Great explanation. This is made with the common square knot. I learned this style bracelet made out of string this morning. My 4 year old daughter wanted one so I made her one. I am still her hero!!! I never thought about making one out of Paracord for myself. Looks like I'll be off to the crafts store again tomorrow. Thanks for the video man. Send me some of that there orange cord.... Lol
Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! This was the best tutorial I could find and I am now wearing a rainbow version of what you just made. I found this like forever ago, but I wasn't using paracord and it was three in the morning. Now I'm used to being up 'till 11:30 in the morning and sleeping until 8 pm. So, at 4:22 I'm okay with this time and I used the right materials and yeah... SO THANKS!!! And if anyone wants to know how to make a braclet, I'm sending them your way. I hope you grow to be a teacher because you're good at it.
Excellent job explaining the very basics for those like me, who have zero experience with stuff like this. All the little extra tips and over explaining was very appreciatted ;) Jay
I've watched my share of paracord bracelet videos, and the method of starting and tying the weave is the most creative. the "C, over under and through" method is memorable and unique. Thanks.
Nice work, ideal of it's kind. Clear, simple, and the bit about what to do when you've left off and come back later has just saved my sanity. Excellent.
I struggled through many videos and was about to give up. I am deployed so I have very little resources to include any way to clamp or hold the rope down but I did a very small maybe keychain sized piece and it came out awesome. Maybe I'll try a longer one soon. THANKS!
Dude, who are you? Let me give you props, kudos and the best paracord tutorial video of the year! Why? because, I have watched numerous UA-cam videos on this subject but I could never follow. Your step by step was over the top, your voice is clear and easy to listen to, so thank you!
Thank you for actually explaining the weaving technique without a bunch of confusing nonsense! Mine was far too small though. I'm not sure what went wrong, my wrist is the same size as yours so I was able to use your exact measurements. I had to redo it and the inner part of paracord was wasted (not sure what to do with a less than 2 feet of cord) but it fits now that I added another extra inch.
Probably the easiest tutorial on the subject I've seen yet. Clean and well-illustrated, starting the novice off on a good foot. Four stars! Thank you for this help.
Great video! I used to make these all the time when I was deployed. I've been out for a while and forgot! You know what they say..."if you don't use it, you loose it" Thanx for sparking my memory again!
Thanks, this video was designed to help out people like me and you, for all those wanting to get in the world of knot tying and paracord manipulation. I am a firm believer in homemade things!
thanks for the video, it helped a ton. I don't have a jig, but after making two, one with buckle, one without, I don't really need the jig. Good instructions, thanks again
This is also great to make reins for horses , Thought you would love to know you helped me make my reins just made it much much longer with metal ring clips .. Thank You
Thank you so much for this tutorial. It has been the very best one yet. My 10 year old granddaughter is phenomenal at making these bracelets now all because of you. Thank you again
Thank you!!! I made my first paracord bracelet with the help of this video. The instructions are clear and help me understand the technique of making the knots. Again thanks.
I thank you soooo much for teaching how to do this so well and simple! Your visual is precise and shows us specifically how to do it!!! Your video is good. I been wanting to learn this for a long time but some people make their videos to fast and I have a sight deprivation and can't follow because they don't show it close up where you and actually see and follow. I have made two bracelets so far and one key chain! Thank you Tovamos!!!! P.s C over under and through ...is ingrained in my mind!!!!
This was so simple ! I just made a black and white bracelet (6") , then I cut it in half. Then made wings for my Eagle Top of my TOTEM POLE PROTOTYPE ! The next part will be the lower creature (Bear, snake, or wolf face). I am having fun with this. Hope to post pictures of the TOTEM POLE when I finish. Thanks again !
I have just started paracording and this video was so very helpful! Thank you so much! Much easier to understand than the book I bought!! Thanks so much!
I'm a glassblower of 15+ ... the "soot" nastiness is actually the unburnt butane in the flame hence the orange color ... you've proved an awesome point of how a mix of oxygen makes for a much cleaner, hotter flame. Thnx for sharing, it's appreciated 8)
Watched a pile of vids for this technique... your explanation is the best so far. Can you do one to show how to put this style of braid onto zippers etc for pull tabs. I realize its pretty much the same technique - but a pic is worth a 1000 screw ups. Great explanation.
Great video. I was able to make one for my son as I was watching the video. I was done at the same time as you were. (I did watch once before so I had a little head start.)
Hey man, I've been wanting to make one of these for two years and finally got around to it using your video. It turned out absolutely perfect. Great video. Thanks a bunch man.
awesome video it's easy to understand what you're saying and I made my first out of a kind of cotton nylon and works very well I just wish I knew how to do this in high school because I tend to sell things I make. and now my bro wants me to teach him.
For my "board", I use artist easels. The top and bottom bar are used for holding the painting surface in place while you paint. I screw eyelet wood screws in the top and bottom. Then I'll tie a "male" buckle to the top and female to the bottom just to make it faster to put the bracelet buckles at the right length. I also make on the easel itself to show where to put the picture holders so I have the bracelet at the correct length instead of using a tape to measure everything. On the drawer, I have drawn a 12" ruler so I can pull cord and measure it. O also put to 1/2" pvc pipes on the front of the legs down below so I can hold rolls of cord and keep them handy. I guess I should make a video of just how I made that thing and some of the tools I use.
Good tutorial! I was converting those measurements to cm and I noticed that (in case you don't have a ruler) the span of your hand from the tip of the pinky to the tip of the thumb (when stretched) is roughly the circumference of your wrist. With that in mind, you use 2 "hand spans" and some change for the first piece of paracord and 14 "hand spans" for the second piece of paracord. Might make it easier for some people. Of course this only works if you're weaving a bracelet for yourself.
I'm sorry I fell asleep in class.. 😃🤣 it won't happen again but I am grateful of your knowledge and wisdom.. TY for the show and if anyone of you want to hang by the bonfire and dip in the creek..
Yes it is! But some people like it explained to them, rather than just "tie a knot here, here, and here." But you're absolutely right in that its just a simple not. Kuddo points for you.
I had a stroke about a year ago and the doctor told me to take up a hobby to to try to get the use of my hands back. When I started I didn't have a jig. I was looking around to find what to make a jig with. I did not have any lumber, I know sounds strange but I don't. What I did find was a wooden cribbage board. I checked the measurements and unless you have monster wrists I think you will find the predrilled holes will meet most wrist sizes. What I did was take a couple small but long finishing nails wrapped with some electric tape to stop the cord from slipping. Good luck! I hope this helps with your problem about a jig for now until you can make a custom one. Brian {Gramps} Cuthill Lethbridge, Alberta, Canada
That's a great way to do it! I'm just like Jay SonyAlphaLab, I have zero experience as well! It's a great skill though because if you get lost in the wild, and you have a paracord bracelet, it's a lot easier to make shelter because paracord is super strong and durable. You can also use it for fishing if you are lost. But that's another video. Lol! Thanks For The Vid!

This is the best, easiest-to-follow instruction video I have found for making these bracelets. Very clear instructions and good visuals. Thank you!
I've watched my share of paracord bracelet videos, and the method of starting and tying the weave is the most creative. the "C, over under and through" method is memorable and unique. Thanks.
the best and most simple video, actually one that i can understand, i made my first one in 12 minutes thank you so much!
There are so many videos on how to do this, but this is by far the best one I've seen.
Nice work, ideal of it's kind. Clear, simple, and the bit about what to do when you've left off and come back later has just saved my sanity. Excellent.

So easy. You did an excellent job. My son and I have never made one of these and did it in less that 20 mins for our first one. Thanks for sharing!

After 6 videos I found this one. The BEST/EASIEST. THANK YOUUU.
i watched about a dozen vids and yours was the easiest to follow thanks
this was a great way to get started on para cord bracelets. Simplistic enough not to intimidate the beginner.
You are a very good instructor. Very easy to follow.
thanks for the video, it helped a ton. I don't have a jig, but after making two, one with buckle, one without, I don't really need the jig. Good instructions, thanks again

Thank you!!! I made my first paracord bracelet with the help of this video. The instructions are clear and help me understand the technique of making the knots. Again thanks.
Informative video. My daughter was nine and she understood your directions over the diagrams in an $8 craft book!

Thank You sooooo much for making this video! It helped a lot!
Excellent. Great, well explained. Thank you.
rlly helped a lot better than other videos
LOVE the simple instructions. I used a carabeaner, a padlock and a hanger as my jig.
Can you make a video with adding on buckles, please?
