm sure it's very good. I bought a nice jewelers loop with different magnification levels that also has a UV light in addition to a regular white light, so I can see what stones flouresce. I also know that carat weight is about a total of two carats for my ring. They also said same quality as the actual players ring, so I know its a really top notch ring. But truthfully, some of the diamonds are so incredibly tiny that you would be hard pressed to really notice anything out of the ordinary, unless you were staring at it under high powered magnification. Otherwise, to the naked eye, it is most certainly a stunning ring. I agree that the mark up for genuine stones can be pretty ridiculously high, but I for one don't really care about any potential resale value as I did not buy my ring for that purpose. It was strictly a very special purchase only for me, and to be eventually passed down to my son. The craftsmanship that went into making the ring is outstanding. Hope this helps a bit and again, best of luck if you do decide to get your Dodgers ring.
If those were REAL jewels, that ring would be priced the same as the ACTUAL S.B. rings - somewhere in the upper 5 figure-range. Likely those are just high-quality replica stones.
The diamonds are real. The gold is 10k. The rubies in the KC and four on the side of the ring are lab created. The big red stone on top of the ring is synthetic.
Bullsh*t. The actual ring had 255 diamonds, plus synthetic stones, so if you have an exact replica, that would have cost between $35,000-$50,000, easily.
Nice Ring but they made a huge mistake The Chiefs and the 53 before them were Super Bowl Champions and will never be World Champions. A world championship is a international competition open to elite competitors from around the world, representing their nations, and winning such an event will be considered the highest or near highest achievement in the sport, game, or ability.
@@jamesandonian7829 Doesn’t excuse the arrogance of their position. It’s like Australian Football they are the best in the world but don’t call themselves World Champions.
There's no mistake, those other soft ass countries couldn't consistently compete with us in our football, they can't even really compete in basketball, that's why they would rather play us in a soft sport, because they're soft do we are world champs, until somebody wants to get this shit global
The diamonds are genuine. The rubies that make up the KC are lab created and individually cut into 16 total pieces just like the players ring, but they are still real. They are not Burmese rubies, however like the players ring. The red stone on top is synthetic, unlike individually cut Burmese rubies as previously mentioned. The bottom of the Super Bowl trophies are intentionally missing as Jostens cannot make an exact duplicate of the Super Bowl ring without violating NFL licensing rules. However, the ring is as close as possible to the actual player ring, although a tad smaller in size also, i.e. approx 85% of the size of the actual player ring. This ring is a special edition for fan purchase only. It costs about 25% of an actual players ring. It is personalized for each fan who buys one. As mentioned, only 142 will be manufactured then no more will be offered for sale. If you desire a player ring only, then this ring would not be for you.
