@@rodrigokuszek I'd still say the best looking game from the gamecube Era is metro is prime. That game still looks fucking amazing. But Re a close contender Def.
The reason it looks so good is that all the camera angles are fixed, so each background for each angle is basically a high-res flat image that takes up very little processing power with some minor 3D effects over top. This allowed them to spend most of the GameCube processing power on 3D models that were pretty damn good for 2002. The hardware at the time could never have rendered so much detail in real time.
What I don't understand is how the "self defense handgun", which is a Derringer pistol that typically uses a small caliber bullet, can one shot a hunter but a 12 gauge shotgun can't. I find that really strange.

This is one of the best games EVER made. The remake that is. The classic is a fantastic game in it's own right, but the remake is just on another level. The only complaint I have about it is that they really cut down on the gore in comparison to the classic PS versions. You used to be able to literally blow zombies in half with a shotgun, or a grenade launcher. Half their torso would blow up. That doesn't really happen in the remake. Either you decapitate a zombie cleanly, or they just sort of fall over and backwards even when hit point blank with a grenade launcher. Sort of silly looking in my opinion. If you hit an enemy with a grenade launcher in the original 3 games, they would explode and chunks would go flying everywhere. Not sure why they decided to "clean it up" when there were already more gory games out there. And even in the more modern age, we've had games like Dead Space that really went the extra mile in terms of gore. This is still my favorite game series of all time. At least up until the remake and re:zero. After that, I stopped caring. Sometime after Code Veronica, Capcom took the series in an awful new direction that really got away from it's roots. RE7 is a partial step in the right direction, but only a partial step. Let's see how the RE2 remake is.
Fifty0ne to answer your question regarding the cut gore. Is that CERO was formed early 2000's which is when a lot of Japanese games became less gory. Hi, Carci. Have been enjoying your playthroughts for couple months now. Especially no damage ones, 'cause using healing items just doesn't make much sense in terms of the story. It looks the way it kinda was meant to be played. Keep up an excellent job!
I wish we had more RE games like this. 2 & 3 remastered should have had an alternative game play mode where we had the classic camera angle :( we don't need super ultra high definition remakes of games. I'm curious to see how you'd approach that, even though it's closer to what a casual run-through would be like. I'd still like to see how you'd decide how to deal with Crimson heads and hunters without taking damage, and having to kill them versus dodge them. Maybe even on Real Survival, but would you have enough ammo to kill everything? I've never done it so I have no idea. I've only ever beaten this game on normal mode. That's just the way I prefer to play the game.
To my knowledge you haven't done that kind of run with the remaster, unless it's a twitch-vod I haven't seen. I checked both the new and old channels. I loved your kill everything arrange mode in the original RE1... so that's why I ask.
I love speed runs with commentary. Good job on getting the quality so high.
Jill is such a PAWG. This is one of my favorite games ever. I can play and even watch it over and over again.
What is a PAWG?

@@ShortSight32 I googled it, and it turns out I'm a PAWG
That’s my password on PSN, no bs guv👽
@26:03 Rebecca is so crap at the piano she managed to play a windows key
😂
Can you do another outbreak file 1 & 2 run soon? I don't mind what type it is I'm just itching to see someone play outbreak again! Thanks!
I came here from the one on your old account. Thanks for explaining what is happening, it really makes it watchable for someone not familiar with every aspect.
A magnum hidden in a secret compartment of a gravestone locked behind 3 metals. How impractical can you get xD.
Thanks UA-cam for recommending this in 2022 and Carcinogen, you have a new sub!
excellent! im really enjoying watching your speed runs lately. ive always been too scared to play these games on my own xD the commentary is great, too. i like the explanations!!
This dude is seriously nasty at every game he pops in. Best game commentator, hands down for the resident evil series.
Hi, Carci. Have been enjoying your playthroughts for couple months now. Especially no damage ones, 'cause using healing items just doesn't make much sense in terms of the story. It looks the way it kinda was meant to be played. Keep up an excellent job!
Alex Kozlenko cheers!
Me: takes two steps at a time
Chris: VIBRATE
keep it up carci. i'm always watching your vídeos and i think you are doing pretty good work! greetings from brazil.
I've spent a whole day officially mostly just watching his RE gameplays
check out my other stuff too! if there’s any games (non-survival horror) you wanna see, pls let me know, okay?
@@CarcinogenSDA of course I'll take a look at everything else too
your commentery video helped me so much buddy thanks
Rebecca looks really fine in that cowgirl costume. Chris should have had other things in mind in the piano room!!
Chris is focused on the mission.
I've completed this game 100's of times (no exaggeration) yet it never gets old, I could play it for the rest of time happily.
Do You think Chris will get himself a Jilled Sandwich ;) ?
Does someone pay you to say dumb shit like that?
@@degenerate8802 You don't have to pay people to let Them tell dumb things.
No.
I wish we had more RE games like this. 2 & 3 remastered should have had an alternative game play mode where we had the classic camera angle :( we don't need super ultra high definition remakes of games. We simply just want re made games that still capture everything we used to love about the original. Thank you Carci for being absolutely awesome. ❤
Holy shit, I can't finish this difficulty even Jill A Lot of Damage Worst Ending
hard part is the beginning but in real survival mode is to backtrack a lot to 1 itembox and secure 1 route in the mansion enemy free meaning kill all enemys on the route you most of the time take you simply dont have enough ammo to kill all the enemys
wen yoo also make sure you have bleach on standby. Cuz real survival means if u die in game u die irl.
lol easy game
Just finished the game even with looking by your video it took me 3 hours and 5 mins to finish the game lol, thanks for the walkthrough anyway 👍🏽
