- Disney’s “Live-action” Pinnochio has hit Disney Plus and is full of hidden easter eggs for avid Disney lovers to notice. Pinocchio is one of Disney’s most beloved animated films and one of the first to ever hit the big screen. So it’s only natural that Disney over 80 years later would want to remake it as a live action. After all, it's already done it for classics like Beauty and the Beast, Dumbo, and The Lion King. Disney pulled out all the stops for this one, including a star studded cast of Tom Hanks, Joseph Gordon Levitt, Luke Evans, and Robert Downey Jr. The film also didn’t forget to reference Disney’s legacy with tons of fun Easter Eggs, including Snow White, Aurora, Zazu, Roger Rabbit, Jessica Rabbit, Woody, Toy Story, Ursula, The Little Mermaid, Dumbo, Maleficent, Sleeping Beauty, Rafiki, Abu, Pocahontas, Simba, Huey, Dewey, Louie, The Seven Dwarves, and more. Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Since the original was released back in the 1940s it’s only natural that changes would be made in the new version along with new easter eggs to find. Whether you’re a fan of Pinocchio, Disney in general, a trivia buff, or an easter egg hunter we’ve got you covered.
After watching this video those were all the easter eggs we managed to find. Any you noticed that we didn’t mention? Let us know in the comments below. If you enjoyed, like and subscribe for more animated content. And thanks for watching TheThingsAnimated! Thank you!

Live-action or classic Pinocchio? 🤥
Everyone would choose the beloved classic anyday, no question.
classic all the way!
if you pick live action seek medical attention
Disney with remakes: Be our guest, be our guest. We'll put our service to the test!
Us: A remake who won't do good might just as well be made of wood.
The original 1940s movie is so far superior to the 2022 remake it isn't funny. The excellent animation alone is mind-blowing even to today's audience. If the remake has any worth, it would be to get its viewers to seek out the original classic.
Since Pinocchio is directed by Robert Zemeckis, there are references to some of his movies, like Forrest Gump (Tom Hank's role), who, as a kid, wears leg braces like Fabiana, the former ballerina; there's also a reference to Castaway, with Hanks once again, now as Chuck Noland, stranded on an uninhabited island , who learns how to start fire with wood, just like Pinocchio did by rubbing his shoes on the floor during the dance number. Another Tom Hanks movie that can be related to Pinocchio is Baz Luhrmann's Elvis, where the colonel Tom Parker (Hanks) controls Elvis' life like a puppet, the same way Pinocchio had his strings pulled by Geppetto.
It's funny that Woody makes a cameo, since Tom Hanks plays both characters XD
I appreciate covering all of the clock character cameos, but making each character on the same clocks a separate Easter egg was a little much.
🤣 noted
Yes, it was very repetitive 🙄
@@TheThingsAnimated are you going to watch the Guillermo Del Toro version of Pinocchio when it comes out on Netflix in December?
5:25 Not just that, but it looks like the exact model for the Pixar variant of the Walt Disney Pictures logo!

Love how he resembles his original counterpart. He's an adorable puppet.
Pleasure Island was a piad entry park in Disney World Orlando. Now it's open to the public for free.
Also, as Michelle pointed out, the OK Corral is in Tombstone Arizona.
Something on the log jam ride looked familiar, but I can't place it. Loved how it hooked into a ferris wheel!
Paid, not piad
Perhaps not an Easter egg, but the part when Jiminy (in a pickle jar) said "Starving to death in a pickle jar. No, sirree. I thought I'd live to be 103" is a reference to his educational "I'm no fool" series first aired back in the 50s. Probably seen it a few times in Donald's Quack Attack.
Making woody and bull eyes separate Easter eggs is one way to stretch out a video I guess
I loved the film ❤️ and with us in the French version, Chris Pine is replaced by Arsène Lupin.
It makes me laugh to see that Honest John is disguised as a gentleman burglar.
And I noticed some other references:
-In Stromboli's caravan where Pinocchio is waiting, he sees two hanging puppets; one is a kind of ballerina and the other a soldier with a missing leg. It's a bit reminiscent of the fairy tale "The Tin Soldier" by Andersen; especially during Fabiana and Sabina's song. The music box, The romantic relationship between Pinocchio and Sabina as well as the Ballerina and the Toy Soldier.
-Always in the song, their part of Sabina, the decor in the background is a little reminiscent of Van Gogh's painting "The Starry Night".
And with us in France, particularly near Marseille; We go to the War West themed mini amusement park called "Ok Corral". that also made me laugh.
All I had to say. Thanks for the video.
the owl clock is archemedes the owl from sword and the stone
Jessica Rabbit and Roger Rabbit and Woody Aurora and Maleficent. It is wonderful Woody was in it. Tom Hanks as Woody and Gapetto and Zazu Donald. I love how they appeared in this movie. I love this movie so much. Ursula was in the pocket watch and Dumbo. I have a Pinocchio shirt. Wow Rafiki was in it too. Those were great clocks.
5:05 Incorrect. It was obvious they were drinking beer in the OG so not inappropriate for Pinocchio or Disney in a whole. Also they were melting their brains on the biggest Stogies of all time.
You do realize that those three boys are Donald Duck‘s nephews, right?
I love these videos keep the work up
Number 19 is wrong. The castle in the background is not the castle from the movie Sleeping Beauty. Its the Sleeping Beauty castle from Disneyland. The castle from Disneyland is called Sleeping Beauty castle but it looks nothing like the castle from the movie because the castle from Disneyland was built in 1955 and the movie came out in 1959.
Almost all of them are clocks
Amazing video 👌
I love what you do
What about the crocodile when is trying to bite Donald Duck?
2:25 Woody's.
I saw a lot of the disney clocks
I saw Aurora snow white
Aaannddd more
The ok corral is in Arizona not Wyoming.
This is so indulgent, lmao
the title to this video should be...In one of Gepetto´s clock.
O M G stop talking about his clocks!
I liked it

le fate ignoranti isnt on disney+ as far as I can see at least not in the us. Ah it's only in Italy I guess. Interesting.
I been new
I missed a lot in the movie because it was so bad a ff through most of it
I respect your opinion on this movie.
This video could've been 4 minutes shorter...
How the hell are they all easter eggs, the film literally threw them in your face. The so called easter eggs are almost all the clocks. I did not miss any easter egg, in fact I wish they were not in the film, they seemed out of place.
You couldn’t at least do Muppet Cameos just to make this trash a little less painful than it is now?
