@Morpheus-pt3wq That's how I felt the first time I bumped into this quest. 😅 The 3rd or 4th time I played TW3, I felt something was missing and this was one of the quests that I had, but didn't remember ever doing it. It's like when you find a loot and then you stumbled upon a quest related treasure hunt. Once you've found the note the "DAAAAHHHH!!!" music went off and I was bamboozled and like, "What quest did I do?!" 🤣
I started my 8th playthrough 3 months ago and decided to complete all the side quests/contracts/treasure hunts in the game and this was one of the quests that I played for the first time
I"ve never seen it, played the game many times... One I've found many times I can"t find anymore is the one in valen you find a woman crying and have to look for her husband, a hunter, and you find him eaten by wolves...
So weird, I have so many hours logged into this game, I have never seen it before. Then like a week ago I came across this like two days before the video came out.
It's not rare, only hard to run into. There are many quest like this one, triggering only when you go to non-obvious locations. That's the beauty of the game, exploring the open world really does pay off.
@@Threnser there is just so much in witcher3. I played two times and about 600 hrs and still missed many things. Most people Focus on just main story line, they would miss 70% of the content of this game lol
If it's not marked on the map, I'll 99% of the time miss it if no mission nor question mark leads there. I spent about 100+ hours on Death March, making sure I did everything I could find (question marks, all side quests and contracts, all treasure hunts and so on), but even now that I'm at the final stretch in terms of main quests, I still occasionally find new fast travel posts. I don't particularly like the way exploration feels in this game, since you can't know for certain if an area is a settlement or a simple group of empty houses with no point of interest, and it's easy to miss cool stuff like this mission despite me going out of my way to collect all those useless underwater stashes in Skellige's sea.
Ok i get it man. You want me to play it again for the 10th time now. Fine i will start now…😒
Feel ya
😂😂😂😂😂😂
10? Rookie numbers.
@@BalikAlistane far over 1000 hours😂Definitely a rookie.
hahahaha, plus that there are new modded quests on PC version that still make me come back to the game.
after 10 years this game still has so many things to explore
The kid was definitely traumatized by seeing the soldier being cut into half right in front of him 😂
Being welsh its interesting that i can kind of make out what she’s saying
What?
what did she said?
@@xvicaraujox something like "Who are you? What are you doing?"
One that I've actually never seen. I wonder what that woman was saying...
If ya defend them then the Noonwrath will appear on top of the cave.
This is worst decision.
Shoulve let the soldier take them.
I've been wondering about this quest for quite some time. Didn't remember how to trigger it. Thanks for sharing.
IIRC you can trigger and finish it without finding the journal, but you will be left bamboozled as to WTH happened.

FINE! I'll play the damn game again. Sorry, Control, you'll have to wait.

South part of a map. Close to the cannibals.

HA ! I thought I was the only one who stripped down to the minimum when swimming . Feels correct

This game ❤
Found this just exploring
i did find it randomly on my 5th playtrough it has been a day since i finished the story now i am on my 6th playthrough
And yet no one knows where to use that medallion
Very annoying I was on this island yesterday and did NOT know this existed 😢, back I go then!
I have never bumped into this quest as I hate using the boat/swimming
Goddammit ( double clicking The Witcher 3 ) 😅😅😅
Ahh im jealous with 4k graphic.. So beautiful.. I only played on ps4.. 😢😢
I think thechild might not be hers cuz he was dragged
Wonder if xLetalis knows about this lol
And when i think i already finished all the quest 😅
Gonna check right now!!!
Interesting! So what was the reward for that quest?
Play the game and find it out yourself! 😅
@RoyARJ007 played this game like 3 time already never saw that quest, the reason why I'm asking
She gives you a stone medallion but as far as I know it doesn't seem to have any purpose in the game.
Lol i found it on my first play through.
….does she play Gwent?
Shiny boots though
LOL I have done it a dozen times .
so, we should also now scour islets?
Done it,but happily do it again
Hard to believe that people miss such simple quest like this dont see any reason why it could be rare
Lack of exploring.

it's not rare, it's always there, just need to explore
Can someone translate what they’re speaking?
as a Pole i can't stand hearing english Geralt... sounds artificial AF
I disagree, I actually think the voice actor speaks in a native north american accent.
Polish sounds like a lot of gibberish.
Like cat having asthma.
And yet youre writing English.
Youre full of bs.
@@SeriousDragonify you writing english because you understand it. I'm writing english because you understand it. We are NOT the same...
@@piotrek200v We are the same.
What ya mean by that?
That youre a worm and im a human?
can"t wait for witcher 4
