I like how you dive into anatomy, most channels just say: lift like this, to build x. U go into how/why it works, helps me to improvise when I don't have the necessary equipment. Thx, keep it up please!
Just want to say, I'm type 1 diabetic from the UK, England. I started doing the gym on & off a year ago, but since last October, started being consistent 3x a week. I even took up the services of a couple of sessions with a personal trainer at the gym & it just made me more inclined to give up than keep going. But I started to watch your video's & I have to say thank you. I quickly spotted some of the mistakes I was making, made adjustments & still felt I wasn't being confined to a routine of someone else's making by my own. It kept my gym workouts enjoyable & I felt good every time I finished. Although I didn't take up your workout program myself, I have recommended it to others who are in more dire need of help who have taken up your program themselves. So again, fantastic video's & keep up the amazing work you do. P.s. Is there any alternative to the inclined dumbbell press I could do on a machine, say on the Functional Trainer or something? It's just I've found that I can press weights I can barely get into position to do the workout. Thanks in advance :)
Amazing production quality and content Jeff! Also it's quite sad that you have to tell people to put gym equipment back after using it. I get an urge to do more facepulls whenever I see that.
I haven't seen your videos in a while (1 year). Glad you still give simple explanations with a bit of humor. 💪 Edit: no markers this time? Sad, I'll wait for the next video
I LOVE this new video format where Jeff shows himself doing the workout directly after explaining it. Does anybody know the name of the rock music that plays over his demonstration clips?
Jeff. I am only a couple weeks younger than you and have trained on and off (more on than off) since I was 13. I have learned so much since subscribing to your channel nearly 2 years ago. From my mid 30s to early 40s, I lost all of my gains from my high school college years from stupid/careless training and poor nutrition. I've had a multitude of injuries over the years the worst of which was herniating my l4/l5 in sept 18. After clearing 3 months of PT at the end of 2018. I went back to the gym, and thanks to the post-therapy workout plan my PT gave me and largely to your workout videos I have regained a lot of my pre-injury strength and put on 15 lbs of muscle I lost and I haven't had any more injuries and minimal aches and pains. I am actually lifting somewhat heavy again. At least my upper body. I can't do full back squats with much weight, but I can leg press 545 lbs for a few reps (much prefer the Bulgarian split squats though). Your videos are not only informative but have taught me to be more analytical about my training and consistent and diligent with eating clean. I am born again thanks to your videos. My one request...please write a Athlean X Training encyclopedia or several books comparable to Arnold's. I'm old school.
Working out every day doesn't mean anything. Jeff is using his body the way god intended giving it life. Sitting down, not moving, or boredom is a weak but body.

Hey Jeff, first of all thank you for everything you do! My question is how can I build my shoulders in the most effective way? I watched your shoulder videos and I've been doing the workouts but I still have trouble widening my shoulders... If you have any tip it would be very much appreciated!
And if lateral raises dont work, try going slower and maybe doing 1.5 reps meaning go up all the way then go down only half the way and then up again and after that go down all the way and thats one rep
@SpiritWolf2K that's the thing, I'm obviously doing something wrong which is why it isn't working. My question isn't just about a new exercise, someone could elaborate on common mistakes people do.

You can also thicken the muscles in your wrist area too. Forearm curls also called wrist curls, reverse forearm curls/reverse wrist curls, hammer wrist curls and reverse hammer wrist curls. Those will hit all four directions the wrist moves in, it works and compliments the forearm nicely and makes it look full all the way through.
I heard somewhere that if you take any supplements like Whey or anything that's not dangerous in anyway , that your body loses the ability to get proteins from foods because your body is used to getting higher concentrated protein and when you eat normal food for proteins the body cannot utilise the proteins.... Someone please answer it because I am going to start my fitness journey soon and I have this fear of whether or not to take supplements.....or give a thumbs 👍 up so Jeff see this comment and gives an answer
Supplements are just that, supplements. Jeff will tell you the foundation for good nutrition is quality food, with additional supplementation when necessary. Besides, if that were true, then drinking soda would train the body to ignore fat, since fat is harder to get calories from. You see anyone advising people to lose weight by drinking soda?
I learn a lot when I watch your vids...I tend to geek out on anatomy, and take a ton of notes...so not only are you helping me level up, but I’m getting an education on the body. Hands down the best vids! Keep it up, Jeff!(and Jesse, with the comedy)

We bigfoots get big forearms by grabbing uprooting lots of small trees to clobber people who sneak into the woods
Most specific UA-cam comment ever
I really like how the editing and color grading of these vids have gotten so much better lately. Great job there!
He teased us with the markers but never actually drew in his arms :(
How to get jacked forearms: Rock climbing. It's always forearm day. Every. Damn. Day. :D
Ya but then you have to be a douchebag hippie. I just wanna train my forearms, not eat trail mix and listen to rap music
Or formula 1
@@alexxxender1258 what 😂😂
EveryDamnDayFitness??? Goddamn XD
@@hdjghasgaj He isn't wrong. Lots of douchebag hippies picking up that sport.
New lift ideas, amazing Jeff cutaway and quality humor. This video has it all.
When would you recommend training forearms? With biceps, on its own day, or something else?
VentusKey358 depends on the kind of split u have
I’d say every night. More reps and sets the better
I work out forearms as much as possible. But doing it in combination with biceps gives you a crazzzy pump
Wtf i literally just said "i need to work on my forearms"

Jsjsj Ssjsjsj I just said that shit too I’m watching this vid between sets at the gym lmao

I was in the middle of a forearm workout when this popped up
I was nervous to look at my forearm when he said “this is what a good forearm looks like”. but then I looked and thought “ nice”
Videos have never looked better and very entertaining while keeping it real. great job Jeff and team
And the Oscar goes to..... Jeff! For his performance of the "Boy is this hard!"-look during exercise demonstrations.
