  • Making your own probiotics is one the best ways to change your health. Buying probiotic supplements are expensive and are often trapped in the acids of the stomach, and the probiotics are killed before the body ever gets a chance to use them. Consuming probiotic foods such as kefir, kombucha, and cultured vegetables is much more effective than taking pills and I can show you how!

I have always loved sauerkraut. Our neighbour, one of my moms best friends, a German lady used to make sauerkraut and I ate it at there house. Although I do think mom made it too. I do remember eating sauerkraut at home. Well I just started making my own about two years ago. Kerfir about 40 years ago. A German lady I worked with gave me some kerfir cultures. And of course they grew. Wonderful little things. Well when we moved I think someone must have thrown them out think woe gross. I was so upset and I never knew how or where to get more. I didn’t even at that time know it was kerfir I was making. I just knew I needed whole milk and these cultures and it made this wonderful tasting product. For the most part I drank it. Although I did eat it sometimes too like yogurt or made it like cream cheese. Well about a year ago I asked at one of our health food stores about getting some culture and low and behold they had it. Now I can once again make kefir. Way back in the 70’s-80’s I had no idea of the health benefits of this wonderful food product. Back then I ate it because I loved the tart flavour. Today I eat it because it’s so dang good for you and the fact it tastes so good is an added bonus. I love your channel. So happy you discovered the benefits of eating homemade fermented foods and that as a result your healthy and life has changed for the better. God is good.
