As a 37 year old who still games, I’m forever thankful for being alive during the H2/H3 MLG days. Local LANs at friend’s houses, road trips across the country to MLG events, staying up all night playing ranked matches online….it’s something that younger people have no idea what they missed. H2/H3 are still the most memorable years I’ve ever had of gaming. This video takes me way back to those glory days!
That sounds like an amazing experience I was too young at the time but I grew up watching mlg halo and even just watching it was a great time. Being a halo pro would be like a dream come true I can’t even begin to imagine how crazy it was to be going on road trips with ur dudes to a Lan event 🔥🔥
Also in my thirties. It was like the golden era of gaming. So many good and bad memories for me across H1/H2. Gaming today really is nothing like that. So many stories I could tell!
Solid career Snipe. 2004-2007 Halo 2 online...definitely most fun gaming I've ever had. No job, no family stress. Most of my local friends played, made many more online.
One of the best to ever do it. Halo 3 at MLG was the golden age of Halo competitive gaming. The main stage, MLG broadcast and casting, sponsorships, Dr Pepper Ultimate Gaming House. I was rooting for Str8 Rippin 08-09. I spent countless hours playing Halo 3 online. Thanks for the entertainment and the memories. Best of luck on your future, wherever that takes you.
Hey Snipe you're a legend. Hearing you talk about MLG in 2008ish brought back a ton of memories for me since I remember watching all those clips with you and Str8 Rippin in college. I didn't play H2 online but H3 ranked with friends was definitely my favorite online gaming experience. I actually never thought I would get hard addicted to another game like I did in Halo 3, but then Apex came out and once I realized you could outplay people with positioning like in Halo I got hooked to this day. Seeing some of the OG Halo names in the Apex scene like you and Ghostayame and T2 helped a lot too. You were one of the reasons I became a TSM fan as well. Thanks for all the memories, looking forward to more through whatever new door you open ;)

I would never have gotten into competitive gaming if it weren’t for you. Truly, I remember watching my first ever Halo 2 tournament via VOD because you gave my brother the link and it cost money to tune in then. Appreciate your time in Halo so much. All things change over time, in with the new out with the old. People including kids and adults quit when things are no longer fun, been in management all my life and seen it go from fun work to work and then I’m out, seen it with friends and family too, friends kid doesn’t want to play the drums at 14 he’s a beast! Amazing drummer nope done, why? Because it’s a chore now. Nephew run’s further then any I have ever known quits running why? It’s a job not a sport. I get it, it was always a job but when the job is no longer fun you have people who leave. Been there done that, my parents always told me you only live once, be happy and do what makes you happy.

its sad to see you go, we love you snipe
Dam we lost another one :(
Will miss you in the halo scene Eric. One of the best ever. Good luck in Apex Legends you’ll kill it 🤘🏻
“Snip3down is on FIRE🔥!” Will forever be remembered by the real ones ❤️

I remember in the Halo 3 days when Halo Esports were actually good.
T2's Gaming Lessons, Snip3down, Elamite and TuLegit breaking Halo 3 down for us back in 2008 made me a fan for life. Thank you for the years of entertainment.

Halo let this happen. But the Apex community welcomes you back! Can't wait to see you back on the grind.
Snip3 and Roy and Lunch will always be my first true love.
Agreed, EG was the best team hands down. The end of an era. Wish you the best snipe! You were the only reason I still watched Halo comp.
