i would like rowlet
Ash’s Hawlucha
Leon’s Rillaboom
The Ketchum's Mr Mime.
Ash’s lucario
Kalos, Alola and the Masters 8 were definitely Pikachu’s best league performances.
Honestly, everything after Hoenn was stellar, even Unova (if you don't count Lucario lol)
@@ProfessorAlexSilver too true
The way Pikachu took out Alain's Metagross and Tyranitar was stellar.
Let us not forget Orange League
@@ProfessorAlexSilver snivy laughing in the corner
Pikachu went from needing help from his team to defeat Drake's Dragonite to defeating 2 of Leon's Pokémon by himself. Pikachu really did became a powerhouse.
True progression :)
The demon. *insert Undefeatable from Sonic Frontiers*
@@justalpha9138 incredible theme
@@painvillegaming4119 One of the best in the series imo
@@justalpha9138 Yessir
Ash's Pikachu is not only Ash's strongest Pokémon, he is now the strongest Pokémon in the world. What a way to go out.
100%
Strongest non-legendary* but completely true. Our boy came a long way!
Yeah I was about to say mewtwo has something to say about that lol
Don't overrate or now ok!
Plot Armor always activates at important events
I love how taking down dragonite was a team effort.
Almost everyone contributed to doing damage to the dragonite, with pikachu making sure thier efforts were not in the vain with the most memorable defeat I would say in the entire anime (ofc toped with that iconic battle music)
Definally one of the most hype finales to a battle in my personal opinion and proves you don't need fancy animation to make a amazing battle (tho I will say the battles with great animation are still absolutely top tier so ye 😅)
Looking back, the fight with Drake is still one of my abolute favorites. Definitely my favorite in terms of nostalgia
That massive Thunder right to the head was epic and tense at the same time.
I know I simp a lot over Ash's Pikachu, but I was hyped to see him take on Leon's Charizard in the Masters 8 tournament finals. Even more so when he delivered a KO right to the head.
Sick way to battle XD
@@ProfessorAlexSilverit was awesome
If you think about it, if Cynthia’s spiritomb hadn’t used destiny bond then pikachu would’ve been able to take out maybe 2 more of Cynthia’s Pokémon like milotic or togekiss or even roserade since he took no damage when he defeated gastrodon and spiritomb.
He did take Air Slash, but yeah Pikachu could’ve gotten even better
I think pikachu could even rival Cynthia's Garchomp even though electric type moves won't have any effect on it he could have infict major damage with iron tail and even quick attack
Rough Skin exists@@videos43334dhdjj774h
I think it’s safe to say that it’s around Sinnoh is where Pikachu truly began to shine. Unova aside, he not only earn some major wins but the wins are from trainers and Pokémon generally considered to be strong by the fandom or in-universe. Great job with the analogy, Professor. It definitely wasn’t easy going through all these episodes.
Sinnoh was indeed awesome. I think the Battle Frontier was also a shining point as all the Pokemon he beat were top-notch. And, thanks! Lots to run through haha
What was so great about them?
Eh I'd say Battle Frontier based off the Anabel and Brandon battles. Pikachus best moment in sinnoh was tying with latios from Kalos onwards Pikachu was a killing machine
He even won against Pokémon against whom he had a heavy disadvantage. (I.E. Brock's Onix and Alain's Tyranitar and Metagross)
In Unova, wasn’t bad either. Nearly beat a Lucario in which the type advantage for Lucario was pretty big. If only Ash had brought Krookodile instead of say Snivy, then things would have gone better
Besides Pikachu battling Bellsprout in the Indigo league... Another fight that I really liked was when Pikachu battled a Serperior. It was a challenging match, and Serperior was not having it. Pikachu def gave Serperior that work.
Professor, I think that you'd be able to do a Team Rocket Ultimate Team video sooner than expected, since we got great news that all Jessie and James's past Pokémon are gonna be returning to them in Aim to a Pokémon Master.
Well minus the ones they release like Arbok, Weezing, Mimikyu & Mareanie.
That's a great idea! I just may :)
I wish James Cacnea was coming back
Mimikyu is actually too Overpowered to be a Jessie Pokemon Xd
Rewatching those scenes reminds me just how damn good the anime has gotten esthetically by the Masters 8, it's cool to see
Much has changed:)
His win rates are insane
That's why he's the BEST
Starting in the Kalos League, it really fely like the anime was taking Pikachu's power more seriously. The only time he didn't beat 2 Pokemon in a leaugue match was against Kukui where he beat a Legendary. He seemed perfectly able to clean up more of Cynthia's team if not for Destiny Bond. And he beat the unstoppable force that was Leon's Charizard *by himself.*
She respected the strength of Ash’s Pikachu and she knew how much of a force he would have been which is why she had to do that
Cynthia is smart, she knew that Ash's Pikachu is a menace so she took him down quickly as to ensure her victory
There is a neat theory with why Ash's Pikachu keeps "resetting" each region. Usually in the first episode in a series, Pikachu gets zapped somehow and as we saw all the way back with the Pewter Gym episode an electric Pokemon's voltage ties into the rest of its power as well. Not to mention the Wattson episode of the anime after Pikachu got super-charged by the Raikou bot he swept Wattson's electric types despite his moves being resisted. So at the beginning of each reason Pikachu would get short-circuited and his level effectively "reset".
The resetting thing is a massive misconception
Tell that to Trip XD
I remembered back in the first episode of Unova Zekrom sucked Pikachu's godly strength in a thunderstorm so Ash needed to retrain him to be back at his prime
A video we all wanted
Thank you!!
Ash's Pikachu is living proof that if you believe in yourself, and keep working hard, you could one day achieve success! I'm proud of Ash and Pikachu
The Complete History of Misty's Politoed Remaster Video?
You were sure right about including Politoed apart of Misty's Ultimate Team. It was a powerhouse against Ash's Corphish.
That'd be a fun one! I've thought about touching on that in a video, but it'd likely be more of a general video essay
I loved seeing kingler and heracross yesterday :)
Same here :)
Which Trainer's Pokemon History are we gonna see next?
Likely some Journeys Pokemon :)
Great video
Will this be a new series?
Maybe not for individual Pokémon like Pikachu who was brought to every league
Maybe a video per league and the win rate of every Pokémon Ash used in it
I'm hoping to do more trended analyses. The potential for errors gives me massive anxiety tho haha
Good luck with your gains professor.
Thanks XD
Do you think you could do more character history akin to the Steven video? That was one of my personal favorites, as it detailed the strength of Steven as a trainer, rather than just one of his Pokémon.
They're on my to-do list :)
Yeah if Cynthia didn’t use Destiny Bond, Pikachu would have been an even bigger threat.
Also aside from maybe Steven’s Pokémon, Pikachu took out Pokémon from full HP
Thanks for the amazing video Professor Alex
My pleasure :)
Cannot wait for the Mr. Mime episode.
Some day!
You should make a video on Cilan’s Crustle. Also, it’s long past overdue for Dawn’s Piplup.

Video Idea: Pokémon Master 8 Matches Ranked
Thatt's a good one!
Pokémon is one of the most successful and enduring franchises in the world of video games and pop culture. At the center of this franchise is Pikachu, a cute and charismatic electric-type Pokémon that has become one of the most beloved characters in the series.
Despite the introduction of numerous other Pokémon over the years, Pikachu's popularity has endured. Fans continue to love the character for its distinctive look, personality, and abilities, and it remains a ubiquitous presence in the world of Pokémon merchandise and media.
So, what is the secret to Pikachu's enduring popularity, and what does the future hold for the character and the Pokémon franchise as a whole?
One factor that has undoubtedly contributed to Pikachu's success is its distinctive design. With its bright yellow fur, red cheeks, and lightning bolt tail, Pikachu is instantly recognizable and memorable. Its rounded, cuddly appearance also gives it an approachable and friendly personality that makes it easy to love.
Another factor that sets Pikachu apart from other Pokémon is its extensive media presence. In addition to appearing in all of the mainline Pokémon games, Pikachu has also been the star of numerous spinoff games, TV shows, movies, and other media. This exposure has helped to cement the character's place in the hearts and minds of fans around the world.
Of course, Pikachu's popularity is not without its challenges. As newer Pokémon are introduced and the franchise evolves, there is a risk that Pikachu could become stale or overshadowed by other characters.
One way that the Pokémon franchise is addressing this challenge is through the introduction of new and exciting characters like Lucario. With its unique aura-based powers and martial arts-inspired design, Lucario has quickly become a fan favorite and has helped to keep the series feeling fresh and exciting.
At the same time, developers are also tweaking and updating Pikachu's abilities and appearance to ensure that the character remains relevant and engaging. For example, recent games have introduced new forms of Pikachu, such as the surfing Pikachu and the detective Pikachu, which give fans new ways to interact with the character.
Despite the rise of other Pokémon, however, Pikachu remains a beloved and iconic figure in the world of pop culture. Its nostalgic appeal, distinctive design, and extensive media presence ensure that it will continue to be a fan favorite for generations to come.
To ensure that Pikachu remains a relevant and engaging character in the years ahead, the Pokémon franchise will need to continue to innovate and evolve. This could involve the release of more games and media that feature Pikachu in a prominent role, as well as the introduction of new gameplay mechanics and storylines that keep the series feeling fresh and exciting.
At the same time, the franchise will also need to continue to leverage the power of nostalgia to keep fans engaged and invested in the series. As long as Pikachu continues to serve as a symbol of fans' childhoods and early experiences with the Pokémon franchise, it will remain a beloved and enduring part of popular culture.
In the end, the future of Pikachu's popularity and the Pokémon franchise as a whole is largely in the hands of those involved in the development of the series. By continuing to innovate and evolve, and by tapping into the nostalgia and affection that fans have for the characters and world of Pokémon, they can ensure that the franchise remains a beloved and enduring part of pop culture for years to come.

Curious what route they would have gone with Pikachu in Paldea. Would he stay an electric Terra type or become something like flying referencing the Pokémon card.
Hopefully we'll still see him :))
@@ProfessorAlexSilver ya I would to see him to but horizons we kinda expect that ash is not showing up yet not by a long time unless liko and roy went to kanto, alola, or mabye even kalos they wouldn't see him for a while but we can safely say ash is going to be a big mentor to them however if he would go to paldia what special gimmick he would have, mabye able to change tera type on command because he shares strong bonds with every pokemon he has (especially lucario, grenninja, and pikachu) he may be able to do it
Do you know by chance what his record was to the lead up to the Masters 8? From Registering for PWC to qualifying for the Masters 8.
Only getting better
True that!
Good video you should do more like this bro 😎
Thanks! I intend to :)
Great video for Pikaking!
Thanks! 😁
@@ProfessorAlexSilver You're welcome! 😁👍🏿
I would love to see what your picks are for Ash’s top 6 Pokémon of all time with some honourable mentions. My top 6 are; Pikachu, Greninja, Charizard, Infernape, Lucario, and Sceptile. Some honourable mentions go to Gengar, Lycanroc, Krookodile, Melmetal, and Snorlax.
I did a video on his Ultimate Team last year, hope you like it!
Maybe if there’s another season of Pokémon, Ash will be all grown up as the region’s champion.
I'd love to see him aged up
Can you do the history of Trips Serperior, or maybe Trips team in general.
Working on that :)
If it’s ok 👍 with you Professor that you can do the history video of Timmy Grimm from the anime please 🙏.
That might be more of a general anime history on Dusclops :)
I'm gonna miss the little guy.

@@ProfessorAlexSilver can't wait :)
What can top his wins? You may ask me i would say that it threatening teamcrocket in latest aim to be pokemon master episode
There's a lot of emotional moments that are equally satisfying imo
Pikachu not being in the Gary battle still annoys me and is why I place it lower than the final battle with Paul. Also the way he was treated in the Hoenn league was almost as bad as unnova frankly.
Did you do a video of Ash’s gym battle records?
Not yet ;)
Pikachu: *does terribly the first three leagues
Also Pikachu: *puts in the work against Paul, defeats a Latios, 1v1s Trips Serperior, mows down half of Camerons team, outsmarts an Aegislash, solos two pseudo legendaries in the same battle, tanks a Golisopod that shrugged off a super effective Z-Move, fells a false god, defeats an Island guardian, embarrasses Steven Stone, proves he could mow down Cynthia if not for Destiny Bond, oneshots a G-max Cinderace, and ends Leon's perfect record
Pikachu really said "never again" lol
Pikachu is always very strong at towards the end of the league has his best battles. Every time he gets to a new region he seems to get weaker I don’t know if that’s true for a lot of Pokémon in the anime.
I'll miss watching him battle
Hey do you know Ashs lycanroc story? And do you think he's the best ace of alola? Because I don't wanna lose him as not an ace...he's my only favorite I have left.... please tell me you think of it because he shouldn't have go down early in Ash vs Kukui because he won the league and he should've taken down Braviary and Topo Coco...
Yup! Planning to record that soon
Commenting before watching:
1- You beat me to it Prof. 😂😂😂 I've thought about this idea off and on for a while now, but I wasn't sure of the best way to present the info. Regardless, I'm excited and I love this idea!
2: Gonna make a prediction... Hoenn will be Pikachu's worse Performance in a League, at about 30% Win Rate, with like, 2 KO's. (Not thinking about it 2 hard, just remembering my past thoughts about it)
Hoenn was one of the worst XD
@@ProfessorAlexSilver I just always remember how Ash used Pikachu against 2 Grounds types, and always thought, Why would you do that?? Lol
Can you imagine someone challenging ash's title after going, who knows what to reach this fight and ash sending his pikachu and they thought to be a weak choice for a champion only to destroy their entire team with it.
I'd llove to see that
Excellent in Leagues

I can't wait to see super Buff Professor Silver
You and me both!
Ash's Pikachu is my life long favorite Pokemon. I can names a lot of Pikachu battles they are enjoyable and make you want to watch more!!!!
I think Bellsprout battle in Indigo League was probably Pikachu's most embarrassing defeat because he was overly confident like in 1:50 and got his ass handed with a sap slap to the head. I believe that was the last time he ever popped off like that.
It's not a league but Snivy takes the cake for me XD
Nice 👍👍👍
Thanks!!
How about making ash’s Lucario complete history
We all said we wanted Greninja or Lucario or Charizard to be the one to win Ash the title of Champion, but Pikachu undoubtedly and rightfully deserved that victory way more than any of Ash's Pokémon.
Agreed, definitely felt the most deserved
Hey Professor! How about an All Stars team taking a single pokemon from the best masters eight trainers? I would love to see that :)
That'd be cool! Lots of aces XD
People think pikachu is too famous but there’s a reason it’s so famous. Pikachu’s strength comes from one thing: their bond. Ash and pikachu are bonded for life. That bond together is unbreakable and the strength of that alone is what makes pikachu truly powerful. That’s why pikachu’s famous. To teach us to believe in those helping us and remember that teamwork, is truly dream work.
100%. I love their relationship
I will not take the clawitzer disrespect, he put up a great battle and beat all ashs kalos flyers at some point
No disrespect intended XD
I love Pikachu, it's so cute.
Same :)
Every one wishes that they will have a pikachu this OP

Professor Silverfox!
haha thanks!
Wasn't pikachu described as being an evolutionary step above other pikachu? Why he is powerful?
Do mythicals count as legendary
Every region Ash should have a ace for that region, but in the last battle of that region Pikachu becomes the ultimate ace
that'd be a long wait XD
Hello I got a question I need to ask you real quick.
Oof, crazy that hoenn was one of Pikachu low points, specially with learning iron tail and afterward volt tackle
Super crazy indeed. I was surprised it did so poorly
tbf Kecleon was probably Harrison's 2nd strongest pokemon since it's the only other one he brought over from Hoenn besides Blaziken
That goes to Houndoom
@@CoolNala idk I mean it got a lucky counter on Snorlax but then it lost a little too easily to Bayleef
@@denickart Most of those battles were too easily won. Sneasel easily beat Pikachu and then easily lost to Totodile...
@@CoolNala Yeah and Pikachu vs Kecleon was the only battle besides Charizard vs Blaziken that wasn't super one-sided. And at least those other battles weren't a fully evolved fire type being taken out in a single hit from a middle stage grass mon.
Personally, I think Houndoom, but good point nonetheless
When Will you do a video on James. And his mareanie! You did Jessie and Mimikyu..plus I love those two and the story with his mareanie.
Even though all of james pokemon show love by hurting him. Well except cacnea.
Maybe some day :) I have a long list
You love to see it. The face of the Pokemon franchise is now the best pokemon in the world.
💯💯
Well yeah it's the most fitting way to end it.
By beating leons charzard pikachu showed that he was way stronger then alains mega chazard x stevens mega metagrose Cynthias garchomp in both nomal and mega form lances gyarados dianthas mega gardevoir' and all the other trainers that beat him before.
The best way to ensure Ash's Pikachu is the strongest: have rematches against every single opponent's Pokemon that he lost to. Now I want to see a OVA of Ash challenging Ritchie, Harrison, Tyson, Tobias, Cameron and Alain to a rematch, just to see whether or not he deserves the title of Monarch.
I'd love to see some rematches :)
That sounds incredibly petty.
Pls make a video on Meganium
That could be a fun one :)
I like Jackson’s shiny Magnaton
Same!
Last two tournaments was easily the best for Pikachu's performance, Pikachu has zero losses in both Alola league and master 8.
He prove himself one of the strongest champion ace in Alola.
And strongest trainer pokemon ever in master 8.
Yeah you really are getting to that raboot one huh
Haven't been as inspired for that one, but definitely some day!
This will be probably I’ll last time we see pikachu, at least he went out with a bang
I'll be covering him more in the future 😁
