    Hi friends! I know this is an old video but I just wanted to say THANK YOU for the all the love and support that this video is getting. 🤗 I’ve been getting a lot of corrections on this video including the “こんにちわ” and my pronunciation and I appreciate all of it. I’d like to think I’ve gotten a little better now as I’m doing my best to constantly improve. ☺️
    For an updated Japanese learning routine, please check out my newer videos:

    I'm Chinese, I've been studying Chinese for about 11 years now (I'm 16).
    One trick I learned to practice Chinese or Kanji is to just write them as small as possible. You're so focused on trying to write them that you end up focusing on each and every stroke. Use this trick if you want to practice or when you want to improve your handwriting. :)

    • @bennyren980
      @bennyren980 4 роки тому +16

      @@soyal__exome4157 I've only really attended weekly Chinese classes so I'm too familiar with other programs. I guess you could try things like Duolingo or watch UA-cam videos. For beginners, the hardest thing to learn I think is the basic characters and radicals. They're some of the most important things to focus on first, even knowing a few can help you learn a lot faster. As for grammar and pronunciation, read some books or essays written by Chinese students. Listen to music, watch TV shows and films (I tell myself to do this more but I keep getting distracted by anime lol).
      This probably doesn't exactly answer your question but it's more about how you're learning rather than where you're learning.

    My reason for learning Japanese is because 10 years ago, I had a childhood friend who was a Japanese. We used to hangout a lot, until she returned back to Japan. Though she spoke perfect english, I still wish to communicate with her in Japanese. It's been 2 years since I've started learning, and I still haven't told her yet. We've kept in touch through out the years, and I'm travelling to Japan hopefully next year to meet her. I'm still at N2 level, but I hope to reach N1 before this year ends
    Update: My flight is on June, quite nervous now
    Update 2: We met last monday and had lunch. She was so suprised I ordered in Japanese, and kept asking me when did I start learning, even both her parents praised me to how good my Japanese was. She was sobbing in the restaurant when I told her I learned Japanese for her, and said it was the sweetest thing someome did for her.
    Update 3: We're dating now! Well, I haven't replied to this tread for quite a long time now. But I moved to Japan, and are living together with her. Its been a ride learning Japanese, to everyone who is learning. Keep on going!
    Thank you for replying, I forgot about this post
    Also, English isn't my first language so sorry for the grammad error 😅

    a few of my reasons to learn Nihonggo is;
    1. so that my family wouldn't have to spend extra money for a translator when we go to Japan haha (since i keep bugging them about it)
    2. so that i can translate videos/tweets of popular/underrated japanese creators
    3. so i can multi task while watching anime at the same time haha
    4. so that i can make friends online and communicate with my favorite singers, artists, and seiyuus ^-^

    This 2021 I decided to learn Japanese apart from the one I'm already studying, which is English. I'm currently studying English pedagogy (this is my 4th year).
    My reasons to learn Japanese are as follows:
    *Learning languages has become important to me 'cus it helps you understand more about yourself and who you truly are.
    *Japanese culture is quite interesting and I really enjoy watching anime and movies in Japanese (Always with subtitles).
    *Japanese is totally different from my mother tongue (Spanish), so it becomes not only a challenge, but also a motivation for me to undestand how languages are learnt if you put effort into it.
    *I want to demostrante to my future students that you can learn anything if you are willing to do it. And more importantly, I wanna learn Japanese using a variety of tools and in different ways to use them in my future practices, so my students will never get bored at all hahahahaaha.
    Have a beautiful 2021 and enjoy the little things. And always remember... Practice makes Perfect
