    Just finished making this hat and the tutorial was nice and easy to follow. Thanks for sharing. I’m going to make another one in a lighter color because it’s a little hard to see the pattern/texture with the dark gray I used.

    I'm addicted. I cant stop .akin g these hats. I did tag you on ig I think lol. I'm still learning. Everyone should make this hat. As I stated before, I would love to use your beautiful design to make a dress....

      Girl I haven't worked out a dress idea lol maybe a skirt from the bottom up. You could make a chain long enough to fit around the hips within the required multiples then follow the pattern as in the hat. Finish off with a ribbed edge as you started for the hat to make the waist... Might have to make a icord belt to help secure. 🤷🏾‍♀️ You just may have to wing it as you go 💕

    Thank you. I enjoyed the video tutorial on the stepping texture hat. How many rows did you make before shaping the top of the hat?

      I'm not sure how many rows I did but maybe 8.5" high before the decrease

    I really like this beanie. I don't think I care for the slouchy bit though. Do you know how many rows to stop going up and start decreasing for a regular size beanie?

    I can't work out what stitch to start each row with. I don't know what you mean by move forward one each time. Please help because I have to stop where you left us before you went ahead and finished the body.

    Hi, I haven’t completed watching the whole tutorial yet, thanks for sharing this beautiful pattern. How much yarn do I need to complete this project? Did you use the whole skein shown at the beginning of the video?

    • @DIYDanni
      @DIYDanni  2 роки тому +1

      No not the entire skein. Maybe about 200- 250 yards of 4ply medium weight yarn.

    This is a beautiful hat. The only thing is that you go off camera as you crochet and it is hard to see what you are doing and your hand is not steady to see what loop you're going into to make the stitch.
