The scene to follow is one of the best in the whole show, when John Goodman delivers: "You could have lived the rest of your life in blissful ignorance and died a happy pansexual imp, but you wanted to feel power this year. Well, now you're going to feel my power as it surges downward from me straight through you from nostril to rectum now until the end of time... and that's... wassup."

I hate how quickly they got rid of Vice Dean, he was so good.
They probably couldn't get Goodman for too long, I assume he's usually pretty busy with other projects. Plus he was around for like half a season if I remember right, that's better than one or two episodes!

I love how the vice Dean actually let him believe for a whole day that he actually had ANY power instead of just ending him right then and there!

IIRC this season was jacked up due to the writers strike and original plan was for more Goodman than what we got.
Still a brilliant season.

Always wandered why he was propped up as being an antagonist at the beginning then his character getting sidelined for the rest of the season until the end. This explains it.

I have to side with Vice-Dean Laybourne on this one. Dean Pelton spends 90 percent of the school's budget on wacky costumes for the sole purpose of wearing them while making announcements to one study group but then gives crap to the vice-dean for buying a coffee machine.
