Same here. Also, this music somehow reminds me of my current situation(I used to seek the knowledge but I ended up losing something bigger) and that makes me to sympathize with Thousand Sons much more.
I would absolutely love a war movie on the Dropsite Massacre or a movie on "A Thousand Son" like Seth Merzke suggested it for 30k. For 40k, Ahriman series would be absolutely amazing! Great suggestion Riky Morwing! The first book is soooo good especially. What I would absolutely hate would be a cheesy 40k movie with the typical GW stories about Space Marines crushing idiotic Chaos Marines because the later can't be competent and rational apparently. I've read enough GW crap such as Battle of the Fang or Wrath of Magnus to tolerate it in a 40k movie.

Thousand son Yes, all that and probably also minor indegestion. It's as i said, Thousand Sons "revenge" had an effect rating somewhere between paltry and non-existent. Ftfs, they could've at least completely level the chapter-monastery, or, better yet, render Fenris uninhabitable. To slaugher all the Space Wolf serfs and drive the chapter permanently off their home planet would be a proper revenge, cause that's what Wolves did to Sons in the first place.
+Self-replicating whatnot you have to keep in mind that the wolves actually managed to hold the fang quite well, due to the fact it was a well prepared positions intended to resist that sort of attack. The thousand sobs did as much damage as they could to the space wolves before the wolves received reinforcements. You also have to keep in mind that the wolves serfs also played an major part in the defence so so did take casualties. As did the wolves. The thousand sons burnt the fang , destroying its front gate and heavily damaging its insides and wards. They were vey stupid when landing so lost troops to space wolf counter assaults so that likely is why the author chose for then to fail to fully break the wolves, that ( it also sells better to the larger space wolf player base) I have them collapse the way into the fang so as to slow them down until just before help arrives.. So I would say that they did all the damage they could.

But untill the fight, Russ try to recover his brother in peace, and even try a reconciliation. On "Prospero Burn", we can see Russ nearly to cry, asking to Magnus to join Russ without fight, without violence. Spoiler : Russ was mind-gamed, and this message never reach Magnus.

Magnus ruined his webway project back on earth. He ordered Russ to bring him back so he could scold him. Horus secretly changed the order to have the Space Wolves wipe out the Thousand Sons.
Magnus didnt tell him anything because he was confused and shocked with what happened when he came through the webway and unintentionally released daemons. So the Emperor was mad. Still he could have realised that Magnus would not have broken his command for no reason. And that buffoon Leman Russ was the worst choice to send after Magnus and his legion. He could barely wait to get the order to kill him and wipe out the thousand sons since he found them revolting for their psychic abbilities.
Yes while Russ and the Primarch of the Dark Angels did fight but ny the end of it it actually strengthened the brotherhood of the two chapters the two of them still compete against each other in wrestling matches, eating contest, and drinking competitions

Even tough i like the Space Wolves and Leman. Russ Prospero was a mistake Thousand Sons were loyal legion and so was their Primarch their fall to Chaos was lost to the Imperium and all Mankind and the fact that Space Wolves had great part on their Doom is black spot on Chapters History. Altough all the ordeal in heart is a tragedy this wasnt a story of a Loyal Legion destroing a Traitor Legion but how two Loyal Legions end up clashing and slaugthering each other the only victor I guess was Horus
As far as I understand it Magnus pierced through the warpbarrier that protected Terra. Why didnt he then tell the Emperor that Horus is about to betray him and why he did that? He should've just told him everything he knew... Maybe some of you could correct me because I vaguely know the story
Because he was very arrogant and thought he had complete control of the warp but, little did he know he was part of Tzeentch's of plan. When he broke through he realized what he had done but at the same moment his astral form was breaking apart and he was pulled back to Prospero before he could communicate anything.
magnus found out that horus was about to fall to chaos (or had already) and to reach the emperor in time he cast a spell, which was forbidden because russ cried like a bitch out of psyker-rasism, to tell him about horuses betrail. this shattered the barrier protecting the warprift under the imperial palace, where the emperor was triing to create a webway-gate. to sum it up: -a guy who is already hated by everyone tells the emperor that his most loyal and loved son has betrayed him -he has ignored a direct order from the emperor to do so -the celar of the imperial palace is currently beeing flooded with deamons of that
Rolf, in this song, words are rather whispered until it picks up tempo. Yet, it lacks clarity and strength of the voice. This is rather a convoluted mess with background music overpowering actual singing. It is like trash metal where singer is a musical instrument than anything else.

That does not compare. When Wolves attacked Prospero, Thousand Sons turned to Chaos and became the legion we know and love. When Sons attacked Fenris, nothing followed, it felt like Wolves didn't even notice the attack.

Ftfs, they could've at least completely level the chapter-monastery, or, better yet, render Fenris uninhabitable. To slaugher all the Space Wolf serfs and drive the chapter permanently off their home planet would be a proper revenge, cause that's what Wolves did to Sons in the first place.
+Self-replicating whatnot you have to keep in mind that the wolves actually managed to hold the fang quite well, due to the fact it was a well prepared positions intended to resist that sort of attack. The thousand sobs did as much damage as they could to the space wolves before the wolves received reinforcements. You also have to keep in mind that the wolves serfs also played an major part in the defence so so did take casualties. As did the wolves. The thousand sons burnt the fang , destroying its front gate and heavily damaging its insides and wards. They were vey stupid when landing so lost troops to space wolf counter assaults so that likely is why the author chose for then to fail to fully break the wolves, that ( it also sells better to the larger space wolf player base) I have them collapse the way into the fang so as to slow them down until just before help arrives.. So I would say that they did all the damage they could.

In fact, Russ was only supposed to arrest him. But Horus and a infiltrated demon push him to kill Magnus. But untill the fight, Russ try to recover his brother in peace, and even try a reconciliation.
On "Prospero Burn", we can see Russ nearly to cry, asking to Magnus to join Russ without fight, without violence.

Magnus didnt tell him anything because he was confused and shocked with what happened when he came through the webway and unintentionally released daemons. So the Emperor was mad. Still he could have realised that Magnus would not have broken his command for no reason. And that buffoon Leman Russ was the worst choice to send after Magnus and his legion. He could barely wait to get the order to kill him and wipe out the thousand sons since he found them revolting for their psychic abbilities.
Someone like Vulken or the Smurf Lord would be better choices.

Even tough i like the Space Wolves and Leman. Russ Prospero was a mistake Thousand Sons were loyal legion and so was their Primarch their fall to Chaos was lost to the Imperium and all Mankind and the fact that Space Wolves had great part on their Doom is black spot on Chapters History. Altough all the ordeal in heart is a tragedy this wasnt a story of a Loyal Legion destroing a Traitor Legion but how two Loyal Legions end up clashing and slaugthering each other the only victor I guess was Horus

As far as I understand it Magnus pierced through the warpbarrier that protected Terra. Why didnt he then tell the Emperor that Horus is about to betray him and why he did that? He should've just told him everything he knew...

He tried to tell him via warp, but he destroyed the warpbarrier accidentaly.
Because he was very arrogant and thought he had complete control of the warp but, little did he know he was part of Tzeentch's of plan. When he broke through he realized what he had done but at the same moment his astral form was breaking apart and he was pulled back to Prospero before he could communicate anything.
magnus found out that horus was about to fall to chaos (or had already) and to reach the emperor in time he cast a spell, which was forbidden because russ cried like a bitch out of psyker-rasism, to tell him about horuses betrail. this shattered the barrier protecting the warprift under the imperial palace, where the emperor was triing to create a webway-gate.
to sum it up:
-a guy who is already hated by everyone tells the emperor that his most loyal and loved son has betrayed him
-he has ignored a direct order from the emperor to do so
-the celar of the imperial palace is currently beeing flooded with deamons of that
Yvraine has proven that she can restore the Rubricae. The 15th is not without hope.
