That perch Mary made sure looked good, made me want some😊...
She’s a grade a cook
@BriansFarmingVideos I'll take you word on that. I see your Dad shopping could we be seeing a new color on the farm?
Mornin, drinking my coffee watching you guys, life is good ,keep them coming greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Not a great day but still a good video. Best of luck in getting the drum repaired! Have a good weekend.
George is gonna be upset he missed out on a great meal. LOL
There are those days!
Not seen many videos this summer as I have been busy. The house looks lovely, good to see a log burner, I'm sat next to ours tonight. Hope everyone is ok.
Watching this on the computer and the Bengals on the TV.
Thanks for another great video Brian. It was interesting.
Bob’s combine is down. Probably that bearing you all thought was out when you thought you had a fire. Looks like you all were right.
Big job to replace???? Or not to bad????
Breakdowns are frustrating but hopefully can have it going pretty soon. Go get em gentlemen.
That fish noon meal really looked good. Perch is a good fish to eat, has a good taste.
Brian little by little you are getting your driveway and area around the house fixed the way you want it.
Fuel trailers. Hear what you are saying. Not that they have been out for a while everyone is liking them especially ones with all the accessories. From the videos I watch I would not be without one. Great piece of equipment to have in the field.
About it I guess. Give your combine a little cleaning and get ready for tomorrow. Your combine is heavy with bean dust.
Thanks for everything Brian. You all take care and be safe. Thanks.
The Iowa Farm Boy. Steve.
awesome video Brian. Thank you and your family so much
Had smoke pouring out of the back of a combine I used to run for a neighbor, never found anything wrong guessing I stone sparked in the rotor and the bean dust started smoldering. That was a stinky combine for weeks after that.
Seeing your dad looking at the new Claas combines online at the beginning of the vid I think could be a tip off that the Gleaner and Lexion are going to be finding new homes.
That concrete pad looks like the perfect for some old implement garden art.
Hey - fire up a joint man!!! It's ok.
Best of luck, sometimes decisions are made for us and we adapt.
thanks for the video .
Great Video Brian, Combines get old quick! lots of moving parts, thanks for sharing
Working on an airport years ago, removed, or tried, a small pad like yours found it 4ft thick!!
A D8 to do a driveway is as we would say in the UK a battleship where a canoe would do 😂
I see Bob on Tractorhouse……. That 8700TT in Indiana looks pretty tempting!!!
That concrete pad would be a awesome gazebo/ BBQ area
We need a Bengals update from BJ and I close out my day with a harvest video and a pour of bourbon. Cheers
Thanks for another great Video 😊 Keep up the Amazing Harvest you Guy's are Awesome !!!!!!
Thank you! Will do!
We added 2 filler plates, when running double crop soybeans. Helps keep the material in the cage longer for better separation. Joe at North Star Implement designed them and teamed up with SCH in Spencerville, Ohio to manufacture them. If I recall they were developed for wheat, but worked great on double crop soybeans. Pain in butt to put in and remove in cramped area behind engine with cage door open.
So the filler plates cover part of the cage?
Hello Brian, things are bad but they could be worse, If you don,t have the Best make the Best of what you have,Mate I think next season, sell the Old Class & get a New Combine which is in the price range that suits , we all have our trying times, you have a wonderful Family , & you fellows are getting fairly good crops, so I think in the long run, things will come out in the wash, I just love your videos Brain, I look forward every Day to see what you fellows are up to, Cheers & Best Wishes to All your Family, Regards Trevor.W.Bacelli. Just cut of double crop beans today in pa ran 43 bushel
Have a friend that leases a brand new case IH 9000 series every fall and turns it back in every winter. They farm about 2900 acres.
Has George been in your new office yet? If he has put him on the garage scrubber to give him something.
Good video good to see y'all
You need the railroad to ship in manure by the trainload. And Tree Chips in bulk also. Build up the soil. 16:23
Good video.
Harvesting is easier than ever
I can't help but chuckle when I listened to you complain about 20 bushel second crop beans. Back in the middle 1970's when we started 2nd crop beans, 10 was normal, 15 was good and 20 was "Take your wife on a cruise", good. If I remember, our costs were about $20-$25 an acre. I am glad to see how the genetics and technology have improved production.
Good job guys
Talking yourself right into a bigger combine. 🧐
Thanks
Glad break showed up
Hear amber lights at night in bean dust gives better visability
Morning from Canada
Mr. Bob wont let you play with the big boy toys hey????? No just kidding the 8 is for massive jobs not " finish" work!
Amazing your job friend.
My 2 cents for your dilemma.... go to two 16/31 Planters... one big new combine, 16 row corn head , 50 or 60 ft draper head ... long run, you'll be time ahead..usually one combine stops, everything stops to fix the other machine anyway- so just as well run one big machine
Mornin back at you
Evening my friend.
For the love of god man. Can you film an out-tro for your videos. Most of the time I have to go back and start the video over so I can like it.
Too bad you could not figure out before Dad’s combine feel apart. Is it a hard fix can you please show us how you guys do that? Thanks
And farmers are the back bone of America
What type of installation did the Navy have where your new home is at?
Ammo
Makes perfect sense. Y'all are right there next to the ocean, perfect for the Navy to store ammo! 🤔🌊🤣🤣
What sort of chemicals did the Navy leave in your soil ???
Another great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Morning!
Oh lord... You need to clean that desktop on your pc. The amount of files and folders 💀
I was using all of those though. Lots of comparisons
It will slow your pc down because it use a lot of system memory and it loads all the files when you boot up the pc so the pc starts a lot slower for your information :D@@BriansFarmingVideos
A force higher than us is telling you to buy that Combine
Sure a big difference between the single and double crop beans. Some of the beans in our area that were flooded in the summer must've been a thrill to cut. From what I've heard they were really dusty. Wonder if they had beans or BB's. Combines can definitely be problematic. On a good day you can go and go. The next day may be a first-class fiasco. Work on them for 3 hrs and run for an hour...all the while hoping that another gremlin doesn't rear its ugly head!!!
We can cut 120-30 acres a day with our class 9 and 45ft draper
The chemtrails in the sky are insane,,almost as bad as here in Ireland...
Military fly way and airport within 40 miles
The most polluting plane I’ve seen was an old like 707 nasa flew out of Cleveland. Imagine that. That was early 2000’s
How did BJ's Bengals do last Sunday?
Mawnin' Brown family!!
Not a pretty sight without coffee!
Great video
And that dozer looks like a john deere 750c not a crappie cat 😊
Does insurance on the equipment work the same way as vehicle insurance? Does it go by value of the equipment?
you could buy used class combine say 12 months old and alot cheaper than new
Could be a small rock got up in there and sparked off a bar or chain
Ok for what two combines cost together would it be possible to buy one bigger combined and have two grain carts running at the same time but would that be worth the money and time to do that
Mornin'!
It's not going to be this year but Bob going to have another Claas next year you and I both know it he just got to find the right machine it may not be New but it's coming
I dont think your idea of being able to run in tougher beans with the Lexion holds water. Your going to be bringing in more beans by going to a bigger head. Thus the power limitations will likely still be there
Hello!
Mornin sir
Mornin’
2:17 😂 not what she says! 😹❤️🖖🏼🇺🇸
You ever just feel like pulling a scene from son in law movie
Just keep reminding yourself of the price !!!
How stupid do you think the Browns are? Farmers have to think in business terms. They calculate everything very precisely.
I know nothing about beans but wheat two combine s
Feel like the gleaner isn’t that great Brian I know stuff breaks but come on
Mornin
Lexicon !
Tell Kayla she needs to let you get some sleep at night !!!
Someone is pushing for a new machine.
Get a Claas demo a 715 oh were not with Mike here
Are better than one
Once you get into financing, it really isn’t
Those fuel trailers are stupid you can only use them for diesel and def that’s pretty much it I wish they could come up with a gasoline trailer
They can make the trailer custom for you.
Most farm equipment here is diesel powered. Newest stuff requires donkey pee (def). Trailer manufacturers go with the most used products. They certainly look handy, so you don't have to shuffle a fuel tank from truck to truck, or rely on 1 truck to keep the fuel available for every tractor in the field.
I smell smoke, corse a lot of forest fires down here south of you
👍
no thumbs up , can you have this fixed ?
I think someone is breaking their Lexion bc someone wants the new one.
👍👍👍👍
🇨🇦
I pity Kayla waking up to a face like that .Good videos cheers from Bundaberg Australia
😂
Two combines ****
And BJs mucky windows 😅

X-9 ?
I’d try one but I have never seen the dealer so 🤷♂️
X9: the super duper deluxe combine. Few can afford, some will buy regardless, many may lease, but everyone dreams of... 😂
If you think you need 2 for beans is it possible to rent a machine? Less money than owning a 2nd and they would pay for repairs.
At the end of the day its more money then owning one
Renting combines really doesn't happen much. All repairs on rental farm equipment is you broke it you pay for the repairs
😂 unfortunately renting farm equipment of that nature. You won’t get them to pay for parts when you break it. Better off leasing them from a dealer for a few years. Then turn it in for a newer one. Then you won’t be paying for all the parts that failed.
@@kevink4914leasing is basically renting. But often, by the time you pay a machine off, it's worn out and you will be making payments for parts/service calls afterwards. But latter are 100% tax deductions, not depreciated like new payments are. Flip a coin: turn $ or turn wrenches.
Man that computer is going to run slow due to all those programs on the desktop. Let me know if you hear any complaints. 😂
what saying we had at work you have time to lean you have time to clean. just saying board grain cart driver. lol
