Just a fun lil project I made on my free time. I understand it's not For Honor content, which is why many of you subscribed. But in the end, it's something to watch.
I did this grind myself 4 months ago trying to platinum the game on Steam and it was honestly one of the more fun times I’ve had playing the game. Something about stealthily stalking players for 10 minutes only to whiff my one shot at killing them and then receiving a mouthful of buckshot to the face was oddly entertaining. Since I wouldn’t ever have a reason to go back and do it again I was almost sad when I finally got my kill. Almost
The next best thing for me was getting my first throwing knife kill (only bringing throwing knives to achieve), helping my friends get the achievement by bringing something that will maim but not kill, then derringer only
I remember getting ready to grind this for a month, but I got it when i was throwing the game. i was like "whatever just kill me but take this," and i threw it and killed a guy. And when it happened, something snapped, and i wiped the squad with whatever gun i hat at the time while laughing. My ass of that i got it first attempt
Getting a "free" kill like this, but having something getting in the way at the last second is such a hunt showdown moment. Throwing a sledgehammer and hitting the arm too, really.
Its much easier now that we can refund and buy traits. Plus running necromancer + resilience + Solo VS Trio. Might have to derank to 3 star mmr to get braindead players to toss a hammer at, but for reference, you can't kill them at full HP from a hammer throw, they need to be 100HP or lower.
i will never forget how i got this achievement. enemy was fighting the assassin at fort and while burning he was walking to the other boss building trying to take out the fire. i was like 5 m away. very easy in the end if you get the right situation. but oh boy i needed a lot of tries for this. it was the last achievement i got. 100% hunt showdown :) i was so happy that i didnt even fight them. just ran away yelling over voice chat that i just wanted the achievement :D
Sealed and secured cost me the most brain cells. I got THOR, back before they added new melee weapons, and nurfed hammers damage. but I want to see more of your series, so I can re live the pain of some of these
Bro 2 out of 3 hunters are 3 stars. So 4 star is actually pretty good place. I think 4 and 5 star is where you want to be, for the perfect mix of sweat challenge and fun.
You don't actually have to level up your character anymore. Obviously you have the achievement now so it doesn't matter but for the benefit of others.. You can just buy a legendary hunter and respec. You lose a point for each perk but for the purpose of the challenge $200 for a guaranteed tomahawk trait is a good trade. Also, there isn't much point in taking a full loadout I literally just took a silenced nagant with poison (just to deal with mobs and maybe tag someone for a 1-2 punch) and a vit shot. If you're really lucky the vit shot might give you a second chance. But if you mess up you might as well just go into a new game
@@T-REXMACHINEGUN i almost got it today but i guess i was too far from him and it only did 77 damage... but i was thinking about lowering mmr and maybe those people are going to be easier to kill
@@m.h.7901 one thing. Unlike the other melee weapons you can pick up the sledgehammer won't 1 tap a body shot and you need to hit a headshot if a person is full health.
the best challenge to do, because afterwards, you're rewarded with that legendary thing we all hunt for; a three star lobby.

Get a friend(The hardest part) and queue into a duo lobby on a dead af region. Find each other and get the trophy lmao.

As a 4 star hunter myself, it was very validating to watch you whiff 4 shots and a melee on a grunt. Glad to see I'm where I belong.

This is why I like doing solo runs with just an axe, or now a sledgehammer

much easier way to do it if you get lucky, I asked a stranger to let me kill them. it was kinda awkward bc it took two hammer throws to do the job
It's a shame it's only 135 damage. That's why I got lucky to get someone after a gunfight

ive been in high 5/6 star and can confirm, nothing but meta loadouts and depression after each fight where the closest 2 people get is 125m+

4/5 star lobbies are the most fun imo. 3 stars kinda put me to sleep sometimes

did you first lower mmr to get easier kill or just by doing the achievement?

That was one of the easiest achievements, with the help of the voice chat you can do it very easily.
That doesn't count if you do it that way.
