As someone who did tier s and tier a already, and is looking into tier b, this makes a lot of sense, could even say its common sense. Of course its not a super sexy instant get rich scheme that is usually advertised.

freelancing is 100% starting a business; freelancers are self employed + classified as independent contractors, which is a form of business ownership + many freelancers also register as sole proprietors, LLCs, or corps. as a freelancer, you have to look for your own clients, determine your rates, figure out your product/service offering, marketing, invoicing, etc etc -- these are responsibilities that remote jobbers don't have
