I like that "round" sound that a fluglehorn has, Clark Terry played it best IMO
Art Farmer and Dizzy Gillespie also switched from trumpet to flugelhorn
Those late 70s Savoy issues are spectacular. Also don’t sleep on the Verve Polygram series released from 78-83. Double albums with illustration covers. Most mastered by Robert Ludwig.
Ella Fitzgerald , Charlie Parker, Lester Young, Dizzy, Billie Holiday and many more.
Just got my 70s pressing of this album on vinyl, outstanding. Great recording.
Thanks for the heads up Sir!
Wishing you a speedy recovery. Please don't inject any bleach.
Caught covid, cough & cough 😮
🤯💥🌋Giant Steps-so true
New preamp? Komuro?
I bet that’s a great Album
