Excellent! You're the first person I found who could explain how to change indentation and spacing in the Table of Contents. I've been searching for days. Thank you so much.

Great job. Now I'm going to see if you have a video on making the updated table of contents a template.

I had a document that had some 'body' updating and it had been soooo long since I had to update the TOC page. This video was a perfect refresher...heck, I even learned how to shorten up the dots! Thanks!

Thanks for this video. When I highlight the lines I want to indent and then right click and increase left indent, it will move to that position temporarily, then it will move back. How can I keep it where I want it?

my right click did not bring up paragraph as an option. I also need to know how to move the right tab inward when the title I use is quite long, but without moving the page number inward at the same time.

I inherited a document with a table of contents that is really jacked up now. would it be best to start new or reformat the existing table of contents ? it was created in word 2013. thank you

Is there a way to save those formatting edits as "a style"? What I mean is that even if I make the edits, the next time I "update" my table - the style reverts to the original style I chose to insert the table (e.g., 1 or 2 that you mentioned in the beginning) and all of those edits I took the time to make were in vain...
