Duties of Gateman in Indian Railway
Gateman shall ensure that red banner flag is placed across the track whenever the gate is kept in open condition for passage of road vehicles. Gateman shall ensure that gate lamps and lanips of all gate signals are lighted and kept buming continuously from sunset to sunrise.
