Try the Barnes 80 grain TTSX with IMR 4350 powder. The 243 will shoot about any bullet with the slow 4350 powder. The Barnes always shoots the best. I have 2 Ridge rifles in 30-06 and 7mm. The next will be a 243. 243 is actually my favorite rifle. I have had several. I just got into Bergara Ridge rifles and the next will be the 243 Ridge. Both of my Ridge rifles will cloverleaf at 100. 165 grain TTSX in 30-06 and 140 grain TTSX for my 7mm both with IMR 4350 powder.

Thanks man I’ll have to try it out! I just started reloading this past year so I’m still new to the game so any information will help me out ! I love the Bergara ridge rifles that 243 was my first one ! I’ve always been a big savage and tikka guy but I’m broadening my collection and seeing what else is out there. Thanks again for the info !!

I meant to say that the 80 grain Barnes TTSX is a good deer round. I believe the reason Barnes don't have a 100 grain is because the 80 grain is as long or longer than most 100 grain 6mm bullets because it's a all copper bullet. I new it was getting near dear season and just wanted to add that.
