Also, I think Nivomats went away because over time they don't hold their fluid charge, especially if the car goes unused, so they go bad and aren't worth shit vs other shocks that are far less expensive and don't require to be treated like a baby.
I’m currently going through this right now for my Daytona charger and I keep seeing non compatible. Talked to a guy about this an he says to change both rear shocks and springs.
sean mcclish you don’t have to do springs. Again my original shocks collapsed upon removal. My current springs were the only thing holding rear end up.
I'm running into this problem with the grand cherokee overland. Are these still holding up well with no issues? How were you able to find the part to fit when they aren't meant for the vehicle?
@@rtownsend744brad what's wrong with the nivomat anyway? I'm looking to haul another 500 lb around in the trunk and I don't want the backend to be sagging while I do it. Will the nivomat take care of this or are they just a gimmick?
Mr Reviews it all the reason I put regular bilsteins on is only because of the cost. If money is no object, you want nivomat shocks. They are better for extra weight.

Are you saying that you didn't have to replace your springs? or didn't? Or did you get springs with your Bilsteins?
Damn! ...after buying $750 pair for my Volvo. I didn’t get this question answered anywhere until now.
And no modifications were required btw. Just need a 16mm, 18mm, and 15mm.
good to know! :)
My bilstein shocks are doing great still. This charger is my daily driver.

But are they self leveling like the nivomat?
No they aren’t.
