I am writing to express my concern regarding my Philips coffee machine. Initially, the machine was functioning well and producing good coffee. However, after six uses, it started dispensing water instead of coffee. Despite cleaning the machine, the issue persists. Could you please advise on the possible cause of this problem and suggest a solution?
Hi there, thanks for reaching out. We're sorry to hear that you're experiencing issues with your coffee machine, and we would like to take a closer look to see if the issue can be resolved by means of a troubleshoot. Can you provide us with the model number of your device? Awaiting your reply.
Thanks for sharing the model number with us. The problem you're experiencing could be due to several reasons, such as a clogged coffee funnel, a misaligned brew group, or a need for descaling despite recent cleaning. To address this, we suggest the following steps: 1. Ensure that the coffee funnel isn’t clogged with coffee powder. You can clean it by using the spoon handle that came with your machine to unclog it. 2. Check if the brew group is properly aligned and securely in place, as this is crucial for the machine to function correctly. 3. Even if the machine has been cleaned recently, we recommend descaling it if you live in an area with hard water. If these steps don’t resolve the issue, please contact our customer service team directly through one of our Social Media channels, or the support page on our website for further assistance. We’re committed to providing you with a functioning machine and a great coffee experience.
Hi Joey, thanks for your comment. To maintain the optimal performance and hygiene of your EP5547/90's milk system, it’s indeed recommended to use the milk circuit cleaner (CA6705). For the monthly cleaning routine, you should use one sachet of the CA6705 cleaner to prevent the milk circuit from clogging and to ensure the best taste for your coffee specialties. The process is straightforward: dissolve the contents of one sachet in 500ml of water, remove the milk system parts and soak them in the solution for about 5 minutes. After soaking, rinse the parts thoroughly with clean water. For daily maintenance, it's sufficient to rinse the milk system under tap water. Remember to disassemble and clean all parts of the milk carafe weekly in lukewarm water. Following these steps will help prolong the lifetime of your machine and maintain the quality of your coffee. If you have any further questions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us through one of our Social Media channels, or the support page on our website.
You’re welcome Joey 😉. We're thrilled to hear that you're enjoying your EP5547/90! If you ever have any questions or need assistance in the future, please don't hesitate to reach out. Have a great day! ☕✨
Hi Joey, the intuitive display provides an easy way to select a recipe and fine-tune the strength, coffee length, and milk volume. For a 70% milk to 30% foam ratio, you may need to experiment with the settings to achieve your desired consistency. The user manual provides detailed instructions on how to make these adjustments.
Hi, thanks for your comment. Regarding the cleaning of the EP5547/90, it’s essential to ensure that the machine is switched on before starting the cleaning process. This is because the cleaning cycle involves running water through the brewing circuit to remove any coffee residue and oils, which can only be done when the machine is powered. It’s not recommended to attempt cleaning the machine when it’s turned off as it will not complete the necessary cleaning cycles. For detailed instructions and safety precautions, please refer to the user manual provided with your machine or visit the Philips support page. Always ensure to follow the specified guidelines to maintain the optimal performance and longevity of your espresso machine.
Why sometimes happens indicates me that tank is empty but its not empty it’s full and still don’t see it correct but keep giving me message to fill water.
Hi, thank you for reaching out to us. If the warning light is on, it means that the water tank is either almost empty or not properly in place. To resolve this issue, please follow these steps: - Remove the water tank. - Fill it to the maximum level with water. - Ensure the water tank is securely pushed back into the machine until the warning light turns off. If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, feel free to contact us on social media or through the contact details on our website.
Hi there, thanks for reaching out. Unfortunately we're not quite sure what you mean - when the AquaClean is active, the status of the AquaClean filter is always visible on the screen as a percentage. After 95 liters of water have flowed through the filter, the filter will cease to work. The AquaClean status indicator drops to 0% to remind you to replace the filter. So, we recommend replacing the filter when you see this. 😉 We hope this helps but if you have any other questions, please feel free to contact us via Facebook or X.
@@PhilipsHomeLiving I second the question: you can clearly see on the display saying AquaClean (1/8) first, which is later in the video changed to (2/8). So the question is - what specific procedures would be required after 8th AquaClean? Best regards.
