Story: Bishop took this beat from Dre meant for someone else while working with him on Detox and then recorded his verses over it, sneaked it to LA radio stations, got way airplay, then Interscope sent desists to them because they were pissed he did that. That's why there's no actual hook to the song. I fuck with Bishop since the beginning but that's the story, I feel him for getting frustrated working and getting nothing, and took his chance to show audiences who he is. Salute to him, he played the game, and then he did his own thing after leaving Aftermath which might've been because of that incident. I so hope Bishop makes his way on Dre's next record.

He took the ref, rapped over it, hot shit, but it was unmixed and without a hook which Dre was working on midway but Bishop sent LA radio stations. It was hot and the most requested but Interscope sent cease and desists and it was a wrap. Bishop couldn't contractually wait for Detox to drop (which it never would) so he can drop himself so he wisely left and he's an OG for it. Just saying... that's the story.

He probably would have left Aftermath anyway but doing this Grow Up track and leaking it as his own is on him. That's the real story.
