@@joiedefi Do you use Gouache paints? If so, is there a special way to use them? I just picked up so on sale and I’m not sure what they are used for.

I love how the words from the book page are very natural and match perfectly.... in the final bird journal card I saw the word reflections and love its juxtaposition with the birds and nature!

Many years ago, probably 15 years ago, I started making ATCs and Inchies and all sorts of paper things to swap. I bought a crop-a-dile, and bunches of several sizes and colors of eyelets. And brads. They went out of fashion and I didn't see any used for a long time, but now that they are coming back I am well stocked. My crop-a-dile is still in perfect shape and I am sure you will enjoy yours for a long long time. I love your birdie cards.

I love this, I haven’t been able to find my niche, but I think this might be it. I enjoyed watching Tina and now you. I’ve not found tags and journal cards easy to make, because of layering, but I love this, and you are very calming to listen to.
I don’t like messy fun, but I’m learning to enjoy it.
Since being taught tearing fussy cutting, it’s opened up a new world to me.

I really love how these turned out! I especially like how you add a little of your own artwork, just that little bit with the leaves really adds a lot, I think, and personalizes it so that no one else could have made it! It inspired me to make my own sets of cards and tags for my journals using your technique, with faces from a 1940s yearbook because I didn't have the birds! I have already learned so much from you, and I could listen to your voice all day. My husband hears your voice and asks, "Are you crafting with your friend?" So funny!

Hello! I just got a color printer and am really getting hooked on printing ephemera. I love the idea of grunging up the images before cutting them out. That seriously never occurred to me. I always just distressed the edges. I also hadn't thought of tearing them out even though I love tearing everything else. This is a fantastic idea video all around! Thank you so much for your video!

I love these! Can't wait to try my hand at this. I have some fat water color crayons (that I bought at a yard sale!) that I think I will work quite nicely. I want to try the leaves and maybe some flowers using the brush like you did to create leaf shapes only arranging them in a circle for petals. Ever since I learnt how to make these from u, i have made at least 30 bases and cut then shared them with others so they can collage them. Like a never-ending supply of tags and base pages. Love LOvE making them, u r a genius!❤

This is just what I need, as I’m doing a bird journal. 💕 they are fab. Yes I do use a crop o dile & it’s years old, the best tool I have bought. I would be interested in the eyelets you bought, as I have only used the wrmk eyelets, as I found out others didn’t work. Thank you Joie x
