I’m sorry, but I hate how the younger generation thinks out of tune piano loops are cool.

I’m sorry, but I hate how the older generation is closed-minded and feels the need to shit on other people’s art.

@@UnconsciousChanting It’s not about being close-minded, it’s about things sounding right together sonically. This video was about blending different things together, and my thoughts are that they do not mesh well together because parts are clearly out of tune

The art of sample search and sample dragging. So you invent a game, but you can google the answer during the show? Thats no fun or a challenge.
No matter if you are old or new generation. Sooner or later you will realize creativity comes from limitation.
Creators today need infinite ready to go samples to be ‘inspired’?
      Because they got writers block?
      I call BS.
They are depressed and need dopamine hits so they can believe for a short moment their creative talent is still there.
When in reality they still have to learn how to be creative and are suffering choice anxiety.
So they invent games that tell you what samples to search for. Seriously. think about it.
You want to be creative and unique? limit yourself and curate your personal taste with intention.
I used samples in my Akai s3000 , so I guess that makes me old. But even today, when I find a interesting sample that inspires me I drop it into a granular touch based app like Samplr or Spacecraft and spend some quality time with that sample. It deserves it.
Or challenge yourself to build a full track with just 1 sample.
Pick 8 one shot samples in a kit first. Now do this same game 20 times with the same kit. And add more music genres. Finger drum your parts unquantified.
Limitation and constraint is all you need to be creative. Infinite options will make you depressed and turn you into a emotional sample pack eater, subscriber, hoarder stuck in a prison of infinite choice, and your cell mates are all exact clones of yourself. Good luck.
