You can never ever ever have enough. your like me, forever tinkering. I'm currently making an air quality sensor for my sim rig room as I'm sure the heat and dust is giving me breathing issues, especially over extended periods of time. I'm also making it to check humidity and temp and then have that info displayed on my YT vids, and will mount it to my home made button box so at least its in the same vicinity of my racing environment. Think it would be cool 😃
I've spent about 6000$ over the last 5 years on my homemade simrig with thrustmaster and mods for xbox and many hours of plannning, building tweaking etc. And yet i'm only getting started as I see it. The problem for me is time, money and space. I love my family and accept it, but I would really want to have the opportunity to buy a pc and a real DD quality setup. Maybe in about 10 years when the kids are grown up and moved out it can be done. Until then i just use what i have and enjoy watching you and others and really appreciate that you share everything and take the time to make all these quality youtube videos. Thanks a lot 👍

Finally got my monitors perfectly aligned and bezel free kit works perfectly. Dont forget what i said, you can go negative on the bezel in iracing just play around with the number in the triple screen set up part in the graphics settings, dan Suzuki has a video showing how he added negative bezels just search his bezel free kit video. So now i have to build this lol. My rig is looking amazing thanks too you, next part making the netting and roll cage door panel 😁 Thank you for more ideas. I like ur setup the best of al the content makers cos u used imagination and cleverness , and ur hands to put it together. Not just throwing a ton of cash for the biggest monitors and so on.
I am amazed how every single time i watch one of your videos i see something new... some little detail of something you created. And it inspires me to take my setup that much farther. I dont have a center button box but rather a pad. But I am considering a setup similar to yours... a small center display that can provide other telemetry. also it appears to me that your netting is now connected slightly higher? What is amazing from the videos is its hard to discern where the monitors end... and where the physical parts begin.
Nice one👍I got a 3D-printer this week (the idiot-proof Anycubic Viper👌), learned a bit FreeCAD (the difficult part😝) to design stuff and finished my suspension-prints today and some cable-binders for aluminium profiles. Probably more to come😀 I want that my rig feels as suspended as a car because it feels more natural especially with shakers and my GS-5/G-Belt since pure telemetry can feel a bit too digital (ACC is horrible in this term). I found great and cheap springs similar to valve-springs, but it's even possible to print alternatives with flexing material like TPU. The hole suspension is a bit stiffer than I thought, more like a formula-car (I guess) and I maybe add some softer dampers to it to get some roll.

After 20 years of sim racing, I gave up on these gadets. No matter if triple monitor or 3d projector or or ... you sit in your own apartment with a lot of clutter around you. But if I put on VR glasses, I suddenly find myself sitting in a car far away from home. I only buy stuff that makes sense in VR. Wind simulator, pedal vibration ectect .... The journey continues but in a different direction.

From the speedometer to the handbrake, everything has grown over the years. Exactly as it is for you. I even had a five monitor setup about 15 years ago. Long before the Triple Age. 3 interconnected Pc ectect. Just totally cool. Crazy. But when I drove for the first time about 5 years ago with a stupid self-made TrackIR & SmartPhoneVR setup. I was speechless hypnotized. Since then, every effort has only flowed towards the touch with me. And when I bought a real Oculus for the first time ... well! In his rig tour videos there some good shots of the rig that are more “behind the scenes” and you can gather some information there, but not everything
The problem is , every time I attach something I improvise and then is hard to take even photo after covering! Basically I have one 40mm aluminum frame between the P part of the rig for the wheel and the P part of the shifter place in diagonal! Then I have attached all those different parts separately with whatever corners I have available and after covering the empty spaces with cardboard alcantara all the mess is hidden and just looks nice !

I have a question for you.. 3 screens setup are always push forward as one of the best way to be realistic as a simulator should be.. but as you already race in real rally cars, do you really have the possibility to look at your side and rear mirrors? I mean, in racing cars due to the head restraints on the seat, do you really have the possibility to look around as we you have now with your triple screen setup? Just asking as I never had a possibility to go in a real race car before :)
With helmet and Hans to 30 degrees rotation I can turn just enough to see my right window and see the apex but a have to fully turn my eyeballs too ! Is about the same vision with the sim 😁 I have seen so photos catching me on tide corner and I had to laugh with the faces of my co-driver and me 😂

Hi buddy! I shut 5.3k and than post in 4k on UA-cam ISO Min 100 Max 200 60 FPS and shatter speed 120 The GoPro settings are the easy part and the important part is the lightning with those settings! My games are at maximum brightness and I have big studio light with sof box and grid to not spill the lights over the screens ! The rig itself is from JCL to be faster and I have put some extra aluminum frames to attach the different gears and boxes and covered every empty spaces with cardboard paces dressed in alcantara buddy!
I use the aggressive presets or the wet presets and never bothered with the settings on ACC ! Some cars really sucks like the Ferrari with those settings and my favorite is the McLaren behavior! You are absolutely right with the understanding and I have to adapt my driving stile to make those cars turn in under braking 🤔 most of those just want to go straight! I use this sim for fun only and content and I’m sure my times sucks buddy 😂

Thx for the kind words Elliot 🤛 Unfortunately this model is with HDMI only and use usb for power! There are other screens which can do that trough usb only with lower resolution which is not problem at all in this size 😁

@@vividpsychosis8222 haha , I use 3 self powered usb3 hubs with 5 usb channels each 🤭 The fourth screen is attached to the Graphics card as well as I use all 3 monitors in DP ports but I also use second PC and use there 3 extra monitors and can run Z1 program trough online 😁

Well not really 😃 I have spent probably 15k on all this which is not that much I believe over the last 7 years ! I’ve been racing rally’s before and a weekend costed 3k roughly in middle class cars and that’s just to race 100km stages ! This here is way cheaper 😁

For the alcantara, I will share link but if you want to replace the alcantara of your wheel grip , this is not the correct one !
That is for cosmetic parts only !
For the wheel you may need real alcantara and stick it yourself!

Can you show how you attach everything to the rig?
Really good!!
In his rig tour videos there some good shots of the rig that are more “behind the scenes” and you can gather some information there, but not everything
The problem is , every time I attach something I improvise and then is hard to take even photo after covering!
Basically I have one 40mm aluminum frame between the P part of the rig for the wheel and the P part of the shifter place in diagonal!
Then I have attached all those different parts separately with whatever corners I have available and after covering the empty spaces with cardboard alcantara all the mess is hidden and just looks nice !

I have a question for you.. 3 screens setup are always push forward as one of the best way to be realistic as a simulator should be.. but as you already race in real rally cars, do you really have the possibility to look at your side and rear mirrors? I mean, in racing cars due to the head restraints on the seat, do you really have the possibility to look around as we you have now with your triple screen setup? Just asking as I never had a possibility to go in a real race car before :)
With helmet and Hans to 30 degrees rotation I can turn just enough to see my right window and see the apex but a have to fully turn my eyeballs too ! Is about the same vision with the sim 😁

Hey Steliyan, my waveshare screen just arrived. It’s working fine, but the HDMI port comes out of the side. How did you arrange it so there is not a cable sticking out? Is there a way to rearrange what direction the port is? Thanks!
It comes with that normal HDMI to mini HDMI converter board and I’ve god mini HDMI to normal HDMI cable buddy 🤛

The GoPro settings are the easy part and the important part is the lightning with those settings!
My games are at maximum brightness and I have big studio light with sof box and grid to not spill the lights over the screens !
The small sensor produce really noisy image with strong source of light !

What did you use as your frame for your sim rig? wood, extrusion, etc?
The rig itself is from JCL to be faster and I have put some extra aluminum frames to attach the different gears and boxes and covered every empty spaces with cardboard paces dressed in alcantara buddy!

I use the aggressive presets or the wet presets and never bothered with the settings on ACC ! Some cars really sucks like the Ferrari with those settings and my favorite is the McLaren behavior!
You are absolutely right with the understanding and I have to adapt my driving stile to make those cars turn in under braking 🤔 most of those just want to go straight!
I use this sim for fun only and content and I’m sure my times sucks buddy 😂

Unfortunately this model is with HDMI only and use usb for power!
There are other screens which can do that trough usb only with lower resolution which is not problem at all in this size 😁

The fourth screen is attached to the Graphics card as well as I use all 3 monitors in DP ports but I also use second PC and use there 3 extra monitors and can run Z1 program trough online 😁
