I'm So Tired of Copying (Rant)

Little rant about how I think copycat content ultimately sets up photography/videography as something that can be easily replaced by AI, and some ideas on how we can ensure our work/style is more authentic to ourselves.

Just came across this video. Loved the things you discussed. I can understand why original creativity ends up taking a back seat when there are multiple paths to monetisation to seduce people. But like you, I want people to be more, lead from the front and innovate their way to success, or even just creative fulfilment. Everything copied today was once original yesterday. So lets have more original, or more of the intention to be original :)

I actually tried to educate "motivators" in ways to creatively present their message in a visual medium and they were just not interested lol. Everyone wants the quick fix or the quick path to financial security.
