I can't wait to go to Belgrade! Maybe in late Spring or early fall I'll be there. Thanks for the video. Btw, the only thing is the cost. That's why I save up more. Maybe USD to RSD currency is high. Even go eat out cost can eat up money spending as well

When the COVID-19 crisis began, prices in Serbia skyrocketed. As a result, Serbia is now more expensive than Hungary.

Serbia used to be known for cheap food; however, after COVID, everything changed. Prices increased and never came down afterward. Cheap food can still be found, but one needs to search a bit more.

By chance, I stumbled upon this video, and as someone born and raised in Belgrade, I completely agree with everything you've said. However, when you mentioned Belgrade being the "CITY OF SPIDERS," I was taken aback. I hadn't realized there were many here. Sure, I know they exist, but they're typically small, inconspicuous house spiders that blend into the background. I had always associated the idea of formidable spiders more with places like Australia...

Thanks for watching and your comment! Well, I obviously visited the countryside, where you meet the spiders a lot more often, and the house spiders don't necessarily bother me, however it's still so many more than I met throughout years! I really think I hosted a spider family in my bathroom in the summertime, and that spider village under the parapet of a building, believe me they were feeling comfy there😁

@@anyaeverywhere By far the largest percentage of spiders is with a body size of 0.1-0.2 cm, and legs of up to 50-60 mm, which are completely harmless, and since I keep the windows and balcony doors open, they come and completely imperceptibly stick to the corners and contact surfaces of the vertical and attic. Sometimes they catch a mosquito in the net, but they never bite or attack people.
The second type is extremely rare with a much larger body and much shorter legs, and it comes from the sewerage system. I'm afraid of them I'm afraid of them for some reason, and I must destroy it, since they are walking around the house. It happens very rarely that I see them, maybe once every 1-3 years.

The Serbs are very helpful, very sociable, The food is very great, for example Sarma and Cevapcici. The nightlife is very great.
As far as spiders are concerned, you have to remember that it is getting warmer in Serbia and reaching tropical temperatures. Serbia was already a warm country before. What bothers me personally as a Serb in Serbia is the numerous graffiti, it's not nice.

I'm from Belgrade and I've never really paid attention to spiders or had any bad experiences with them (except for the ones that take away illegally parked cars). In any case, do not be afraid, these spiders are harmless. Enjoy your stay in Serbia.

Nice video.. The guys you are seeing near the dumpsters are not there for a food😂They're collecting PVC/Alu/glass/paper and selling it ti the recycle companies, most of them are from city slums, mostly Roma people, and it they income, they not stoned, drunk or do any criminal activity...That's why nobody is doing home trash recicling...consider it as a win/win/win situation😂

The spiders are called "Daddy Long Legs". They pay rent by catching flies and other pests. They don't bite and they protect flowers. Just let them be, they are kind animals.

Belgrade is a tourist-trap so if you like exactment and entertainment BG is the best place to be! Anyways, you do look Slavic so many would assume you being Russian! Also, Belgrade is the most expensive place in Serbia. Beside many westerners, Serbia was flooded with Russian and Ukrainian refugees (due to war) which is putting pressure on real-estate and food prices. If you don't have to live in Belgrade you should move to Nis or Krusevac or one of many medium size cities and cut your living expenses in half or better!

People are crying in Western countries too because of the insane high grocery costs - people are going to food banks. You have to see all the reports about it but I doubt you'd get those in your MSM newsfeed.

Serbia is in very bad political situation. Serbia is a client-state of the USA, and the USA is not a friend of the Serbs and Serbia, quite the opposite, their goal is not to help us but to set us back, and that is why, through the puppet authorities in practically colonized Serbia, they carry out harmful practices that can be summed up in three terms: corruption, impoverishment, moral collapse. The government, although it has patriotic statements, in practice makes moves that are in the interest of the USA and against our interests. They completely control the economy and imports and through food prices (and in many other ways) they rob us.
