Story 1, the babysitter should have followed up with the police and let them know about all the weirdness (kids behavior change, fear of intruder and parents odd reaction and attitude towards sitter after the intruder was caught). As it stands, there’s a fearful young child and things that don’t add up.

Story 1 reads like a predator who the parents knew all about given their reaction. Now, it could just be that they simply no longer trust the sitter because someone got in, but the evidence doesn't match up.
Odds are the sitter would have mentioned hearing the front door open if the boy had let him in. More likely, the man was already in the house and said something to the kid when the sitter was making food. And with the sudden aversion to touch... Screams that the man is a child molester.

It seems like “Ben” assumed that the Mother was still going to try and get another baby sitter from the site and was gonna try to fool his replacement to let him in the house after Mom had left. When I was almost 12 years old with my sister that was 10 years old. We babysat a 2 year old girl. With her parents that used to lived across the street from us. They stayed in our house for a wedding. That was our 1st baby sitting job. Our next one was these 2 girls that we both know when they were babies. I think that I was 12 or 13 years old when we babysat them. My sister hung out with this one boy all evening. I ended up babysitting them. I babysat them a lot since I was good with them. We both babysat these 2 boys that lived near our vacation home once. I was 16 years old that I babysat this 4 year old boy that lived across the street towards my former home. That little boy was a pain in the head for me. The parents wanted my sister and my mother told them that I was a good one to watched the boy. I babysat another 4 year old boy that lived across from the street from me. He was so well behaved little boy. I was even kind of watching his sister, too. She slept through while I was babysitting her brother. I babysat them 3 times. I babysat these 2 little kids that I don’t know them during the afternoon. They were another brother and sister. I only babysat them once. I’m very good on kids. I did a lot of babysitting in the 1980’s and early 90’s. I never had anything strange happened to me while I was babysitting.

I’m sorry this is just my opinion but I’d NEVER LEAVE MY KIDS alone with someone I DO NOT KNOW. Ever. this works is so messed up these days I wouldn’t do it now nor would I ever do it you cannot trust anyone I don’t make plans I don’t have friends for this very reason because im too cautious to leave my kids with a random person who is capable of anything

Story 2: the 16y/o’s parents didn’t think it was weird for a babysitting company to be posting pics of the sitter online with a profile when she’s underage? Or the first job being a sleepover…?

I just feel like those are shit parents, they're just so dead-set on or you want to have a job. I thought it was so weird that they let their 16 yr old go stay overnight at some random ass house. Idk, i wouldn't let mine do that. I feel like as mature as they are, they're still just not world-weary enough. That narrator clearly wasnt, she thought it was her fault and didn't report it...aaaagghh. that's just so frustrating. She must be so worried of makingbhe rparebtts angry, it ended up putting her in danger, and because she didn't report it, ever put anybody else in danger if he stumbles across them. :/

I'm sure I'll get some hate for this but NEVER leave your children with a male babysitter. Aside from the fact that 89-90 percent of pedophiles are male... most men don't have that nurturing instinct that comes naturally.
