So Cal has an advantage early season because they get to rehearse outdoors. I think it’s silly to say that So Cal will sweep this early, considering that every year they have an early season advantage and you’re comparing to a video where MCM sounds pretty good
It has always been like this. Early season the So Cal have always been cleaner for the start, but the east will eventually catch up. Being able to practice outside definitely helps.
@@clarksummers4514 Huh? That's ridiculous. Was the show held at a prison? You guys are the opposite of SoCal. At the shows in SoCal, literally hundreds of people watch the world class lot. Then just before the world classes in the gym, those hundreds swarm into the gym. Happens at every show with no problems. It's expected. Our best video guys (george collins, rbass311) only record the lot and not the shows.
@@psmith7226 I think it was for this first school given how big it was but I’m not sure. It’s my first time going to their local shows, but I know that my local high school circuit allowed people to be on the lot. I’ll have to get back to you when I am able to go to their next local competition One factor to why they said I couldn’t go watch the lot could be that I arrived really early when the winter guard were still going and they might’ve thought that I meant I wanted to watch them. I’ll have to read up on the rules and see.

Cannot agree less! I think props have their place, it just depends how you use them. At the end of the day, props do not determine whether the drill writing was lazy or not, nor creative or not. That's on the staff to put together a good product

I can agree but we’ll never know till that last day at Dayton but I will say Im surprised at how well monarch is doing so far compared to other years.

Unfortunately there is no lots videos for MCM, their hosts won’t let people to be able to go see them in the lot

Weather conditions prevented the lot from happening. SCGC warm up zones are usually behind closed doors.

props work well for indoor but there needs to be an anti prop movement for dci lol
