After an early start and a quick dash back up the stairs to get the tripod I let in the car, I arrived at Greens Pool in Williams Bay National Park to a gorgeous, peaceful morning!
I love Greens Pool, there are some many compositions to be discovered, but I had a particular composition in mind. The 'main' rocks' everyone jumps off when the place is packed during summer, I wanted to see if I could explore a few compositions with that rock.
I brought the GFX50R with me, loaned by Fujifilm Australia. I used the 23mm initially to compose a shot with the waterline as a line of interest leading the eye to a group of clouds that were catching warm morning light. I then swapped out the 23mm for the 32-64mm, to zoom in on the rock and capture all it detail. The morning colour disappeared quickly, so I used a 6 stop ND filter from LEE Filters to extend the shutter speed for a long exposure.

Hi Andrew, do you mind telling me what brand do you use for filters and do they make the filter holder that you use there for the polarizer + ND at the same time?
What gradation was the 0.6 ND grad? Hard?
Very nice shots and a nice location. When you add the white borders to you final image what proportions or thickness do you use?

What are the floats in the water? I was there a few weeks ago and they weren't there. Great video and some great photos mate.
its good image that one with the rock in the front middle at 10:25 ... but I would square it and take out most of the rocks on the right ... their is an interesting relationship between the shapes of the main rock and the outcrop on the left that your eye is drawn to , it might be the brightest part of the image at the back of the image to , I think what is happening on the right is not so important ....
Have you tried Capture One 12 for that camera?
