I mean, just listen to it- it's not a song that says 'Shit, they're here!', it's a fucking triumphal march! Właśnie sobie wszedłem na Twój profil i jaka miła niespodzianka: Polak :). Muzyczka z gry, a wg mnie muzyka do Warhammera jest REWELACYJANA!!! Music for Waehammer is GENIOUS!!! For the Emperor! \m/
Surprisingly this also fits Sigmarites of Stormcast Eternals. Especially the Hammers of Sigmar, accompanied with freeguilders and wizards. In my Soulbound campaign this exact theme is the one that brings players comfort and hope whenever they visit one of the most secure bastions of Sigmar’s finest defenders of the realm.
For every one of us who falls... another hero shall rise... and thousands more will take his place! For the Imperium of Man! We will die standing... but not before making our enemies die themselves! All Guardsmen... Follow me to Glory!!!
I can just imagine the regiments upon regiments marching in sevitude to the Emperor. The vast bright cities and the majestic battlefleets. And finally the rows upon rows of tanks, supported by the planet killer Space Marines.
The Cadian gate was made to stop/slow down a chaos attack from the eye of terror. this would allow time for a massive imperial counterattack upon the eye of terror. thus thrusting the knife into the heart of chaos. in my opinion i think the next large campaign will be a massive attack by chaos upon the cadian gate, then an even bigger attack by the mixed forces of the imperial guard and the space marines. :D
+Commissar_Dan Then GW injected even more grimderp into the setting. Though, 90% of all Cadians were far away from Failbaddon's 13th Retcon Crusade, numerous xenos are (at least temporarily) working with the Imperium, Failbaddon's out of Blackstone Fortresses, and most importantly by far Granddaddy Smurf has gutted the High Lords of Terra and united the Imperium under his own far more competent rule. So until Failbaddon gets buffed even more as GW incessantly jacks off to him, things are still looking... not as bad as they very well could be.
> Imperium finally gets it's ass in gear. It never will. Too ovewhelmed with other conflicts and too slow to react. This is the reason why Tau even emerged
That's half the fun, the fatalistic melodrama of it all. One man does nothing except die. Once you've accepted that fact of 40k life, the rest is easy. It's epic. Guard varies a lot depending on regiment, but classic guard is more WW1. Lots of infantry pushes, big clunky tanks, and heavy artillery use.
Little thing I learned, Billybob. Don't insult IG on an IG video, don't insult Chaos on a Chaos vid, don't insult Tau on a Tau vid, and so on and so forth. They attract patriots :P
Honestly in both Dark Crusade and Soulstorm the Imperial Guard Stronghold isn't to difficult for me, and i also play as tau, heck in Dark Crusade the first ones i go for are the Imperial Guard.
The Dark Crusade Stronghold as Orks is SO FUN. Just sending gargantuan wave after wave of free boyz into the minefields, gun emplacements and artillery fire just to cover for your actually IMPORTANT units (Nob variants and Flash Gitz) feels so good.
Wicked remix, fits the IG perfectly. I'm still working on my Super-Heavy Armoured Regiment. At current it stands at: 1 Baneblade, 1 Basilisk, 1 Tech-Priest w/ Chimera, 3 Leman Russ's, 1 Leman Russ Exterminator (converted it using a pair of left-over autocannons from the Heavy Weapons Platoon set), and 7 more Leman Russ's to be built (preordered the Emperor's Fist Armoured Company).
You served the Lords of Terra, and the corrupt governors and bishops they have placed in power over the innocent, the faithful, and the ones your structures and "laws" have made weak before the manipulations of corruption. I served a chaplain position in the Guard for ten years before I became a full priest, and in my time I saw every manner of corruption, sin, and incompotent heresy and hatred spill from high onto the faithful below. And all "for the Emperor". He would be sickened by you all.
As surely as I am clad in the power armor created by our God Emperor and armed with my blessed bolter and chainsword, I know that the Imperial Guard will hold the line until my Battle Brothers and I can sweep in to deliver the Emperor's Fury! For surely the Guard be the Emperor's mighty hammer and we be his fist!
ALL HAIL GOVERNOR GENERAL VANCE STUBBS THE Will of the Emperor decreed that he RULE KAURAVA i hope the Kauravan regiments provide new regiments for the Imperial Guard to fill the void because of Cadia like blowing up and because of that no Cadian shock Troopers
You say that like there isn't Millions of Cadian regiments out there that now have a PERSONAL vendetta against Faildabon. That and there are always worlds like Kreig, Catachan, Voystra and Armageddon that produce more guardsmen than other worlds combined.
I like how the Imperium is screwed as the Tyranids are coming, The void dragon is the machine god, the necrons are awakening, the orks are gathering, and chaos is getting it's act together, but them, the eldar, and the tau will fight their unholy enemies until they die. That's bravery, The Imperium, Eldar, and the Tau will all die but they will die a honorable death and probably take out countless numbers of enemies before they die.
I was sad killing these guys while doing the space marine campaign; they should have teamed up, Thule would have gladly done so, and Lukas was a fair, but stubborn, leader. He should have allied with Davian, he even said he had the utmost respect for Thule. Alas, they fought.

If you still disagree with me, never forget that just ONE Imperial Guard group with ONE Commissar is imminent death. This Commissar will make sure that you either, die like a hero, or die like a coward.
"Glory to the first man to die!" Indeed.
"Hell, goddamn Dreadnaught?KEEP SENDING MORE OF THOSE IMPERIAL GUARDS!"
I would send in the sentinels.

Please, you do it, I insist.

Don't forget that even Sentinels need Imperial Guardsmen ;)
215Days They seem the most boring indeed, but there's unquestionable badassery in mere weak humans fighting aliens, mutants, daemons and demigods with basic, conventional weaponry.
215Days That, and almost every lasgun you see is set on a "low" setting, and when at the "max" setting, can easily penetrate your adeptus' power armor. it just destroys the lasgun in the process.
Theres a piece of fluff somewhere about two mekboyz argung how the 'umies put them to shame by having the biggest WAAAGH ever with the Great Crusade.
In the end they agree 'umies still not green enuff to be orky.
The level of devotion to the Emperor and the Guard present in many of the comments here is most glorious!
Long Live Humanity and the Emperor!!
If you will not serve in combat, then you will serve in the firing line!
Only in the face of horror does humanity discover its noble side. And there is so much horror in the grim, dark universe of 40k.
The faithful shall have the Emperor's protection!
Ave, Imperator! Morituri te salutant!
Deus vult! His Will be Done!
"Imperial Guardsmen, you are the last line of defence against the alien hordes that threaten our Imperium. Each one of you brave warriors is part of a vast fighting force that will be called upon to serve in the eternal war. You will fight on countless battlefields on a thousands worlds across the galaxy. And, whether you fight in our great crusading armies or serve with the smallest garrison, you must be proud to sacrifice your life to save Humanity from its enemies."
And yes, I do love the art...For once, art of an Imperial City that doesn't have weird disfigured people with half a robot sticking out of their head, and skull probes flying around everywhere!
"To each of us falls a task, and all the Emperor asks of us Guardsmen is that we stand our ground and die fighting. It is what we do best. We die standing" *General Sturnn, 412th Cadian Regiment*
“… For the real heroes of war are not knights in shining armor, nor generals adorned with stars, they are common men who choose too serve their empire and to fight for what they believe in.”
Imperial guards, THE HAMMER OF IMPERIUM!
"WE are the Imperial Guard. We fight, to defend the untold lives on the planets many lightyears away. We fight, to conquer, in the name of the Emperor. We fight, to rid this galaxy, of foul Xeno! We have no greater duty, than to stand, and hold the line, Even at the cost of our own Lives. We die standing, and fighting."
"To each of us falls a task, and all the Emperor requires of us Guardsmen is that we stand the line and we die fighting. It is what we do best, we die standing..." -General Sturnn
Właśnie sobie wszedłem na Twój profil i jaka miła niespodzianka: Polak :). Muzyczka z gry, a wg mnie muzyka do Warhammera jest REWELACYJANA!!!
Music for Waehammer is GENIOUS!!! For the Emperor! \m/
This comment has earned you a Honorifica Imperialis. Well done trooper!
The Emperor protects!
The picture is awesome
This music is inspiring indeed. I have never saw so many such great speeches in one place LOL
While the enemies of the emperor still draw breath there can be no peace *Captain Gabriel* Blood Ravens Chapter*Space Marines
+God Emperor
If the enemies of the Emperor still draw breath... send in more men for them to drown under.
This music is so awesome... so inspiring...
Excellent video, This is my favorite theme for the Imperial Guard. Favorite and subscribing.
We die standing!
"Pain is temporary, Honour is forever"
Surprisingly this also fits Sigmarites of Stormcast Eternals. Especially the Hammers of Sigmar, accompanied with freeguilders and wizards. In my Soulbound campaign this exact theme is the one that brings players comfort and hope whenever they visit one of the most secure bastions of Sigmar’s finest defenders of the realm.
For every one of us who falls... another hero shall rise... and thousands more will take his place!
For the Imperium of Man! We will die standing... but not before making our enemies die themselves!
All Guardsmen... Follow me to Glory!!!
For the Emperor and Terra!
Steel your heart in the knowledge that even if you die today the Imperium will never falter!
🦅 Glory For The Imperium 🦅
2:37
🦅 Imperial Guard Is The Best Imperium 🦅
I can just imagine the regiments upon regiments marching in sevitude to the Emperor. The vast bright cities and the majestic battlefleets. And finally the rows upon rows of tanks, supported by the planet killer Space Marines.
In the face of the alien, the heretic, or the insidious peril, the Guard Stands!
:D
This aged well
@@plmokm33 holy shit
You were right, brother.
The planet broke before the Guard did! CADIA STANDS!
The Tau Empire is fucked when the Imperium finally gets it's ass in gear.
The tau are pretty weak. I mean, the imperium does not focus on them as much as chaos, for instance (correct me if I am wrong)
They attract patriots :P
chaos patriots....
for some reason that sounds corny & hilarious...
sorry for the necro btw.
@@kukuhimanputraraharja8084 I made that comment when I was 14 years old
@@Cocarat206 funny how some words we didn't meant to be funny to our younger selves somehow makes older people laugh. thats humor logic.
Yes sir! For the emperor and the glory of the Imperium of Man!
It's too good to be available to download.
never forget cadia. THE EMPEROR PROTECTS!
By far the most frustrating stronghold for me. Say what you want about the Gue'la, but they're clever.
Commissar_Dan Well, I made your precious space marines look like chumps so I guess we're even.
Commissar_Dan Was talking about Davian Thule. Never played Soulstorm.
Commissar_Dan The only way he could get more awesome is if he dies and resurrects.
Without Imperial Guard, your marines would have no planets left to defend Barring their home worlds, and Titan (GK)
I shed a tear
"When in doubt, throw more men at it."
listened to this just for it to be in the background to listen when I read!
Tau will never understand the noble cause of the Imperial Guard! They're just so full of themselves.
Best theme to listen alongside reading any speech by commissar gaunt.
"The strength of the Emperor is humanity, and the strength of humanity is...?"
"The Emperor! The Sermons of Sebastian Thor volume... nine?"
And, whether you fight in our great crusading armies or serve with the smallest garrison, you must be proud to sacrifice your life to save Humanity from its enemies." ~Commissar Yarrik.
Space Marine Stronghold theme: The Enemy has arrived! Here we shall make our final stand!!!

Besides.. I wanted to share music, not the artworks. But apart from many soundtracks posters - I've choose different image for every track. So I don't see any reason to complain.
The bravest are those who feel fear and horror in their minds yet they stand up, fight and die in the name of mighty imperium of Man.
And if the emperor dies, you can most certainly bet that it will be sitting down
Brave is he whom knows everything yet fears nothing.
'Stand up straight you 'Orrible lot, your in the Imperial GUARD now my lad!!'
that sounds like it'd work well. the sequel to Chaos Rising would introduce the IG in their response to fend off the forces of chaos
