I was over at a friends place on the weekend doing some work on his truck and tried those tri lobe handled screw drivers. My fist impression was that they looked like a weird butt plug. But after using them for a few hours, I was sold. I have arthritic hands and the tri lobe design is by far the most comfortable in my hand and allowed me the best grip. I'll be picking up a set in the near future. It was a pleasure to watch your lovely hands demonstrate the screwdrivers

I'm in the process of obtaining the red hard handled, black oxide bladed screwdrivers, I have 4 so far with 5 additional coming to round out the set. I bought them individually on Amazon. I really love the feel of these screwdrivers, and agree they just look " professional". Thanks for the great review, and recommendation!
I must say, Tony, watching your videos is costing me money! LOL Seriously, while I don't need more screwdrivers, your reviews and recommendations are always spot on and I really enjoy replacing my old worn stuff with tools you review. Thank you!
I was just looking at those. My Craftsman screwdrivers I have had forever the tips are starting to twist or brake off. I didn't know you can buy directly from them. Thanks for the info and another great video
I got quoted 207.00 for the 7 piece set from Snap on, off the truck. I just couldn't see spending that for screwdrivers. I've had nothing but a mix of no name, craftsman, and some gearwrench drivers I got for free ...needed an upgrade as a professional tech, they were breaking often. Bought this set off Amazon for 60 bucks, then added other tools until the price came to 205.00. Not only did I get more screwdrivers for the money, I also got other tools that I needed. Love Tektons stuff so far, I upgraded my Pittsburgh sockets to Tekton recently too.
I bought some of these after watching your review. I think personally I would like to have the tri-lobe handles but with chrome shafts. For me these feel a bit slick in my hands. I also got there 3/8 large socket set an I’m really impressed with the quality. Good reviews on your channel. Keep them coming.
I have the High-Torque 12 piece set (DRV41216) that I got when they were fairly new, and also the three piece square/robertson S1-S3 set... both sets with black oxide blades. I did not really like them at first, they felt weird in my hand. After using them, I have grown to like them once my hands adjusted. I am glad I got them at the price I did, which today seems like a mega sale.
Very nice glad to hear it and glad you enjoy them now. They are a great price. And ya when I first saw the handle design I wasn't sure if I would like them but now they are some of my favorites
I was going to buy these yesterday but went with a Klein set including a 11-in-1 driver instead. All USA made. However, I just ordered a Tekton Tap and Die set. Be here Wednesday.
The shanks on these are obviously made by Pratt-Read, and the GRN handles are very likely made by WILDE. I just ordered a set of these, and it will be my first Tekton purchase. Theres no particular reason, these are just the first American made tool I've wanted from Tekton that was exclusive to them. I like the hard handle. What Ive noticed though is that the plastic is so smooth it almost slips in the hand. I compared it to a Snap on I have and the snap on is a little rough which works in its favor.
Hello again Tony Thank you for the Great Video on Tekton Screwdrivers. How do the Tekton Screwdrivers compare with other screwdrivers on an actual job, in other words using them for work? How well do they hold up. When will you have an update on the Camaro project? Again thank you
I have the triangle screwdrivers already, but I think I'll pick these new red ones up. Do you know if the white markings on the end of the handles extends below the surface or is it just painted on. I'm worried about it wearing off. But I know some things, like game controllers, have the markings on the buttons injected all the way through, so they don't ever wear off.
Very nice and I'm not sure I haven't had any rub off yet but I'm not sure if it goes into the handle. I guess if they don't you could always engrave it as well.
I do like tekton screwdrivers, I have a couple trilobes and a nut driver. I do wish the screwdrivers had a hex bolster but it’s not a big deal. They are great screwdrivers.

As true as that might be I can’t get over the fact that they are offensive to the eyes. I’ve never seen such a visual atrocity. 😂 That being said I’m thinking of ordering the hard handles ones.

I know witte makes them. I have them as well and the grips are no where near as comfortable. You can get way more leverage with the tekton tri lobe. The witte screwdrivers are great screwdrivers and I think the tips are better but as far as the handle I prefer the tekton way more!
