Join me as I take the Awesome Tamiya VQS 2020 4WD RC Buggy for its First Run, Running Max10 ESC, 4000kv motor on 2s. This is an Epic RC, and I know I went really hard on it but I knew this would be the only time I ran it before it went on the shelf. It is a stunning looking RC. Hope you enjoy this RC Video and thanks for tuning in.

One of the best handling Tamiya buggies
I agree, I was really impressed.
Big 👍 for you friend 🤜🤛🆒😊.
Cheers Pal. Welcome to the channel.
cool buggy and awesome run brother
Cheers Duke.
Everything has to be broken in? Sure you said that to me 😂😉
lol 😍
Hi Paul, you just can’t keep such a capable RC on the self! It’s got wheels and a motor and was born to be wild ! And in typical Paul Fulton RC fashion, you’ve made yours insanely fast with you preferred brushless setup. Looks awesome out there. Take care, keep well and all the best to you and Steph. 😉😊😉
Cheers John. Just a pity It got so beat up 😀
Sitting here watching the video working on EREVO 2.0 getting it ready for the big snow. VQS looks awesome with the driver figure you put in. Ran good as per your usable motor ESC combo. Nice to see you running it hard. Until shit i broke the chassis. Then here comes Steph with the mic drop laugh. I dropped my screwdriver laughing at that. Curious to see how long to you can get the replacement parts. Great video.
LOL cheers Robert. I have found all the parts I need on Ebay. £70 including new body. Then it is going on the shelf for a year Maybe. May cost more to repair once I strip it. Man it was fun. I really new to run the Top Force EVo but I can not bring myself to muck it up... Thanks for tuning in Pal.
@@FullOnRC still waiting on the Top Force here ugh
That poor Vanquish 😂
Yerhhhh Pretty much LOL.
Really cool video, yeah shame the chassis broke, but that's part of the rc game.
Yerhh for sure, Looking forward to the repair TBH. Thanks for tuning in Pal.
I've got basically the same setup in mine I've just built. How did the diffs hold up? Seemed to go pretty well! 😎👍🏼
N.p what's so ever but the chassis got pretty beet up in the end. The gearbox isn't the issue its the chassis that's weak.
@@FullOnRC Yeah, I saw those cracks at the end... You drove it pretty hard though!
Dang the vanquish looked really good! It's a shame the chassis cracked it was doing really good I was surprised the chassis cracked, Maybe you can make something to beef up the new chassis and make it stronger other than that it took it real good.
Yerhhh I was surprised but it did take a few hard hits on the back before I got the hang of it, £70 to repair. Chassis, wheels, body, decals and a few other bits. Enjoyed this video though. It was such a blast to push around.
So could you share which Lipo you were able to fit in the VQS before I start hacking mine... thanks lol.
These are what I use. www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08GYG8PGG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
@@FullOnRC Thanks bro!
How did you get the avante driver mounted ?
You just use the hole in the top on the VQS cockpit and it lines up.
My VQS is going the same way with the paint. Not sure I want to run any more pre painted bodies.
Yerhhh I'm considering making this a shelf queen once repaired, but what is the point in having a RC if you don't run it. Found all the spares I need on Ebay which is good, Pricey thought. Thanks for tuning in.
You can pick up the chassis fairly cheaply. Shame Tamiya didnt beef up the plastic from the original Vanquish in 88. Back in the day of just nicads and brushed motors the chassis could handle it, but not with lipos and brushless motors of today.
Yerhh found all the parts, want to get a new pre-painted body to to get it back to fully looking good too.
Modelbuild have the chassis and bodyset in stock at the mo with 20% off deal running as well.
@@MrMelton77 20% off, is that one the website?
@@FullOnRC on the website. 20% applied at checkout exc kits and new orders though. Was up on the Avante, Vanquish and Egress FB page yesterday.
@@MrMelton77 Nice one, I aint seen much of these guys, bought a few things off their ebay, but some parts never came, doing a refund with Royal mail atm, they have some good prices, have to put the VQS repair on hold for a while as I have just repaired my PC so money is tight. Added their page to my favorites and they beat modelsport on a lot of prices, will deffo use them soon.
Awesome run that stinks the chassis broke
Yerhhh took it pretty well TBH. I really need to get my Top Force EVO out soon.
Loads of sympathy off the missus 😂
I know right, It's because she smashed the Super Hotshot and it cost about £15 to repair, and I smashed mine and it's about £70 to get right LOL.
Haha typical Vanquish still breaking in the same place 30 years later, everyone knows you don't jump one if you don't want it to break or you get the metal upgrade parts.
Yerhhh I knew it had a reputation of being a weak RC. I did run it pretty hard though and it was defiantly worth it 😀
