- In this episode we take a trip to Port Renfrew on the west coast of Vancouver Island to go halibut fishing in the open ocean with Captain Morgan!! We catch a halibut so big we have to harpoon it before bringing it aboard!! What an adventure!! What a day of fishing! Amazing catch and cook on the boat out at sea. Love the change of scenery! I used to fish for halibut all the time in California. They sure don't get as big as if does up there that's for sure!

Thats a keeper, definitely not huge though. Weve hauled in many around 100 and one at 250, had to tow that one to shore.

Yeah we've been out a lot this season, we took a break from filming episodes. Editing takes up a ton of my time and have had only time to fish this season. How about you, you've been getting out?
